This... was a super surprise and well worth it!! Was interested in going to this other local diner (Can't remember the name, waitlist was too long... was a Sunday). Hubby knows i get hangry... so he found this place round the corner from the original plan. One chef, open kitchen, local "diner" ( had 7 - 8 counter seats - small counter, rest was tables/chairs). One of the best diners i have been to in a long time, not as much grease as i have seen in past experiences.... and... didn't look like a "diner", if you know what I mean? I love the set up and how it's a veteran owned diner. The main problem was out of my four times talking to the lady. She got three of them incorrect. The food was cold The bacon was nice. I sat there for 20 minutes without any service and when they served me, it took another 20 minutes to make my food. I decided to try this one place for the first time today, and boy was I disappointed. I ordered online for pickup. When I arrived to pickup my order I was not greeted by anyone. I waited a while and then saw my prepaid order was sitting on the counter. With nobody coming to assist me I took it and left. I got back to my office to eat and the food was terrible. The corned beef was dry with no flavor. The scrambled eggs were over cooked and browned. The "home fries" were basically deep fried cubes potatoes (like frozen bagged potatoes). And the raisin toast was burnt to a crisp (and it's an up charge for raisin toast). At over $18 with a tip they need to do better. I hate to give bad reviews but this food was terribly. Service was great! But food was practically inedible. My husband ordered a milkshake but what he was was vanilla flavored water with chunks of ice at the bottom. Think more like a coolata, there was absolutely no milk or ice cream in it. And for $6.00 I was not happy. I ordered an iced coffee and the coffee tasted old, I couldn't even drink it. As far as our meals go: my husband ordered a big breakfast platter. Thought it came with home fries but there were none. His French toast came with no butter or syrup. We asked for ketchup and didn't get any. The eggs and bacon were good. As far as my food goes I ordered sausage and biscuits with corned beef. The corned beef was a paste with some potatoes thrown in. Basically inedible. I saw the cook take my sausage and gravy out of the microwave, stick his finger in it (no gloves) and throw it on two hockey pucks. The biscuits were cold, white as snow and were hard. No fluffy warm biscuits here. And the bill came to $50.00?!?! with tip $60.00 was way to much for this sub par breakfast. We will not be back. read more

First time eating here today. It was excellent. I had bacon benedict - all cooked perfect. My sister had scrambled eggs with blueberry pancake. The pancake was huge. She said her food was great. As far as food goes I don't think you can mess up breakfast, as far as ambience it's a bit overcrowding with Christmas and new year posted themes in Feb. As far location it's the only breakfast within 1-1.5 mi if you're really hungry that all you got. Services is a bit slow, staff is a bit miserable low key but they try right. Watch the chef he might rub/scratch or wipe himself then bare handle your toast. At this point I bet your far too hungry and committed so go ahead be my guess, I personally would not suggest. read more

I've only had the biscuits and gravy with ground yummy bits of meat, grits, eggs over easy with cheese and corn beef hash. Twice! First time I used Grubhub and the second time I went there. Tried My Three Sons for the first time this morning. It is your standard, no frills diner. Food is fresh and hot. Service is fast and friendly. We went early to beat the rush. My husband had the eggs benny and he said the hollandaise was perfect. I had a meat lover's omelette. I rate a place by their omelets. So many places over cook the eggs and they are so dry, but this one was excellent! My only critique would be to add some more home fries. They were seasoned well but very skimpy. I am sure they are trying to cut costs and keep prices down but I would rather pay a little more and have a full plate. My experience was quite awful. The waitress was decent. She was on her phone a lot, but she was decently attentive. Now as for sanitary I would say it's far from it. It's a diner, I get that...but using the same rag to wipe every table and not use any kind of sanitizer is just gross. The cook was constantly touching his face, wiping his hands off on his shirt and I don't think I saw him wash his hands once. I also found him quite rude. I ordered the cinnamon pancakes, they were pretty good but I found it hard to enjoy when I could see that it was prepared with unwashed hands... try at your own risk! read more

