A very family friendly place to get great ice cream at a great value. I found Uhlmans in my last month of living in MA, I ended up getting hyper fixated on the soft serve and went back 8 times! The girlies who work the counter are all very nice and patient if you become overwhelmed with choice. All the flavors are made with real cream and the quality of the ice cream is amazing! For an outdoor place that serves sweet with high traffic (in the summer) it's very clean. A ton of photo opportunities on site and a great deal of places to sit in the shade.

Went for a Class trip to celebrate. Nice selection of different options. You can sample up to 3 flavors. Service very nice. I had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream medium. Different sizes available as well as toppings. Ambiance outside

Roads around here aren't very straightforward, but somehow I made it to Ulhman's and spotted their pink flag. Ulhman's the kind of ice cream stop where the workers are serving out of these sliding windows and the customers are all outdoors, exposed to the elements. But with parking available as well as picnic tables all along the perimeter, you don't have to sit in your car to enjoy your purchase unless you want to. An ATM is available for this cash only spot. My eye was caught by an ad for a 2024 seasonal treat - apple cider donut sundae $9. Tougas Farm cider donut with two scoops of ice cream and an apple topping. Mom just wanted a scoop of black raspberry, so I didn't try to talk her into sharing the sundae. But they were kind enough to allow me to take one of the two scoops from my treat and to serve it in a second cup, so we both got what we wanted.

Came here on a summer Saturday night and was not disappointed! The place is very cute. Plenty of parking and staff handling customers. This place offers a ton of flavors. A little overpriced but that's all ice cream stands these days. The ice cream is top qualify. Very rich and creamy! The cookie dough was lacking in actual cookie dough pieces so probably wouldn't get that flavor again but wouldn't stop me from coming back!

Wow so many options! Almost a bit overwhelming figuring out what you want lol I got the purple cow ice cream which I found out later was one of the sugar free options on the menu. The white chocolate chips were my favorite part of the ice cream! I did feel a little rushed by the people working there, I understand that it can be a bit overwhelming having to answer everyone's questions but I didn't know what every ice cream consisted of. I thought that Uhlman's was a really cute local ice cream place that had good quality ice cream. I just wish the board was a little easier to read and that the service was a little more patient.

I have only had free ice cream from their truck during a neighborhood event, but it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely check this place out so I can try a more extensive flavor list. I think I had the salted caramel flavor and I loved it. Texture was perfect as well.

You call this a full quart??? I don't!!!! When I contacted the owner to complain she sent me a nasty email filled with abusive language and profanity. Not only are my 6 qts skimpy they are not standard U.S. weights and measures quart size. A rip off at $12.00 ea.

I'm not much of an ice cream fan BUT this truck visited my school and ever since, I'm actively looking for their next location. I had the black raspberry and chocolate while my friends got the caramel and coffee Oreo. I had a little taste of each and they were nothing short of delicious. The texture was so silky and the flavors so well balanced. In each bite, you could actually taste the natural sweetness of the blackberry, the richness of the chocolate and the decadence of caramel. Even the coffee Oreo flavors blended so well while still being very distinct separately. I forgot to take a photo of the blackberry which was my favorite but it had a beautiful purple color that made the experience even more memorable. The servers were very fast, kind to help us choose from the menu and their suggestions were spot on. The truck was also quite clean and its colorful exterior was a lovely compliment to the colorful ice cream.

Finally had an Uhlman's ice cream! We tried last year, but the day we came there had to be at least 50 people in line waiting and I told my husband there was no way I was waiting in that line for an ice cream cone! This time we went early in the season and it was a cool day so we were able to walk right to the window to order. We got our ice cream cones and ate them in our nice warm car. They were delicious and if this ice cream stand was closer I would definitely add them to my favorite local ice cream stops.

