Got dragged to breakfast after I'd already eaten, so I only had room for a cuppa and corn muffin. Sat at the counter. Server was amazing! I didn't get photos because I was distracted by all the conversations and the TV. LOL. NEXT TIME! My friend's breakfast was delicious looking!

First time here. There was a wait so we gave our name and phone number to the hostess. We received a phone call when our table was available. I ordered the avocado toast Benedict. Three poached eggs cooked right but I didn't expect the tomatoes to be sautéed/ cooked and placed on top of the toast. Soggy bread is not good. Plus I suspect the avocado was frozen and thawed. I also think it's the wrong bread for this benedict. It should be something more dense like an English muffin. The home fried potatoes were crispy.

Came here after a night of no rest with a friend. We arrived a few minutes after they opened and were surprised to see a few tables were already occupied by that point. The remaining seats were quickly filled by the time we placed our order. Service was cordial but direct. Meals were brought out within 10 minutes or so. I got the stonebridge omelette while my friend got a steak tip omelette medium, both with wheat bread. I noticed my friends omelette had a bit more color on it, potentially because ours weren't the same or if it was just prepared by another cook. Having it more Golden would have varied the texture of the egg making it that much more enjoyable in my opinion. It had plenty of vegetables and protein however, it was all vegetables at the bottom/closed side and all protein at the top/open side. A better distribution of the fillings would have balanced the saltiness of the bacon, sausage and ham with the crunchy and simple onion, peppers and other veggies. I liked the home fries as they were essentially French fries for breakfast, what's not to love about that? Generous portions given the price value. Overall good experience and would come again if ever in the area.

Well, had high hopes. Busy Weekday morning. Waited a bit and ordered. Table was dirty from previous customers and we were told it was the sanitizer when we asked her to wipe it she then saw it was not. She scrubbed just that one spot and not the entire table and then left it wet. Meal ordered and arrived and eggs were cold, potatoes were like styrofoam, waffle tasted like it was from a mix rather than scratch, just all in all not the over $50 cost we were charged. Check arrived and they added a 18% gratuity automatically (because the bill was over $50). When I asked and told about issues they said nothing other than "I will let her know". There are far better places and better food.

The Skillet Breakfast, Coffee Cake French Toast, Side of Home Fries

This place isn't bad. I'm giving it 2 stars due to the oddity of my meal (which is actually not really that odd, it's just me being odd about it). My best friend and I came here on a weekday morning (New Year's Eve to be exact). The place was very clean and had an "upscale diner" vibe. The food however, did not match the decor. I ordered "The Skillet Breakfast" with sausage, eggs over easy and wheat toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was nicely buttered. Here's the part I thought was odd: everything on my plate was cube/square shaped. The potatoes, sausage and cheese. This leads me to believe most things on my plate were previously frozen, which is a big no-no for me. I cook with fresh ingredients at home and I certainly expect the same if I'm paying for my meal. My friend ordered the coffee cake french toast (on special) with a side of sausage and home fries - which were also cube-shaped! I just prefer my home fries to be natural, rough-chopped potatoes instead of frozen cube-shaped potatoes (not to mention their strange orange color). Overall, this place isn't bad if you're starving and in a pinch. It also had the great tasting "diner coffee" as I like to call it. It seems to be really popular as the take-out orders were so overwhelming to the staff while we were there, they had to shut off the phone.

Love stone bridge. I have been coming here for years and order the same things. The food here is crave worthy and so so good. Chocolate chip and banana pancakes are my go to, my bf gets the cinnamon swirl French toast and eats it alllll. Def try the pumpkin pancake when they have it (it's seasonal), The steak tip skillet can cure a hangover. So far nothing has disappointed me.. There is even something special about their hot chocolate, it's so yummy. My ONLY issue is during covid, I have been doing the whole take out only thing since their spot is so small and they are constantly busy and not answering so I get discouraged and just make my own breakfast. They really need to work on the takeout aspect especially now that we are in a pandemic. I miss my stonebridge, they just never answer the phone. Update: they finally got the online ordering up and I ordered but when I got my food they put cheese on my steak tip skillet after putting no cheese and I can't really eat it. I wish I could back and have it fixed but too far :(

Not sure what the rave is but the breakfast is below average. The corned beef and beans are all from a can. Waffle is overpriced in my opinion but does taste decent. Service is fast. Please double check your receipt as I was overcharged for items I didn't order.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to come here today. I ordered takeout for breakfast for me, my parents and my son. I ordered the Stonebridge omelette and it was delicious! It had ham, bacon , sausage, onions, tomatoes , mushrooms and broccoli with English muffins. It was large enough for two. I also ordered the steak tips with scrambled eggs . The steak tips were okay. I didn't like the marinade too much. The steak cubes were on the smaller side. The eggs were plain as far as taste but that is because I forgot to asked them to scramble with salt and pepper. My son did like the sausages. I would recommend but if you have a large group, call ahead. It is a small cafe. Service was good.

