My friends and I were out on another leg of the Lord of the Rings RI Food Fight and we began our day here. The place is cute and cozy, we were sat right away. Our server was very friendly and helped us decide what kinds of wings we wanted. She was awesome, I wish I could remember her name. We had two coupons so we chose the spicy peach winter berry wings and the hot honey wings. With lots of blue cheese dressing on the side! We were really impressed with the wings here. Nice and crispy, and both sauces were very good. I liked the spicy peach better but all the wings were eaten quickly. Most of the group lives in the area and were pleased to see the great breakfast and lunch options available every day, all day. We will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings!

The Hamilton Diner is an amazing spot! I had no idea how good it would be, until I walked in. I came because they are on the list for RI Food Fights best sandwich RI. The choices were a southern chicken and waffles breakfast sandwich or another very fancy sounding sandwich. Super fancy and impressive. When it came out, I was blown away. It was massive and it was yummy! I sat at their little coffee bar and Sam and Jacob took really great care of me! Sam had a hot chocolate in my hands in a matter of moments, and then I saw one of their specialty lattes (the little Debbie cake Xmas one) and wow! I will def be back! It looks like a show stopper! Ari, the owner, personally came over and asked about my experience. I told him the service had been great, the food and drink hot and yummy, and the customers personable and wonderful. Ari told me the restaurant was named after his grandparents hotel in upstate New York. I loved how he chose that as the inspiration for the places name. This was such a great find and wonderful experience. I highly suggest you check it out!

Honestly for a diner I was shocked how good this was. The waitress was super kind, friendly loved some good banter. Place was busy! Love to see a local business thrive. Little bit old on the inside, but the real impressive part was the food. The potato skin Benedict, should be on every diner menu I go to. I will forever think about this experience it was that good and that filing! The blt was massive! Look at all that turkey! The chicken wings weren't bad, not my fave the cranberry type sauce was a bit odd but definitely different. Stick to the diner food guys it's a great little spot in seekonk!

Really friendly staff. I had a special BBQ brisket sandwich with bacon, cheese, & fried eggs on a biscuit. It was really good! The cold brew did its job and my waitress helped me decide on peppermint mocha. I haven't had that flavor in years! Cozy, comforting, glad I was able to take a moment with myself and sink into the booth.

There was a 10 minute wait for a table, but we got seats at the bar immediately. In the waiting area they had a little kids play pen, which seemed like a nice touch. Sitting at the bar by the front, it was also neat to see the hostess and waitresses welcoming some guests by name, or stopping by to say hi to someone while they were waiting for a table. It was our first time there, but it's clearly a regular spot for many! We got a veggie and cheese omelette and the potato skin Benedict. Omelette was large and the cheese was generous! The potato skin Benedict was great too, it's the loaded-potato-skins-meets-bene and it's just as good as you're picturing. Ari, the owner, came out of the kitchen to introduce himself and check in a few minutes after the food arrived, another nice touch. It's a bit farther drive than our usual breakfast spots but I'm glad we gave it a try, it may be our new go-to!

Wow! This place really gets it. You can tell by the clientele that everyone enjoys coming here. You've got the older crowd that likes the classic breakfast choices, but you also have a younger crowd that comes in for the creative specials like the Barbacoa Benedict and the eggnog latte. These are the two items I had, and they were out of this world. The place is super casual, but very cute. The waitress was very inviting and encouraged us to come back and try some of the other specials that they've had before. I'm looking forward to having their sausage gravy! She raved about it.

Came for the biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs and home fries with onions and peppers. All the food was good I really like the fact they mix the onions and peppers in the potatoes and not just place them on top. Our waitress was Ashley and she was very pleasant and helpful. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Even the owner stopped and the table to check up on us to make sure everything was good. This is a very cool restaurant to have breakfast at. The ambiance here is very casual and the service and food here is amazing not the franchise place the servers you quickly everything here is personable and friendly. I will be back again!!!

