Such a cute brunch place! Retro decorations, bold colors, vinyl benches, whacky light fixtures. So many things to stimulate the senses! Food was great. Maple Tumeric Hot Sauce was a hit! If they had bottles to purchase, I would've bought it to take home! Portions were satisfying, ingredients were fresh. The staff was attentive and accommodating even though it was bustling and busy. Very family friendly. I would definitely visit again!

We have been to this location many times. The food is great and in par what you except at any friendly toast location. A bit loud especially if there are a lot of kids there, but you can always talk, so not too bad. The problem is that you always have to have a reservation or you will wait around 20 to 40 minutes and even with a reservation you will be lucky if you get seated within 5 minutes if your party is 4 or more people. Also parking here is insane unless you go direct into the parking garage and head to the second floor directly and aren't very picky about getting a spot near an elevator. The other thing that is they don't bring you water when you sit and it's also hard sometimes to find your server for a refill. That is a thing I always look for at a good restaurant. But other than those minor things, its a reliable place to go for brunch or lunch at legacy place as long as you are prepared. That's why we keep coming back.

The food was really good. The bread was very warm and flaky and melted in my mouth. The chicken also was well seasoned and was pretty tender. However the coffee was terrible and tasted like pure maple syrup. Also the service was pretty meh and it felt scrambled. When they brought out all the food they forgot some things like the coffee and fruit and wouldn't have brought it out if we told them. Also the waiter who brought our food couldn't even find our table and ended up walking back in the kitchen for a bit to get help. The food was still pretty good and would come again as the service was not too bad.

Meg's American Burrito was great, although a bit heavy on bacon and light on hashbrown. The star of the show was really the Maple Tumeric hot sauce on the side. Monster Breakfast was massive portion, and came with an extra pancake! Pancakes were the star, rest of the food was very classic diner, didn't blow me away. Home fries could've been a bit more well-done. Come hungry, nice comfort breakfast with massive portions

Nice spot to grab lunch at legacy place! Sandwiches were good. The portion of fries was a bit underwhelming. Cool decor inside the restaurant. Server was friendly.

Looking around for Breakfast this came up. Looked cute so gave it a try... getting in and out of this plaza is an experience of patience. But once we parked we shuffled into kind of a Shenanigans meets Chili's/Applebee's decor. Waitress was right over got our drinks and order. I asked for an Iced Mocha and the Monte Madam. Which I assumed was a Monte Cristo sandwich variant. Mocha was a drip coffee in poured over ice with Hersey syrup, yuck. My sandwich was a hamburger potato bun COVERED in two colors of sweet sauce, cold chopped deli ham, and not melted cheese. I brought attention to the meal and was told that "It was right, that's how it always is." It was inedible. Place is cute but buy something off the wall not the menu.

This place has the cutest, funkiest and quirkiest decor ever which drew me in immediately. The eggs benedict was okay, definitely not the best ive ever had but I was just trying something new and I'm not a huge benedict fan. The service was wonderful and i loved that they have menu items that support Noah Kahan's mental health initiative! My friend and i added our contribution to The Busyhead Project Community wall and we spent some time just looking through these notes and appreciating them.

Loved this for brunch with friends! Definitely add yourself onto the waitlist because the line does get long on the weekends. Very cute diner vibe with a pretty extensive menu! Definitely will be coming back as prices were pretty good too! Right in legacy place so tons of parking. Quick service even with the place being filled! (Also the little syrup bottle is just too cute)

The staff at The Friendly Toast - Dedham is absolutely fantastic. They make you feel welcome, keep the VERY busy restaurant moving along, and go above and beyond if you mention any kind of allergy. I ordered Amy's American Burrito and an Iced Coffee. I was fairly certainly it wouldn't be a problem, but I mentioned my problem with Oats. I would neeever have though there would be oat fiber in the wrap. They saved me some real discomfort and they had an alternate wrap to give me. They really went out of their way and it was so appreciated. They also get all the points for refilling my bottomless ice coffee which, at other retaurants, is sometimes forgotten. I used to love the Cambridge - Technology Sq. location and it was nice to go to Friendly Toast again and soak in the land of formica and whimsical vintage. The menu has changed a little bit since then, or maybe the locations have different menus? But still good. I'm glad this local chain is doing so well that they have expanded so much.

Great breakfast/brunch food! I got the mimosa flight and it was delicious. The service was very fast and the ambiance was good inside.

Where to begin?!?! The food was outstanding! Tried the hash brown cups (Hash Quiche), the corned beef hash (which was 90% corned beef yum) and then hubby got New Hampshire Scramble. Everything was perfectly cooked. Had to get the Boozy Coffee Flight. Horchata was my fav. The service was the best part. Like everyone is just a vibe. It was early, so I don't know how they are so happy. we will be back!

But they were good, it was the right amount of cheese to waffle fry. For my main I got the Reuben which was Ok but a bit of a let down. Really heavy sauerkraut and thousand island flavor. The fries also were a little over cooked for my taste. All in all would go back for the massive bar and solid appetizers along with excellent service.

It feels easy and welcoming every single time. They also have a rewards system which is a nice little bonus for a spot we already frequent. This is one of our favorite local date night places. Cozy vibes great food and consistent quality keep us coming back over and over. Hubby swears by the chicken ranch sandwich and the fish and chips and honestly he is not wrong. The staff, managers, server all were very nice and accommodating. Food came out fast and hot. Also had a very nice conversation with the couple next to us, who had wisdom and knowledge of some history which we could relate to. We ordered the following: - Fritto misto 3/5 for me. The garlic/lemon aioli that was loaded on the bottom of the dish was great just allows u to smear and dip everything into the plate instead of a small dip dish everyone has to share. The calamari and shrimp portion is a nice appetizer size. Crispy yes, but our portion was a bit overcooked. - spaghetti Al limone - perfectly cooked, nice chew and portion. You get 4 jumbo shrimps on the pasta plate. The lemon zest sauce was tasty! Enjoyed this! 5/5 - fennel sausage pizza 5/5 I really enjoy the way they make the pizza, crispy, good bites, fresh and served on the plate with a pair of pizza scissors so you can make your own "slices" loaded with toppings. It was a good thin style. Ample bits of fennel sausage, peppers onions and scallion fresh on top. - limoncello mascarpone cake 5/5 This was a great cap to the meal. Light, the mascarpone was refreshing, the cake was not heavy and the lemon flavor came thru like a champ! Not overly sweet which is a plus for us. Much bigger than what we were expecting, based on photos we looked at. We started off with the fritto misto, which included fried calamari, shrimp, & fried lemon with a lemon aioli to dip. The lemon aioli was spread all over the bottom of the dish instead of in a ramekin. We actually prefer it this way! Loved the lemon aioli and fried lemons. Calamari was not bad; slightly overcooked. On to our entrees! Their pizza is thin & very similar to a flatbread. We enjoyed this a lot! Great flavor and loved that we got to cut it ourselves. Came with a good amount of toppings. The spaghetti was made al dente & came with a creamy lime sauce. You can definitely taste the lime here! This came with 4 big shrimps. We were able to finish everything we ordered at this point... so we decided to get some dessert! We ordered the limoncello mascarpone cake to try & it was delicious! We sat at "the snug" bar hidden in a back room (sounds cooler than it was). We started with fries, which were cooked nicely to a golden brown but tasted dry as a bone!