$15 just for a pastrami sandwich. FOE!! Dry as hell too. This place has gone downhill, way before their renovation a few years ago.

The roast beef sandwich with gouda was so juicy and every bite made me want to cry because I live nowhere near this hidden gem. The sandwiches also come with juicy, tasty bread and butter pickles which are also made in house. I'm pretty sure her meat is nitrate free as well. She has a wonderful selection of teas available - however I didn't have time to try any. The meal was topped off with a light fluffy blondie - super yummy. Overall, I would highly recommend and if I'm near the area again I will most definitely be returning. (I forgot to mention how kind the owner was which made the meal just that much better!)

Bridgewater Village Bakery and Tea Room is absolutely wonderful and full of lovely, delicious eats…read more I am very happy there are more bakeries like Janet's because she focuses on healthy eating as well as wholesome. This isn't your average 2017 bakery with cakes and cupcakes so expect to see a variety of different pastries and breads each day, a yummy lunch menu, afternoon tea, a breakfast menu, very nice decor for eating in and a homey environment. I haven't had the pleasure to dine in yet as a customer for afternoon tea, but when I work there on a very part time basis, I help craft the tea sandwiches which are lemon chicken salad, cucumber and dill and egg salad. When I say craft, I literally mean cutting off the crust of the bread and making the tea sandwiches. Janet mostly and other team members of the bakery usually help to finish off the afternoon tea orders by adding the sandwiches, fruit and pastries to the three tiered stand. It's very pretty once everything goes on it and I can see why it's becoming very popular at the bakery! Janet once told me the concept of the afternoon tea is for customers to fulfill their experience by relaxing and taking their time to eat and drink what they've ordered. I remember when I saw a mother and daughter having afternoon tea for the first time; the staff and I marveled at how they were having a great time. Those moments are delightful and precious! The pastries that I have tried already are the cinnamon chip scone, blueberry scone, gigantic cinnamon role, and sticky bun. The scones are packed with flavor and baked to perfection. I live with my boyfriend as well as his brother and they rave about them too!! Thanks Janet :) The cinnamon role is HUGE and worth the purchase. Seriously, that cinnamon role will leave you full for a few hours and it's the best cinnamon role I have had ever! There's a good slather of icing on them too so don't be shy when digging in. Great,I now crave one as I type this review haha! The last time I had a sticky bun was from Panera, and while not completely knocking Panera cause I still like their pastries, I would eat Janet's over Panera's any day! Hers is gooey and melts in your mouth after a bite. Her breads are made 100% from scratch with natural leavening. I have had the Italian, sourdough, wheat bread and bread & butter. No complaints from me regarding the breads because they all taste delicious!! I love how they're all vegan friendly too so you vegans out there, come on down and buy her bread! I love love love her sandwich menu. My favorite sandwiches are the chicken salad, roast beef with gouda and horseradish, Thanksgiving sandwich and her homemade eggplant sandwiches!! The chicken salad has just the right consistency with mayo, celery; I add a slice of American cheese to mine along with lettuce on wheat. I am a sucker for roast beef sandwiches and I can't get enough the one from the bakery! Janet grows her own horseradish so you're eating quite locally here! I love how there's just the right amount of "kick" to the horseradish mayo. Janet makes her own stuffing for the Thanksgiving sandwich and it's by far the best one I have ever tasted in my life! The turkey is carved, not processed like the ones in a package at the grocery store so that's another thing I adore about this bakery. I could eat her Thanksgiving sandwich everyday and not get tired of it. I like how the stuffing and carved turkey are warmed up because it gives it a more filling taste with the cranberry sauce all in sourdough bread! Everything here is fresh, healthy and very very yummy at the same time. Her eggplant parmigiana with a slice of fresh mozzarella and house tomato sauce makes me swoon all the time when eating it. I can't get enough of it because of how good it tastes. The mozzarella, tomato sauce and breaded eggplant burger all work in sync to make a wholesome sandwich. Now, I'm no big fan of feta cheese (i know i know..working on it), but my eyes sparkled and my tummy felt oh so good when I had it. It is slathered with her homemade thousand island dressing and I've had that type of dressing elsewhere and I only like hers! She seriously has a knack for making sandwiches. Her eggplant sandwiches go on homemade potato buns too! It's not in Bridgewater, but in Middleborough right across from the state police barracks on route 28. Coming from 24 S, take 14A which is the 495 s exit from route 24 s then hop onto exit 6 for Middleborough and after the rotary, turn right on the second exit and go all the way down past Dave's Diner and it's on your left across from the State Police barracks! I am very happy there are more bakeries like Janet's because she focuses on healthy eating as well as wholesome. I had the pleasure of meeting Janet and her lovely staff that work there. Everyone there are helpful, friendly and sweet. Just remember, she puts her updates on Facebook so check out her page for what's new at the bakery. Janet and staff-you guys rock! TY!