Last week, during our annual cousin road trip in Massachusetts, we decided to make a little detour…read moreto a farm I had seen on TikTok. I knew our kids would absolutely love it, so we decided to stop by on Friday. When we arrived, we found out that tickets were required, and unfortunately, they were sold out online. One of the wonderful ladies at the ice cream truck suggested that we speak with the owner to see if there happened to be a cancellation, especially since we had traveled all the way from New Jersey. We spoke with the owner, and he kindly told us that if someone canceled, he would let us take their spot. Honestly, I didn't have much hope because there were seven of us! We decided to stick around and get some ice cream while we waited and I'm so glad we did! Their ice cream was AMAZING. The Cookie Monster was honestly one of the best I've ever had. While we were there, the kids got to see a cow with her baby, ducks, goats, and several other animals. They played, explored, and were genuinely having such a great time. Eventually, the owner's wife came over and let us know that unfortunately, there hadn't been any cancellations. But then something happened that truly touched our hearts. She knew from her husband that we had come all the way from New Jersey and wouldn't be able to come back another time, so she allowed our kids to feed some of the cows anyway without doing the ride, but from the gate. That small gesture meant SO much to us. She took the time to tell us about the cows and the other animals, answer our questions, and make our kids feel so welcome. It's not every day that you come across a business that goes out of its way to be this kind and accommodating, and it genuinely warmed my heart. We had such a fun experience, and the kids are still talking about it! If you're ever in the area, PLEASE go check them out. And definitely try the ice cream, even if you can't get tickets to the farm experience. It's absolutely worth the stop! Thank you for making our unexpected detour such a special memory.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience…read more I had read about the cow safari and thought it would be a great birthday gift for a close friend who loves cows. Before booking, I called to ask some questions and specifically mentioned that I have a service animal. The woman I spoke with assured me it wasn't an issue but suggested I call closer to the date as a reminder so they could accommodate us. This was in June, and I booked the tour for September 20th. We looked forward to it for months. Last week, I called again, as instructed, and was once more assured it wouldn't be a problem. This person also suggested I call on the day of the tour because it was fully booked and they wanted to ensure we had enough space. I said I appreciated the courtesy and would follow up. On the day of our tour, I called the number on my ticket confirmation three times. No one answered. On my third attempt, at 12:21 p.m., I left a detailed voicemail explaining that I was following up as instructed, identifying our tour, party size, and my phone number. I never received a response. We arrived at 2:45 p.m. for our 3:30 p.m. tour. At check-in, two staff members politely advised me come ten minutes early so we could board the wagon first. Everything was great, and we went to get ice cream. Then, while we were waiting in line, a man approached us and informed me that my service animal was not permitted. I initially thought there had been a misunderstanding, and explained that I had specifically asked about my service animal before purchasing tickets, had followed up the previous week, and had been repeatedly assured it wasn't an issue. His response? I should have followed up closer to the date. I reminded him that I had attempted to do exactly that earlier that afternoon, but no one had answered my calls or returned my voicemail. He had the gall to ask whether I had emailed them as well, as though it were my responsibility to compensate for their failure to answer the phone or respond to messages. My friend, who has experience in conflict resolution, tried to explain that my frustration stemmed from having spoken with four staff members on three separate occasions, without a single person indicating that the service animal would be an issue until ten minutes before boarding. The man claimed this was a "new" policy because dogs and cows had reacted to one another in the past. Fair enough, but that doesn't excuse the fact that I had gone above and beyond to communicate and had been given assurances every step of the way, all the way up to check in. He then contradicted himself, claiming the policy had been in place for some time. When my friend pointed out that this suggested a significant training failure, he insisted staff were aware and said he would "remind" them. I accompanied him, against his wishes, and witnessed the so-called reminder, which appeared to be a first notice, not a reinforcement of an established policy. He put his staff in an uncomfortable position and took no responsibility for how the situation had been handled. At no point did he offer a refund, alternative accommodation, or even a sincere apology. The result? Three hours of driving roundtrip, half a tank of gas, wasted time and money, and the embarrassment of having this happen in front of my friend, for whom this trip was supposed to be a birthday gift. I realize this complaint may not resonate with everyone, since most people won't find themselves in this position, and I am not allowed enough characters to go into all the detail of what took place. However, I've seen other complaints on other platforms also referencing this man's arrogant and combative behavior, and based on my own experience, I would not want to patron a business where customers are treated this way. There are plenty of other farms to visit and wagon rides to take, that are much more deserving of the business. We may not have gone on safari, but we definitely got to see a snake.

The attitudes of the servers were really salty and not very nice.. ice cream was fine. Just the service was bad. I was here about a month ago and right when you walk into the restaurant it reeked of raw sewage. It was absolutely disgusting. I have no idea why it would smell like that. Funny enough, though the ice cream sundae looked like they put more effort and love into it then just slapping a couple things together. Presentation is a big deal, especially when you're paying a lot for these big sundaes. Despite the smelly entranceway, I wanted to come back again for another amazing dessert. I was here with my mother on Wednesday and we both ordered Reese's peanut butter cup sundaes because those are our absolute favorites. The entranceway reeked of raw sewage once again, and periodically waiters were spraying for breeze to try to disguise the smell. It was nauseating to say the least. When we got our Sundays, there was barely any ice cream in the glass, more fudge peanut butter and whipped cream than anything else. Just looked like it was sloppily put together with one measly little Reese's cup on it. We were both very disappointed. I used to love going to all the different Friendlys when I was a child and it was something to look forward to. I don't think they do anything with any love or compassion in this restaurant at all. Whoever made our Sunday a month ago definitely cared about what the customers want. Everybody else here seems like they just want their paycheck. They definitely need to figure out what is going on with the raw sewage smell in the entryway though because it's disgusting. I think with proper management they could do a really good job fixing up the place retraining, the waiters and making the Sundays correctly. I plan to come back here towards the end of the month and I hope somebody sees this and make some dramatic changes and improvements.
