Stopped on a Sunday night with kids. We had soft serve cotton candy, blueberry cheesecake, grape nut and Cookie Monster flavors. All very good. It is cash only but they have an atm right out front. I thought it was a nice touch the server gave us more sturdy spoons for the hard ice cream and a "soft serve" spoon for the soft serve. We will be back. :) read more

Very sweet to me but still so yummy. The owners are so lovely and I hope I can support them forever. I normally get mint chocolate chip, superman, and Oreo on a banana split but she was so excited to offer so many different samples without me asking. My favorites are now apple pie and blueberry cheesecake. I am so sad they are closed for the season, I would eat so much of this even when it's snowing, especially with their outdoor tables and hand painted umbrellas. I could have given the business five stars, except that the area seems sketchy. The ice cream was really good, and the serving size was fine. The nice lady at the window was very quick and polite. Our ordering was delayed because the family ahead of us didn't have enough money to pay for the cones their kids were already licking, and promised the staff that they'd visit an ATM and return. I wonder if they ever did. While we were parked in the parking lot behind the business, eating our ice cream, an apparently drunk 40ish woman wearing highly revealing clothing approached our car and harangued us through the closed windows for a minute, before reeling around the corner. read more

Yooooooooooo. This is my favorite ice cream spot! And I just so happen to live less than 15 min away, walking. Everything they have is bomb, especially their soft serve.. My goal is to try every item at least once. It's hard to get anything besides a banana split. Absolutely heavenly. Staff: The guy who works there has always been alone when I walk in so it can take a bit of time to get your order but it is well worth it because he mixes some of the soft serve flavors fresh for each order. The owner and her husband are this adorable couple from Albania - it's just the two of them in the shop. They were so kind and attentive to our requests. There were flavors and flavors and more flavors! Sooo much choice! (Maybe too much - just kidding) we were so excited to get out of the house and get some ice cream. Soft serve is always fun because it makes me think of when I was little. They are fun flavors (like maple, cotton candy, death by chocolate, etc) and basic flavors (chocolate, vanilla)! I would recommend if you want to support local businesses. Especially now where so many mom & pop shops depend on us to help them stay open. The neighborhood gave me pause so I'd recommend getting your fun ice cream and eating it in the car. problem solved! read more

Enjoyed the soft serve and the hard ice cream. Would definitely return for it. Not amazing but good. The Big downfall was the ice cream sundae. The hot fudge was not, it was a chocolate syrup, so maybe call it that, and there was barely any on it to boot. Also not sure that's 100% real whipped cream. For maybe the same money, or just a little more, you can get better ingredients elsewhere in the Sundae department. read more

Not many places have flavored soft swerves so I was pleasantly surprise to find that Cool Licks had so many flavors! I absolutely love the cotton candy soft swerve I would come back. It was just what we needed for a hot blazing day. The couple who was working was also really sweet. A little bit pricey for $8 for two cones though! In the back they also have two benches that you can sit and enjoy with friends or family. read more

Tasty! Cute shop to sit in and enjoy a ice cream. I loved the bright decor and what appeared to be a family run business. Very friendly service. A ton of soft serve flavors! They also serve hard ice cream! Options for everyone. My only disappointment was they only serve Brownies with nuts. I ordered a Brownie sundae and wouldn't have known they had walnuts in them had they not asked if I wanted "whipped cream, nuts and cherry" on top. Had I not said, "no nuts, because of an allergy" there could have been a real problem. It's not their fault I have an allergy, but I'm sure I'm not the only one, so having a nut free option would be appreciated by more than just me. Their hard ice cream IS delicious, but tell me WHY Cool Licks, a small hard ice cream (1 scoop) is $3.50 & a medium (2 scoops) is $4.50???? Your prices went up from your opening by about 75% I can go to the grocery store & get the same or better ice cream for cheaper!!! I like to support small businesses but I feel like your taking advantage of your customers. Adjust your overhead costs & bring your prices to a point that ALL your local customers can afford your business! Do you actually need all those flavors or types of ice cream? Do the math! What is best for your company! Will you be around in the next 5yrs with those prices? I doubt it with those prices in that neighborhood!!! read more

Great place and service but bad location. I came here because Gibbys which is next to my home had a line that was too long on a hot day so I made the trip across town to try this place out. The owners are nice and sweet and the place is cute. The selection is small and they only take cash but prices are better than gibys. read more