    Hamilton Kitchen Sink (takeout)

I was staying in Barrington, RI and one day I ordered some breakfast via Doordash. Hamilton Diner showed up and it looked like it had a decent price. I ordered the Hamilton Kitchen Sink. What's in it? What's not in it? Pancakes topped with eggs, sausages, bacon and gravy. The portion size for takeout was pretty good relative to the price. The Hamilton Kitchen Sink is by no means a "light breakfast" but I I enjoyed it, bringing together a lot of flavors from classic diner food. I can't comment on anything about the physical diner, just that my order seemed to be fulfilled in a timely manner. If I'm in the area again, maybe I'll try eatting in there.

One more trip here in the books. Had the chicken orzo soup and mushroom burger. Soup very good fresh, tasty maybe a little salty. The burger was so good I didn't get a picture. I was almost done with it when I remembered. My mom and sister also enjoyed their choices. The service was great, owner came to make sure everything was goods. Very layers back vibe.

This was probably the best breakfast we've ever had on the East Coast! Portions were HUGE, the home fries were perfection! I knew it was going to be great when they said they had EGG NOG LATTES!! We are from CA and were fascinated that they offered baked beans instead of home fries. We asked to try a small sample and they generously obliged. Sweet but also savory and smoky too. I get why baked beans are a thing in Massachusetts! Such a warm, local, hometown vibe here where everyone is so incredibly friendly and kind. Our wonderful waitress was Jessica and she was delightful! We loved her Eastern accent!

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

They have a daily menu, and I've had some friends suggest this place as their favorite restaurant. We parked blocks away due to the lack of adequate parking. Once we walked in, we were greeted with pleasant smiles from the staff. The menu was short, which we attributed to a focus on quality. We ordered a French onion dip and a littleneck entree as an app for the table. We were served with lukewarm water, neither cold nor hot. The apostle John might have been somewhat disappointed (Rev 3:16). The dip was decent but was somewhat lacking in great onion flavor. But nothing to complain about. The little necks were served in a small bowl and lacked a bit of salt. Rather pricey for $26, but this place charges $6 just for bread and butter, so maybe it's just inflation? Enter the entrees. They apparently were short on chicken legs so they asked to substitute chicken breast. Two of us got burgers. First the $20 burgers, which were served with an aioli with no offer of ketchup or other condiments. In short, both burgers were terrible. Far worse than we make at home. It's always a disappointment when you realize you're paying all this extra for food you can make better at home. The buns were shockingly flat, like someone smashed them by hand. Or in a McDonald's box. Come to think of it, the flavor was similar, though overall the hamburger was somewhat bitter, salty and lacked an appetizing flavor. Wow. We all agreed they were terrible. The fries were also burnt and over salted. My daughter quit on her $30 chicken, so I tried it. The sauce wasn't bad, and it was served with a decent brocollini. But the chicken was some of the driest I've had in a restaurant, with no crisp skin and a uniformly poor texture. No wonder no one finished their entrees. And I hate wasting food. So, as much as we would have wanted to give this place a great rating, we just won't be back. The service, although with a smile, was slow and terrible. Our candle burnt out in the middle of dinner. It was never relit. Our glasses were empty halfway through dinner. No refills on the tepid water. The entrees took an hour and a half before they came out (we were warned the chicken could take 30 min). Generally a very disappointing experience. Hard to explain the rave reviews but our Saturday dinner was a sad bust. The cold wet madeleines they provided in a doggie bag didn't do anything to help. Oh well. Hope y'all have a better experience if you go here.

We were having a lovely dinner in Warren and stopped into Bywater for a quick after-dinner drink. It was a bit cooler out but since they had no seats in the extremely limited bar area, we took the plunge and sat outside near their fire pits. They did not have many wines to choose from BTG which was disappointing. The one I had which was Cinsault was just ok. I had to dump out most of it since I did not enjoy it but that was my fault since sampling it I thought I liked it. My friend had the bartender make her a cocktail with grapefruit since they did not have pineapple. She was looking for a French martini but seemed to enjoy what they made her. My husband's espresso martini was very good I thought and light but could've used some bailey's. We already had dessert so we did not plan on anything else but I know I am interested in returning for dinner. The restaurant is very small inside but I loved the warm lights and decor. It was a very sexy and attractive vibe! If you are ever in Warren I highly recommend coming here for either drinks, dinner, or both. Dress warm if you plan on heading outside to sit near the fire...it does not give off that much heat! Cheers!

