Tous Les Jours - My birthday cake! Mango Cloud Cake - Bakeries Near Me - Natick, Massachusetts

Tous Les Jours is a French-Asian bakery offering a range of breads, plus sweet & savory baked goods & beverages. Tous Les Jours is located in the upper level, near Macy's in Natick Mall. On one side of the store, there are a few tables to sit down and enjoy your purchase. On the other side against the wall are display cases and a fridge of baked goods. I purchased a Honey Walnut Roll Cake for $28. It was very yummy. All baked goods that I've tried at Tous Les Jours have been really light and airy and you can't go wrong. read more

"There is a blue one who can't accept The green one for living with A fat one tryin' to be a skinny one Different strokes for different folks We got to live together I am everyday people. (Sly and the Family Stone) Who knew that Sly Stone was singing about Tous Les Jours? After all, those two French words translate into the English word "everyday". Anyway, Tous Les Jours sure is open every day inside the Natick Mall, up on the second floor not far from Macy's. They sell a big selection of French and Asian inspired cakes, breads and pastries, so expect to see delicacies like Baguettes, Croque Monsieur, Red Bean Bread, Honey Cheese Mochi Pancakes, Korean Cakes, Pain Au Chocolat, Chocolate Croissants, and Yuzu Pies. They also sell Grab and Go Sandwiches with various combinations of eggs, breakfast meats, tuna salad, chicken, ham, cheese and turkey. Coffees, teas and smoothies round out their menu. We plucked a nice Pain Au Chocolat ($4.50) from their case, deposited it on a tray and brought it to the register for purchase. Hats off to the cashier who spent a good fifteen minutes going back and forth in minute detail with a customer who asked a million questions about buying and customizing a birthday cake. She had a lot more patience than I would have had. read more

This location, inside Natick Mall, has pretty horrible service, especially towards the end of the day. Their pastries and drinks are good--understandable since they are a chain. The problem here is their horrible service. Their closing hours are random and way ahead of what is advertised on Yelp. On top of that, they just smile non-apologetically about the fact that they no longer serve drinks to customers. A customer to my right was being told by the cashier that "the store closes early because she lives 2 hours away and she wants to get home as soon as she can". Is this what acceptable service looks like nowadays? I would avoid this location in the last few hours of the mall operating hours--it's too variable. read more

Tous les Jours Natick is my go-to for celebrations! Their birthday cakes are premium, high-quality, and absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and never too sweet. Bought a PREMADE sandwich and while I was at the cashier I was having trouble with the tap and didn't realize it was on the tip screen. Cashier turned the machine around and clicked 10% tip without asking me and told me to pay. Why am I tipping you didn't do anything. read more

Great place for cakes, pastries, and drinks. I have tried many pastries, bread, and cakes from other locations that I enjoyed. I ordered an iced Ube latte from this location. The flavor was pretty good but definitely artificial and did turn my tongue purple after drinking. It did not come with espresso but would recommend adding espresso to it! I did not add it but I think it would be great with it. read more

Ube bread, Butter cream bread and Custard croissant were my takeaways from here. A very broad selection renaming from breads, savory options, macaroons, cakes and beverages. The bread is very soft and fluffy which is good. Worth a visit and located in Natick Mall. read more

It's good & surpasses most bakeries I've been to since I was in France 15 years ago. The croissants & cake slices (strawberry cloud & chocolate cloud) were outstanding. My daughter & I were a little taken aback by the giant globs of "butter cream" in what would have been a great loaf of fresh bread if the fatty, sugary concoction hadn't been piped into it with a heavy hand. Gross. Would definitely go back & just be careful that we don't buy anything with literally at least a cup of margarine in it. The ambience was clean but not a place I'd want to sit down in to eat. The staff was professional, polite and kind. The strawberry cloud cake slice was spectacular! read more

I've been to the Tous Les Jours Bakery in Burlington plenty of times, which was why when I saw this inside Natick Mall, I decided to go in. I like their selection of pastries and they make some of the best tasting cakes. Unfortunately, there was something I noticed post-quarantine, this place didn't enforce or follow social distancing guidelines. The line was against the pastry wall, so customers were cutting in and out to grab pastries, or contemplating while holding up the line. And because the line was squeezed into that area, everyone was inching up and breathing on one another. It was uncomfortable. Overall Service: The Burlington one has milk tea, so when I was next in line, I asked if they have it here, the staff gave me sass about it and told me to go to Kung Fu Tea. Alright dude, it was just a yes or no question. I didn't want Kung Fu Tea which is why I stopped by and they didn't have the menu anywhere else except behind the cashier. I'm all set with this location. read more