My family goes out for Breakfast every Sunday after church. Saw this was in Brockton and had seen it come up somewhere on line so we thought we would give it a try. It was nothing special. Staff was mildly pleasant but not over friendly. Menus says it was established in 2021, but the place looks like it hasn't been updated or painted in quite a long time. Lots of sports pictures on the the walls, but everything looked really dated. If they took over another place, they should have spent some money sprucing it up a bit. My husband got the Irish skillet and the the corned beef was supposed to have been home made. It look like it went through a sausage grinder multiple times...it was barely identifiable as corned beef, just crumbles. Our other meals, were just okay. Glad we tried it, but we probably won't be back. read more

When I got to the restaurant to ask for my food I greeted the person with a happy and my name and they looked at me with an angry glare. She returned from the kitchen with my food without saying a word. Only to get home to fine one of the three breakfasts that I paid $50 not in the bags. Always been one on my favorite places and having small kids we always sit at a table. Today I went with a friend and we sat at the counter and could see the food being made. I was little horrified at the way things are handled there. A lot of hands on which normally I would be OK with but never once saw anybody wash their hands. The same rag cleans everything and hands. That aside the food is very good. I ordered a sandwich and had to wait for my fries which again not terrible. Only to find out at the end that I was charged an extra $3 for the French fries, which again is acceptable because it was written on the menu. I just did not read it till after. I was also charged $1.25 for TAP WATER! Over all this visit made sure I won't be back. I got a Ruben, fries and water that cost me $21.25. read more

Jo's Best is one of our favorite restaurants. Recently during covid Jo's has tried something new. Joe is making turkey pot pies. Let me tell you, we have order pies for a few places, I won't mention any names because they have excellent quality pies all so. Joe goes above and beyond your typical turkey pies. I've been coming here for years and everyone is always so friendly. The service is always fast and efficient. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The food is cheap for the portions. Anyone who says they give "small portions" had to be kidding themselves. It may look small at first if you're hungry... but once you finish your meal to the last bite you end up full and satisfied! I highly recommend the Corned Beef Hash Skillet. They have the best hash around! I've only been swinging by here once a week recently, and already they remember me and even my order sometimes. It's a very refreshing breakfast / diner place. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have a lot of space. Coming here alone or in small groups works the best. If you're hungry though, they do have a drive-thru so you can pick up your food! (Not sure if you can order ahead, I'd assume so? Either way, not having to get out of your car for quality breakfast food makes this a landmark in itself.) I've read reviews about "past management" vs "new management" and I'm unsure what people mean... considering the same guy has owned it ever since. (Or the same people at least. My first time there and I was very disappointed. I got served a glass of apple juice that was warm and waited 15 minutes after ordering. When I asked them to check on my order, I was told that it hadn't been started yet and it was two tickets away from starting. Cancelled the order and had to pay $3 for a warm glass of juice. Was told its Sunday and they're busy. I understand that Sunday is a busy day for breakfast, but once I'm seated and have ordered any other place can get me my order within 15 minutes. I went to school right around the corner and never tried this place. I was up in the area visiting a friend and Yelp said this place was nearby so we tried. I am sad I just found it now instead of when I was at school. It is a small little family run bakery/breakfast and lunch place. I got an omelets and home fries with a side of hash. The omelet was fluffy and filled with deliciousness. The home fries were homemade and slightly crispy. I think the most impressive thing was the homemade hash. The corn beef was perfectly grounded and there was just enough seasoning which was topped off by being cooked on the grill. If you like hash I would highly recommend getting it!! Overall it was fast, the service was great, the food was delicious, and it was not overpriced. If you are in the Brockton/Easton area definitely give this place a shot! read more

Went here on Saturday for breakfast and what a little hole in the wall gem! Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles, just good breakfast that was done just right. This place knows how to keep the staples simple and not try and impress anyone with anything over the top. Sitting at the counter watching Jo do his work is mesmerizing, he cooks with such ease and efficiency, running the only griddle in the place by himself, cooking each meal for his patrons personally.
