We bought a box of mixed chocolates as a gift for friend's dinner party. Everyone who tried one spat theirs out. They were awful, disgusting, nasty, and gross tasting. They had some bizarre chemical taste that lingered in the mouth for quite a while, and we all had to rinse with a drink to get rid of it. We are never buying chocolates from Dulce Leche again. This is an adorable place located in an industrial building in Ashland. Look for the A frame sign or you'll miss it. The coconut Dulce de Leche gelato was delicious. The perfect amount of sweet with a slight hint of salty and loaded with coconut. They have a variety of gelato choices as well as pastries, chocolate, coffee and ready to go meals. I am 69, and upon entering this shop, I felt like that proverbial kid in a candy shop. So many choices of chocolates, pastries, pies, cakes and gelato! I was in the hunt for gelato and candy like I experienced when visiting Rome. l came here because of a recommendation. l had a hard time making up my mind as to what to buy. l tried the coconut gelato and handmade chocolate with a nice cappuccino. I sampled the sourdough bread and bought puff pastry to go. All were excellent. l will definitely go back to try more, making sure l go when the bread comes out of the oven! read more

Very cute place! Super friendly guy named Jules. The place is a little hidden but easy enough to find. The cake slices were very good. My fav was the lemon raspberry and the carrot cake. The only complaint I have is that I got two carrot cake slices and one had an expiration for the next day and it was super stale. So just make sure you get one that's much fresher and not close to the expiration date. For the high price ($9 for that slice of cake) nothing should be stale tasting. Had their coconut chocolate gelato and it was okay. It was little too 'icy' for me but was still good. Would try other things there in the future. read more

1st visit: Ordered a grilled cheese - bread was flimsy not firmly toasted, barely had panini grill marks, skimpy on the cheese and frankly expensive for what I got. Recently tried again, ordering a cappuccino which was terrible + again overpriced. I live nearby and wanted to support this place but simply put bad quality and highly priced. I saw a sign for this when driving by so decided to stop in after my workout to grab breakfast. It's really big inside and I love the Tiffany blue walls. They have a lot of options for food and drink. There are different kinds of bottled beverages - water, sodas, teas, etc and even some prepared meals to go. They have baked pastries and a list of different paninis and even soups and salad. They also have coffee and espresso options. Then of course let me not forget to mention the many gelato flavors and tons of chocolates they have too! I didn't try any of them but they look so good! I got an iced mocha latte (wish it had been a bit stronger on the espresso) and a Prosciutto croissant (delicious!). I'd like to try it again maybe for lunch and a coffee. read more

This is the old school cake of your dreams, dense, rich cake chocolate flavor and simply the best buttercream ever. If you are a cake addict this is the one for you. I had an amazing experience here! The owner and head chef (I didn't catch his name) is such a nice person. He talked with me for about an hour all while assembling the boxes of truffles I was purchasing. The passion he has for his work is truly inspiring. The effort and thought he puts into his creations is clear, especially once you taste them. I've already told several family members and friends about this place.