Looks like recently the reviews here have been very consistent where customer service is awful. And they are still holding strong to that. Overall experience here is a hot mess. The staff is very rude. You can tell right off the bat, the culture of the employees here is poor. They all seem miserable. We bought cake and we're not provided spoons to eat right away. We kindly requested for spoons and the workers paid no attention to us. I had to ask multiple times just for two spoons for my family. Is it too much to ask without giving me an attitude? read more

My family and I have loved this bakery for years but today I realized how messed up their customer service is. I bought a hot pre-made sandwich without realizing that it has been sitting inside the heated oven all day. The sandwich was basically so crispy on top that crumbs fell when I took a bite. It was gross. I requested to exchange it for anything and I was told that for exchanging food employees on duty would get in trouble so I would need to fill out a complaints form and provide them with my drivers license number which would then be evaluated to determine if it was really Tous Le Jous fault or not. I mean who's going to hand out license number like a flyer for a $5 sandwich? It was like applying for a loan or something. On top of that there was no one on duty who could help resolve such a minor issue. So please make sure you check everything throughly before you pay for it. read more

Tous Les Jours - Best customize cake !!!! - Bakeries Near Me - Natick, Massachusetts

The cake itself was good, albeit small for the price. However, the experience was soured by the online ordering. First of all, definitely not worth the price. I paid an extra $2 for the writing. There was no spot online to input what to write ON the cake. Who knew they'd write it on the cardboard. No point to paying the extra money. Then I also paid $5 for a crown. Without explanation, I thought that without adding that, the cake would not come with a crown. First time ordering a cake from any Tous Les Jours. No way to reach them because nobody picked up the phone. And there was no description. The cake comes with the crown as pictured. What the $5 was for was a paper half crown/tiara with colored garland/tinsel glued to it that a person would wear. The crown was made of cardboard and only covers the front of your head. It is held on by an elastic. Like I said, if you're looking for a cute cake that tastes good, by all means... but so not add anything on. The regular pastries and drinks there are good, I think I'll stick with those from now on. read more

I'm so offended by managment of this place. Instead of accepting your issues and improving them, they started falsely accusing me. If you looked at all these reviews that points out your problems. Go and fix them instead of pointing your fingers at me. Its bad enough you wrongfully accuse your customers, accept your faults and do something about it. All the time you used hiring fake yelpers and bad mouthing your customers. you should use that to train your staff, acknowledge your faults and improve customer service. I go to Natick mall alot but I won't be visiting this place because of your poor customer service and refulsal to acknowledge your wrong doing. read more

Pathetic customer service. The coffee was not made right (no coffee just milk) and when asked to repeat the staff was rude and angry. If there was a way to add a negative star I would add that. Ordered an ice coffee with light ice because I don't like paying $6.50 - which is ridiculous in itself - for a cup of ice and a few dips of coffee. They charged an extra $.50 for light ice. My all time favorite. My friend first introduced me to this place back in Kansas. It was this cute little bakery right behind my apartment. I adored it for its freshly baked goods and coffee. Especially the sweet treats are not on the extremely sweet spectrum like most of the desserts usually are here. It was just right for my pallets. I was bummed when I was leaving Kansas and moving to Massachusetts. But little did I know this was a chain and they had a couple of them here too. Although I feel the pandemic seems to have affected the menu and service here, especially with the hot bar no longer open (at least I haven't seen the hot bar open anytime). I'm glad though they still some of the goodies from the hot bar out with other baked goods too. My favorites include the croissants, croquettes (every single one of them), honey oat pancakes & the winter special lavender latte. Every single item on the menu is divine!!! read more

A nice Korean bakery if you're in the Natick Mall. My friend and I were Black Friday shopping when we saw that it had opened. For the rush that was there given the day, we were served relatively quickly and there was space for us to sit. The pastry selection was pretty extensive and the cakes looked delicious. My friend and I shared a medium matcha bingsoo (shaved ice) and the snow was pretty good to start, but got kind of hard to eat towards the end. The taste was yummy though with the toppings and ice cream to mix, it definitely had a very strong matcha flavor as well. The chocolate chai latte was delicious too, although the size wasn't necessarily worth the price I think (I got a large hot). Overall, if I'm at the Natick Mall again I wouldn't hesitate to go back to try some of their pastries or cakes and other drinks. read more

