    Banana Split!
    Tiffany Rae T.

If you're looking for a relaxing place to have a treat, this is your place. My family visiting from Texas (and myself) headed down Sawyer Hill Rd. for a sunset, but decided to get some ice cream at Berlin Farms. We were told about it by a local and took their advice. It's an old farmstead from the 1860s, now family run. They specialise in raising traditional farm animals, and serve a few sweet treats. We had a yummy banana split, and everyone had their own things. Toasted coconut and cookie dough seemed to be the winners. We walked around on the grounds a bit, saw some lovely Goslings, a beautiful Frisiean Horse, and enjoyed the hilly evening views. There's some nice tables to sit and eat, a firepit that gets turned on around sunset, and overall a peaceful vibe. They sell farm fresh eggs, and during non-COVID times, have much more going on. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy the peace of the countryside.

I did expect to see Heidi at any moment...

Come for the creamy, delicious ice cream. Wander over yonder at the giant geese and other unique farm creatures around this longtime staple of rural Massachusetts backroads.

Came for ice cream. Gorgeous setting. Big white barn. White corrals. Duck pond. Horses. Beautiful stone walkways. Ice cream was meh. They were out of almost half the flavors. The coffee kahlua brownie was very bland. No coffee or kahlua flavor. And could barely find the brownies. Ordered kiddie cones. $3.50 each. They were definitely kiddie sized. When they say 1 scoop, they mean one perfectly round scoop. No extra.

The women at the window was really nice and patient with me. I ordered 5 milkshakes and she put each one in the freezer until she was finished... all the flavors we got were delicious.

    Hot dog special.

Their hotdog special is good! Included a drink. Great selection of ice cream flavors as well.

    Unicorn Sundae

The unicorn sundae here is so adorable! It's such a fun idea and the unicorn on top makes it all come together!

Wonderful homemade ice cream, fun and unique flavors. It's a small farm that has apple picking, blueberry picking, and your other local farm go-to's year-round. Easy to park, short (or no) line, and a friendly smile every time I go :)

I love Berlin Farms. Its my go to place for ice cream. Located on a quiet street in farm country. They use Richardson's ice cream. Which I love. Prices are cheap and the atmosphere is great. Grab your cup or cone and take a walk down to the ducks or over to the horses. Sit on bench and enjoy your ice cream as you overlook the rolling grass hills of the farm. Apple Cider doughnuts are to die for but they dont have them all the time. :( What many people dont know is they used to have a restaurant. I was there the other day and saw the sign up but it was closed in the winter. The store portion is now closed due to the bad economy. I hope they stay open. Its sad to see local business go under. Anyway, the restaurant is just a few small wooden tables and chairs. The farm owner/operator makes up your breakfast in the back...just for you. I would go for sunday breakfast and loved it. I never saw anyone else at the restaurant. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a quiet breakfast alone. It was great. Breakfast for 2 for $10. No wonder you are going out of business! I made sure to give her a good tip. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ECONOMY! Go here...

    Strawberry cheesecake ice cream

A beautiful farm setting to have the best summer ice cream! The ice cream is always so good with generous portions. They have lots of flavor selection too. The staff is so friendly and explain to us about their animals so kindly. It is family friendly with lots of nice places to sit as well and nice photos spots.

Love my Cotton Eye Joe (coffee + cookie dough ice cream + iced coffee), and the views on a clear day on Rt. 62 make me smile

Beautiful family owned apple orchard. A great, less busy/less commercial option for a nice family event.

Unfortunately, Berlin Farms Ice Cream changed vendors and it just isn't as good as it was with Bliss IC. A bit pricey.

This was a very cool experience. Even if the food and drinks weren't as good as they were this…read morewould be a fun experience. You arrive through the ice cream shop (I've been to the ice cream shop before and I had no idea that this was here) and you go to the back to an unmarked door by the restrooms. You flip the switch and the doorkeeper checks your id and you wait until there is a table. Once you go in, it is a small restaurant/bar. The focus is definitely on the alcohol. There are several interesting cocktails to try. I had the martini. It was served in a flask on ice. It was strong. My friend tried the Manhattan and she was very pleased by the flavor. We had the burger and shared the fries. Those were good but not the best I've ever had. But the concept of the fries was very good. My friends got the salmon dip and that was exciting. The deserts are mostly spiked too. The service was very good and I will be excited to come back again next time I'm In the area.

Having mixed feelings about this one. While we absolutely love the sister restaurant, this one…read moredidn't wow us as much. That being said, we still had a pleasant dinner and enjoyed our meal but I don't think we will be itching to return. The standout being the french fries-- tossed in a delicious truffle butter. We both enjoyed the ny strip-- I found it odd that you couldn't order it cooked to your liking. We had asked for our steak cooked medium and they "can only do medium rare" per the servers words. That felt a bit odd-- I cannot not understand the reasoning why. The flavor on the steak was delicious, the cream sauce outstanding, and the greens were a nice touch. I would not recommend the cacio de pepe -- that didn't feel like an authentic pasta rather overcooked mac and cheese. It was not what we were expecting. The other thing that fell a bit short was the service. Completely different than their sister rail trail, the service was cold. It felt as if we were a bother. Our dining experience was less than an hour, it was prompt service. Ambiance is nice, small seating, dark.
