Came on a Sunday morning for breakfast/brunch and was pretty packed. We waited about 20 minutes to sit. The food was ok if you ask me a little overpriced for the quality. My wife had the blueberry pancakes with bacon which the pancakes were pretty bland and bacon tasted old as if it was cooked hours earlier. I had the steak tips with 3 eggs and a side of avocado. The tips were ok not a lot of flavor but got the job done. Not sure if we would come back to try other dishes I think you can go elsewhere and get a better quality for less money. read more

First time here. There was a wait so we gave our name and phone number to the hostess. We received a phone call when our table was available. I ordered the avocado toast Benedict. Three poached eggs cooked right but I didn't expect the tomatoes to be sautéed/ cooked and placed on top of the toast. Soggy bread is not good. Plus I suspect the avocado was frozen and thawed. Came here after a night of no rest with a friend. We arrived a few minutes after they opened and were surprised to see a few tables were already occupied by that point. The remaining seats were quickly filled by the time we placed our order. Service was cordial but direct. Meals were brought out within 10 minutes or so. I got the stonebridge omelette while my friend got a steak tip omelette medium, both with wheat bread. I noticed my friends omelette had a bit more color on it, potentially because ours weren't the same or if it was just prepared by another cook. Having it more Golden would have varied the texture of the egg making it that much more enjoyable in my opinion. It had plenty of vegetables and protein however, it was all vegetables at the bottom/closed side and all protein at the top/open side. A better distribution of the fillings would have balanced the saltiness of the bacon, sausage and ham with the crunchy and simple onion, peppers and other veggies. I liked the home fries as they were essentially French fries for breakfast, what's not to love about that? Generous portions given the price value. Table was dirty from previous customers and we were told it was the sanitizer when we asked her to wipe it she then saw it was not. Meal ordered and arrived and eggs were cold, potatoes were like styrofoam, waffle tasted like it was from a mix rather than scratch, just all in all not the over $50 cost we were charged. This place isn't bad. I'm giving it 2 stars due to the oddity of my meal (which is actually not really that odd, it's just me being odd about it). My best friend and I came here on a weekday morning (New Year's Eve to be exact). The place was very clean and had an "upscale diner" vibe. The food however, did not match the decor. I ordered "The Skillet Breakfast" with sausage, eggs over easy and wheat toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was nicely buttered. Here's the part I thought was odd: everything on my plate was cube/square shaped. The potatoes, sausage and cheese. This leads me to believe most things on my plate were previously frozen, which is a big no-no for me. I cook with fresh ingredients at home and I certainly expect the same if I'm paying for my meal. My friend ordered the coffee cake french toast (on special) with a side of sausage and home fries - which were also cube-shaped! I just prefer my home fries to be natural, rough-chopped potatoes instead of frozen cube-shaped potatoes (not to mention their strange orange color). Overall, this place isn't bad if you're starving and in a pinch. It also had the great tasting "diner coffee" as I like to call it. Love stone bridge. I have been coming here for years and order the same things. The food here is crave worthy and so so good. Chocolate chip and banana pancakes are my go to, my bf gets the cinnamon swirl French toast and eats it alllll. Def try the pumpkin pancake when they have it (it's seasonal), The steak tip skillet can cure a hangover. So far nothing has disappointed me.. There is even something special about their hot chocolate, it's so yummy. My ONLY issue is during covid, I have been doing the whole take out only thing since their spot is so small and they are constantly busy and not answering so I get discouraged and just make my own breakfast. They really need to work on the takeout aspect especially now that we are in a pandemic. I miss my stonebridge, they just never answer the phone. Update: they finally got the online ordering up and I ordered but when I got my food they put cheese on my steak tip skillet after putting no cheese and I can't really eat it. Owner of this restaurant REALLY needs to have a conversation with their waitresses about being rude. On MULTIPLE occasions we have been here, and on one occasion we even had to walk out because i literally got attitude from the waitress for ASKING FOR A MENU. Unacceptable. Today I was there and the front counter lady kinda blonde with the glasses was slacking, and also just not polite or friendly. Couldn't even keep track of who was walking in first and wasn't taking people in order. The food here is so good but the waitresses and the counter staff absolutely ruin the experience. read more

