First off, the good stuff... Duck donuts has our favorite ever egg sandwich. It is delectable. Now the other stuff... my husband and i were eating our egg sandwiches this afternoon. A father and his 2 children came in. He left his daughter, who I assume was somewhere on the spectrum alone at a table, while he and his son spent at least 10-15 minutes at a kiosk. I, too, have a child with Autism, so I had empathy as long as I'm could. His daughter made sounds (ticks?) that got louder and louder. He didn't go to her or even look at her once. She, at one point, shook her hair repeatedly. Still nothing. By this point, dad was in another part of the store and on the phone. My meal was ruined... I went up to the man and asked him to please pay attention to his daughter. The owner glared at me, and the father yelled at me. I will never go back there. Ever. read more

Freshly made donuts and the toppings added while hot? Served warm? YES! It's not what I grew up. I am a Dunkin bred child. I didn't know donuts could be warm until a few years ago I stopped at a Southern Duck Donuts and was blown away! This time I knew what I was in for. Of course eating it as soon as you buy it is 100% the proper way to eat a Duck donut. I did a 6 pack and I did nibble on one immediately and took the rest home to my family. No front runner for flavor this time, but it's just all about being warm and gooey. read more

Well this was a delight. There was a large variety of delicious sounding donuts. We looked through the regular doughnuts, and the seasonal doughnuts and got two seasonal doughnuts - one apple one chocolate. We used the kiosk to order. I found the shape of the store a little awkward, It's hard to see the menu and the counter is inset so if there are mulitple groups you kind of get in each others way. So the kiosk was welcome. We were thrilled that they come out nice and warm! The apple compote was soo good. The chocolate was nice. the doughnuts were soft and lovely. Enjoyed the cute ducks decor and for sale. The Bathroom was clean. I DO wish the utensils were in cups that didn't nearly force you to touch the eating end of them to get them out - because utensils are a must. A Great place for a quick treat - but you might be more comfortable taking it home - where you can use your own utensils! Also there is not a lot of seating. Fortunately - the doughnuts come in a cute box with reheating instructions!!! read more

The good: freshly made, still hot/warm donut with many flavors on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Despite them being overly sweet as all donuts are, they are worth the occasional splurge. The bad: wait can be long at peak times. Kiosk orders don't include seasonal flavors (only basics), but it is a time saver. The ugly: poor girl working the shift was stuck at the counter ON HER OWN handling 15-20 tickets. Where is management?? You know it is peak time, why not get another pair of hands on deck?? HUGEEE kudos to Maria (aka the poor girl, everyone there felt it). She grinds it with speed and accuracy, yet still manages to wear a smile as she hands over the orders, even apologizes for the wait. (Seriously, the one time I don't regret tipping counter service. She better gets all of the tips that day.) If she hasn't quit yet being stuck with such horrible shifts, this girl definitely deserves a raise. (The half hour we were there, I would have recognized the owners seeing their videos on repeat. Upon our departure, the mom owner came back with her two kids and started to help. I get it, it was probably lunch time, but they should not have left the poor girl alone to begin with.) read more

I'm going to start by saying I love that they sell rubber ducks. It's so stinkin' cute. Now to the donuts - I haven't been here in person (yet) but my husband picked up a dozen donuts. He said it was torture driving home with them because they smelled so good! I had a peanut butter marshmallow one and it was delicious! My husband says they're definitely better fresh right at the store but they didn't travel poorly. I love the concept - that they're all made to order! I want to take a drive out someday myself to compare. They're a pretty decent price, too - a dozen donuts for $22 & change. read more

Duck Donuts opened its first location in Massachusetts and now I wish there were more! LOCATION: Located in a busy area, there are plenty of parking spots available. There are just a few tables inside so it's your typical grab and go spot. There are bathrooms which is a huge bonus. They also sell rubber ducks too so definitely on theme! DONUTS: Tell me what's better than freshly made donuts to order? When you receive your order, it's warm and best to eat it right there and then unless you ordered a dozen! There are so many flavors to choose from and they're all pretty great! My favorites are the peanut butter paradise, French toast, and blueberry pancake. STAFF: So nice and fun! They're very helpful and quick with your order. read more

The customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly also. These are the best donuts around. Always fresh!

Yummy, made to order donuts that are freshly made in front of you. They are delicious and warm. The only drawback is how long it takes to make them. I ordered a dozen and they told me 10 minutes. 20 minutes later my order was done. It was worth the wait. My team loved them. I would come back but I would definitely preorder on their app. read more

Ok, been here few times and each time I go there... I swear I can eat this much sugar and not go into a blood sugar overload ... but the hot donut is tough to resist vs. a cold stale one sitting on shelf at Dunkin' Donuts... I now have a limit to just two for a visit ... I try to say they are small , but this time seem like they are making bigger. The options for flavors and icings are what keeps people coming back... I wish they would make a chocolate mix donut I. Addition to the regular vanilla or plain one ...no pics this time as the 2 donuts went quick read more

Duck doughnuts is a franchise chain. But there are not many. I *think* this may be their only Massachusetts location. All the donuts start as a basic cake donut and are decorated to order. So the good news is that they never run out of your favorite flavor. The bad news is that you have to wait for your doughnuts to be decorated. In the end - they were all delicious. I'll probably utilize online ordering next time to save the wait at pick up. read more