Had THE MOST AMAZING, UNIQUE, special, one-of-a-kind tea here! I'm so glad I finally decided to give them a try - I've been in and out of the bakery/cafe for a few years since living in Chicago - and just jump in on ordering from their extensive beverage menu. The atmosphere is very inviting, which is why I've gone in so many times (although leaving empty-handed). I can not put my finger on it. I think it's the various selection of items or the different displays. Or maybe the bread presentation...? TLJ is a testament to small things packing a big punch; (without a huge space) they have a selection of breads, pastries, desserts, snacks, small bites, pre-packaged sandwiches, chocolates, candy, gifts, cards, coffee beans, cakes (full & slices), macaroons, and I'm sure a few other things I missed. Now, back to the beverages! They also have bottled drinks in addition to their menu listed drinks that include a range of specialty coffee drinks, teas, hot cocoa, smoothies, frappes, and possibly another category I'm forgetting. You will find your typical macchiato, latte, americano, etc., in addition to flavors & pairings I've never heard or seen before (hello lavendar hot cocoa!), that will keep me coming back for the next few weeks. Today I tried a latte (which I've already forgotten the name of), that was explained to me as a kind of "Korean" tea. It starts with an "M," and is described on the menu as "multigrain"! A multigrain drinkable???!!! That's not a bread or bagel???! What???!!! After taking my first sip, I became a fan. It is DELICIOUS! Additionally I think many of the drinks and products are Korean-based or Asian-influenced, but I think the name is French... I'll ask about the cultural combination on my next visit. This Natick Mall location opens at 7AM!!! Also note, they have a printed menu that has a few drinks they no longer serve, so just FYI. Otherwise, go & enjoy! read more

Owner/manager is very rude! My girlfriend and I went there for lunch yesterday, with 5 kids in tow. All the tables were taken except a 4 top, so we dragged over the little table which had napkins & bakery sheets on it so all 7 of us could sit an eat. We moved the napkins & bakery sheets to the table near the recycling bin. Halfway through our lunch the manager came over and said "this table isn't for eating on." He just stood there & stared at us and proceeded to take the table away from us! I explained to him that there were not any tables at the time for us to sit at. He repeated that the table wasn't for us to use. My friend and I were dumbfounded. We spent over $60 to eat lunch there and he treated us like we were freeloaders! I gave 3 stars because the food is delish! read more

The dude that was working on the evening (around 8:00 pm) of Dec. 18 only wears one glove and touches your food with his bare hands and also is very lax with his mask, not at all Covid safe. My daughter went to this place a couple times, and both times he touched our food with his bare hands and his mask was slipping off and he didn't care. Also, not at all friendly. We will not go here again until he is gone. If you can see him on the picture below, circled in red, avoid this place while he is working there. All that said, if you go and he is not there (or if he is there and you don't care about catching covid), the pastries are excellent!!! I've been a fan of TOUS les JOURS since they first opened. Last week I placed an order for a custom birthday cake for the first time. Now, I have gotten custom cakes from other bakeries in the area that cost twice as much as TlJ charged. I was very loose with the instructions. Chocolate cloud cake, with strawberries. Mermaid theme birthday cake. Child name is Luna. Today I picked it up and oh my gosh. Slam dunk. Edible pearls. Gold leaf. Beautiful decorations. Chocolate pipetted name. Multi colored cream. Kids loved it and it was so delicious. If you've never tried a cloud cake, it isn't heavy or super duper sweet. It is very satisfying and I can eat a lot of it. read more

We got a Mango Cloud #3 for my son't birthday. But this one was a total disappointment for my family. We have been getting our birthday cakes from this Tous Les Jours many times in the past couple of years, we always loved their cakes. Althought the Mango cake still looked great, it wasn't that fresh. The mangos in the cake were certainly from the cans or jars. They didn't teast good and the texture was off. None of us finished our slice that day. They should have done a better job for a cake at $58. The customer service was a disappointment too. I was told different things on the phone and in store. The staff in the store were rough. Does not bring customers a good experience. We will not get our cakes from this place anymore! read more

Very disappointing with the $66 Mango Cloud 3 that I brought it last week at this Natick location (inside the Natick Mall). Cake was not fresh. It was dry, mango was brown color (not yellow color), bottom cake was burned, no cake cutting that uses to come with it's from other stores locations. I called them and they never pick up my calls.