It had ham, bacon , sausage, onions, tomatoes , mushrooms and broccoli with English muffins. It was large enough for two. I also ordered the steak tips with scrambled eggs . The steak tips were okay. I didn't like the marinade too much. The steak cubes were on the smaller side. The eggs were plain as far as taste but that is because I forgot to asked them to scramble with salt and pepper. Starving! Went shopping and was looking forward to breakfast food for lunch. I had planned to try somewhere new near the mall, but was so hungry that I opted to go further away for a sure thing. No problem getting a seat and the meal came quickly. My usual, 2 eggs over easy, bacon, toast and home fries. It was all great. First time I noticed that they put salt on the home fries and must say I would like them without the salt. Otherwise everything was great. Two great tasting and filling meals for under $20.00. Guys, let me tell you something. I've been waiting to eat at this place since I was in highschool. My friends would always say it was the best breakfast place but everytime I tried to go, it was always packed with hour long waits. Fast forward I'm teaching at my old highschool right by the place. Today, I said I'm finally going to try it & so I did. Was it everything wonderful and amazing? No. Was it the worst? No. Called before I came and was told there was no wait. Was seated immediately. Didn't really know who my waitress was tbh but both people I had weren't the friendliest or at least not the best at faking it. Quickly noticed the ketchup wasn't Heinz but instead hunts. Already a red flag haha. No syrup on the table either which was odd. Ordered the New England which included French toast, eggs, bacon and sausage. I asked for no sausage and added in homefries. Drink was orange juice. Came to 14.90 when I saw the check. That price was incredible! The portion? Also incredible! On price and quantity they definitely get a 5. However, taste not so much. Probably the plainest French toast I've ever had. No joke. Tasted of nothing. I ate one slice and couldn't keep eating it. Eggs were okay. Bacon was salty & just a bit away from being overcooked. I mean they would crumble whenever I took a bite. The homefries were the best part but I couldn't enjoy them to the fullest extent because of the hunts ketchup. I didn't finish my meal. Sadly disappointed today. I'd eaten here once before and walked away with positive thoughts....now...not so much! I arrived at opening. There was only one other customer besides myself. He ordered first, myself second. I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and a side of bacon. Not sure what the other customer ordered but he was served his dish promptly and was pretty much halfway through his entire meal before I even got mine. It took so long for my order to come out that I actually had looked up on yelp to see what a large orange juice cost (which is what I ordered) so I could pay for that and leave! Just as I was about to pay for the orange juice, the dish came out. I judge a breakfast place by their eggs Benedict! They either live or die by it. Today they died! If you're going to offer poached eggs...make sure the kitchen knows how to properly poach them!!! Aside from the fact that it took forever to come out, it was served in an awkward skillet type dish which made it difficult to eat. Would have preferred it came out on a regular flat plate. The side of bacon was undercooked and fatty. The ultimate insult came with the poached eggs! In an eggs Benedict, the poached eggs are crucial to the success of the dish and unfortunately these were overcooked. In my opinion, this is inexcusable for a dish like this. You look for the runny yolk to flow and envelope the dish and I got sad semi cooked yolks. AVOID!!! Service was friendly but the long wait for an incompetent disappointing breakfast says "no more"! The breakfast was good and the portion sizes were generous for a breakfast, which is probably the best thing you can say about this place. However, what they lack in consistency, could be made up with excellent customer service. Sadly, their customer service is awful. Today, I ordered their steak tip skillet and I usually ask for my steak to be cooked medium. The steak was charred and cooked well done. I've been going to Stonebridge Cafe since I was in high school and after more than fifteen years- it's still pretty great! I try and head here for breakfast when I visit family. Their home fried potatoes are crispy and delicious (it's kept me coming back for years) and my husband thought their mushroom and cheese omelette was tasty.