My new favorite donut shop. This place is just amazing and a great place to bring kids. Mainly takeout but a few small tables You choose the donut you want "designed" the choices are endless; choose from their many options from pictures or create your own. Place your order and watch the magic happen. You watch as they drop the batter into the hot fryer. As soon as it comes out it goes to the person who does the decorating. Everything from different flavored glazes, to coconut, maple glaze and bacon, jelly, powdered sugar, Graham cracker crumbs. You name it they have it Then they pack it up and hand it to you piping hot. Bite into it and the steam comes out. Crispy outside and so soft and fluffy inside. OMG SOOOOO GOOOOD read more

First time trying. 10:43an came in and ordered a breakfast sandwich plan donut and bacon & egg cheese. The donut was light the egg was fine the bacon was cooked perfectly and was crispy, it was delicious! Also got a blueberry pancake donut maple glaze and powered sugar on it! Fresh light sweet but not overly sweet and very tasty! The staff was friendly and welcoming! A small amount of seats to seat if you want to eat inside. The place was very clean and nice looking! Omg why didn't I know about this little hidden Gem in Walpole? We tried this Duck Donuts for the first time and it was delicious. I got the maple drizzled Bacon galore donut. Now first let me tell you I Don't Eat Donuts, but my granddaughter wanted to try a peanut butter and fluff drizzle so she got me the bacon donut to surprise me and it was to die for. We took them to go and the bacon, so much Bacon made me want to taste it. (Sorry no pictures it was gobbled up). I'm so happy it's in Walpole, because that way I won't be tempted to make it a habit. I even thought the peanut butter & fluff was interesting, not my cup of tea though. If ever we get back for another one I promise to take a picture! It will as a cute place and great customer service also. You have to try this place for sure. Yummy read more

If you're looking for fresh, ready to order donuts, look no further than duck donuts in Walpole. This cute donut shop has a variety of flavors to choose from or you could even create your own. I ordered a dozen donuts from their kiosk, which was straight forward and even made a few custom donuts. There's a short wait since all of your donuts are made to order, but there's so many cute ducks to look at, merchandise, as well as watching the workers decorate your specific box of donuts. It's definitely a messy ordeal, but very fun to watch. The donuts are soft and pillowy and the different glazes add the flavors to please your palette. A great treat to get anytime of the week! read more

WELCOME to Massachusetts! I had my first Duck Donuts experience in San Antonio, TX, and what a treat I enjoy Ducks because you get your donuts made to order, and they are FRESH and hot! NOW, let's talk flavors. The combinations are unique and tasty. Did I mention you can watch them prepare your donuts as you wait!!!! Yes, you heard me. You get to watch the magic in the making they are new to the area and just opened today, 10/14 /23 . FEW of my favorites are the peanut butter paradise, bacon in the sun and yes they use fresh cooked bacon, they have a French toast that doesn't disappoint and many other seasonal flavors and they have a Halloween Assortment with great flavors. THE ONLY downside is that they are missing a lemon and key lime flavor . However, I hope that's next on the list! LET me add that the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the owner is also welcoming and friendly! WELCOME Duck Donuts! Happy to have you here!!! read more

There is a lot to love about this place. The donuts are amazing and it's a fun store with the ducks and the kiosk. I've always been a fan. But after today, I really fell in love with this business. I took my 4 year old son in to get a donut. He's loves getting a donut on the weekends. We grabbed our box when it was ready and my son picked it up. We were going 5 ft to the table and in that time he dropped the box and started balling his eyes out. I felt like a dummy for letting him hold it. I grabbed some napkins and started cleaning up. Meanwhile he is in tears and I'm trying to reassure him that I'll buy him another. Because again, I'm the dummy who let a 4 year old carry a box of donuts. During this, one of the staff came over and was talking to him saying it would be okay and that she would make more donuts. I didn't expect that. I was super greatful for them. I think my son was too upset to realize how nice of a gesture that was. She came back with the new box and a small ice cream. I was really taken back at how kind this person was. I wish I got her name because she deserves the recognition. But I have a strong feeling that most of the people there share her attitude. My son's tears eventually stopped and he happily ate his ice cream and warm fresh donuts. Thank you to the staff of Duck Donuts!! read more

Hot and delicious donuts consistently good I recommend the blueberry lemonade if it's in season

So apparently I'm missing out because I ordered these through Uber eats and didn't go In person to order them. I hear they taste better after being freshly made since they are "made to order". I WISH i would've known that! Haha. So this review is strictly just a delivery review. The donuts were good! Just good! Very cake like. Not the texture I was expecting, I'm going to be honest. The base of the donut is comparable to an old fashioned donut at dunks. The toppings are really what make the donut but even then, some toppings weren't as flavorful as others. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with super sweet frosting from dunks, but the frosting on some of these just didn't do it for me. Like their strawberry confetti donut, essentially this is a strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles. Did it beat dunks strawberry frosted for me? Hell no. But their maple bacon donut? Amazing!! So flavorful!! They were all good but only 2 of the 6 were a 10/10 for me. The rest were 8s and 7s. For the price, I wouldn't buy again if I'm being honest. Maybe if I took the drive and tried one warm and fresh, I'd think differently. I might be willing to drive there to try that maple bacon one fresh. Hmmmmm. read more