We started with two orders of calamari for the table. I'm vegan, so I didn't try it, but the others each took a couple of bites and immediately lost interest--it was that underwhelming. Both plates were essentially untouched and eventually cleared away. We didn't request a refund, but it was disappointing to see food go to waste. I ordered the beet salad, which sounded promising but ended up being extremely bland. The greens looked tired and wilted, so I mostly picked at the beets just to have something to eat. At our table, the lobster eggs Benedict was described as overcooked, and the waffles ordered by two guests were surprisingly poor--more like something out of a toaster than a proper brunch dish. I also ordered a fruit plate, which was another letdown. Some pieces still had rind attached, and overall the fruit was hard and not very enjoyable. To top it off, $4.50 for iced tea that wasn't even good felt excessive. On a positive note, our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried to accommodate my vegan preferences, which I appreciated. However, the person who delivered the food came across as dismissive and not particularly welcoming. Overall, the experience didn't match the expectations for the price, and I hope the restaurant takes a closer look at food quality and consistency

Benjamin's Easter Buffet 2025…read more I don't normally leave bad reviews but this felt necessary. Let me paint you a picture of Easter at Benjamin's: My family of 9 adults had a reservation for their 3pm seating. When we arrived a little before 3, we had to wait in a line that was out the door of the restaurant and down a long hotel hallway. We were pretty far down, and as we came in people were wishing us luck or calling other restaurants to see if they could go there instead. It was like being on the RMS Titanic- a foreboding sense of inevitable danger ahead. We were worried about our 3 elderly family members being able to stand in line, but luckily the line started moving after 10 minutes or so. When my party got to the front, we were seated. They did not ask if we had a reservation- just led us to a table. Half our group was cut off by another party that just arrived, claiming they had priority because they had a reservation. Hah! So did everyone else in that line but okay. Anyway, the rest of our party joined us, our waiter brought out 2 carafes of water, and told us his tables would be going first. He felt really bad for the customers, you could tell. We asked him about the food they ran out of as people were muttering about that in line. He said they were out of garden salad and turkey (because they dropped it, apparently. Huh.) but they were also out of bread rolls. If you're going to have three buffet seatings- have food for all three. So the buffet itself was outside the dining room. They had opened at least one other banquet hall at the hotel to fit people, so they were all coming toward this buffet table. Luckily, we were first in line. There were three servers at the buffet for 11 trays of food so it took forever. The scrambled eggs looked awful- very dry. No one piece of bacon looked like it was cooked the same- some of mine were crispy some were chewy. Sausage was fine. They gave you two pieces of each. Stingy! One of my two French toast sticks was hard as a rock. Potatoes were okay. I went to get coffee at the next table and Oop! There wasn't enough to fill a cup in the one canister on the table. No one seemed to be in a rush to bring out more though. The dessert table had some danishes and another tray of blondie crumbs. While eating this first plate, someone finally came around to ask what the name of our reservation was. Better late than never! Our waiter brought us a whole coffee pot because he knew we didn't get any, complete with fresh cream and sugars. After finishing our first plates, some of us headed back to the buffet for round 2. But lo and behold the line was back around the corner! A family friend dining in another section of the restaurant told us that at this point, they had only just received water. Yikes! We did not want to wait in line, so we waited at our table for a bit. Some of us never even returned to the buffet table. A few of us did head back now that the line had died down. I set a timer; it took 14 minutes and 43 seconds from the time I entered the line until I was back at my table. When you reached the buffet area, they had now diverted the line to start at the ham carving table rather than the eggs, so the feng shui was even worse than before, with the line now stretching across the small buffet area. This time, I got the lunch offerings. The ham was alright. The mashed potatoes were incredibly salty. The carrots were mushy on the outside but hard on the inside. The scrod was fine and the penne was fine. There was a welcome addition to brownies at the dessert table. We could've paid extra for a better dessert selection off the menu though. We were not as wise as our fellow diners who complained and got comped, so my elderly grandfather who was paying for our meal paid full price for this, at $35 per person. Oh, and they didn't tell us about the credit card processing fee, costing an extra $10. Thank you to our waiter who tried to make this doomed experience a little better! Suffice to say, we will not be returning to Benjamin's.
