Oh my goodness! The CRISPY BEEF TACO shredded lettuce, tomato, sour cream, yellow cheese, was simply delicious! The shell was very crispy! And the TRADITIONAL CARNITAS TACO orange, salsa verde, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, crema fresca, was delicious also!! My daughter got the QUESADILLA CON POLLO chicken tinga with yellow cheddar, cotija, and Traditional CarnitasTaco too! I had the homemade salsa and she got the one not so spicy. I love spicy food and it lived up to the name. A great place to get a $16 meal with a drink at lunch time. Ten stars.

Blanco was a great spot for an early dinner. Parking is going to be in the surrounding neighborhood, look at those signs to avoid parking tickets. There is also a parking garage nearby. Walked up with a party of 2 , seated immediately. Drinks were a Pepsi and a Rosa Bonita Margarita. Hot chips and delicious salsa were brought. Ordered chorizo queso too. Carnitas tacos were delicious and the enchiladas plate was filling. Service was excellent. I would come here again.

Great location and the food was terrific! Their margs were tasty but very expensive. Overall, would come back here again! Somehow I only took a photo of the combo platter... Have been to Blanco several times but most recently went over the holidays and wow! They had some of the most over the top (in a good way) holiday decor I saw all season. The patio is fully heated (which is where we sat) and enjoyed some seasonal drinks, as well as food from their usual menu. Great spot to go when you're craving a margarita and tacos!

Beautiful restaurant, similar vibes to Culinary Dropout next door! My friend and I came on a Tuesday for their all day happy hour and to celebrate her birthday! I enjoyed my chicken tortilla soup (chicken was really good) and my birria taco. That being said, the happy hour prices are still decently expensive at $7 a taco. The tacos are pretty filling though and I was full with 1 taco and the soup! My only note on the birria taco is the tortilla/outside is pretty thick, unlike other birria tacos I've had. It was tasty, just a little different from what we were expecting. The service was okay! We were at a table by the kitchen, a little out of the way, so it was a little slow for us to get waters to start, but after that they were quite attentive.

It was rather mid mostly because of the service. It was super slow and she rarely came to check on us The server even almost took my food before I was completely done or able to ask my co diners if they wanted some. I had the tortilla chicken soup which is actually the best I had in a while. I loved the design of the restaurant I want to try some drink flights next time

My first visit here. Had the mahi tacos with black beans and rice and they were excellent and portion size was more than adequate. They serve a nice variety of mixed drinks and beers. I was able to watch one of the games while dining on the patio. Service was wonderful and the place was clean. So, five stars, and I'll look forward to a future visit!

Really mellow dinner spot with great drinks and surprisingly great salsa. Whenever I grab Mexican food, I always expect subpar salsa but theirs is amazing! The person I was with also ordered queso but I couldn't stop eating the salsa which says a lot. I also got a chicken bowl and instead of beans I was able to get fajita peppers. It was yummy but what blew my socks off were the very fresh corn tortillas. I have never had a more fresh corn tortilla like that IN MY LIFE. I'll def have to stop by again when I'm in the area for salsa and tortillas.

Came here for a drink before a movie next-door and felt it was a great vibe. We sat at the bar on a Friday night and had no problem getting a spot. The bartender was nice, easy to get his attention and he made the drinks quickly, which was great since we were in a bit of a rush to make our movie showing. I got the papi's piña colada which was sweet and delicious, the toasted coconut shavings are really adding a depth of texture and the float on top giving it a sweet area finish. Much more elevated than your standard piña colada, except not frozen. My boyfriend had the frozen mango. Margarita, he would have wanted it to be a bit more spicy and less sweet, like the regular mango margarita, but it was still delicious nonetheless. The prices were not too crazy, and the place itself was cute. The seating at the bar was comfortable, which often is one of my biggest qualms with stools, so I will definitely come back again the next time I'm in the area and have some time to kill.

My friend and I came here for dinner. It's a nice restaurant with a lot of spacious seating. Although there was a mixup with our reservation, so we actually got seated about 20 minutes after. The front person seemed stressed. Anyways, we finally got seated and we got some chips and salsa. The salsa was actually thicker than most restaurants and it was really tasty. I also got the strawberry mandarin Agua Fresca and you can definitely taste the mandarin. I got the chicken fajitas for dinner and my friend. Let me taste her chicken burrito bowl. Both were good, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Overall, a good experience, besides waiting for our reservation.

I remember when Blanco landed in Denver a few years back. I was blown away by the beautiful build out and their dedication to revitalizing this part of town. Years later, it's grown into one of my favorite chain restaurants because the food, service and cocktails are consistently top notch! Our last visit solidified it being a go-to when in this part of town. 9+Co has plenty of options, albeit many chain-type places. Blanco (and their other concept, Culinary Dropout) have always separated themselves from the rest. *Don't miss the weekday happy hour (3-6pm) and all day on Tuesdays* WARM QUESO ($13) -- Guacamole, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo. We added Ground Beef ($3) and this elevated the already good queso into G R E A T queso. Chips were salted and perfectly crispy. The queso had the texture we all crave and love, and with the surrounding accoutrements we were devouring it faster than a race car at the Indy 500. TIGER SHRIMP FAJITAS ($23) -- Spicy Garlic Butter, Served with Caramelized Peppers & Onions, Elote, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo & Queso Blanco. Choice of Black or Charro Beans. I can't tell you the last time I ordered fajitas, but I'm really glad I ordered these. The amount of food alone was worth the price of admission. The shrimp were plump and juicy and had a great snap. The tortillas are made in house and you can absolutely taste the difference. Not to mention, my Cadillac Margarita, and even the salsa that came with the chips to begin the meal, were excellent. I literally have zero negatives at Blanco. Service is always spot on, and the vibes (whether indoors or on the patio) are always lively and fun. Impressed with this place since day one. No signs of slowing down. Check 'em out if you want a delicious meal in a trendy setting!

Omg!!! The food is soo good. We had the spicy shrimp ceviche, the corn... so tasty. We had the carne asada bowl, enchiladas, chicken fajita. Short ribs chimichangas!! The head chef ... Alex Powell!!! Delicious!!! Y'all come and eat some delicious food.

Blanco was ok! The food was ok and the mule was delicious. I wouldn't write them off, but with so many other options, I'm not sure they'd be my next first stop. The Great - The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice The Good - The meat of the fajitas was really well seasoned The Bad - The Salsa was very reminiscent of pasta sauce The Ugly - NA We stopped in here for a quick shared dinner. We weren't blown away in a good or bad way. We did enjoy the martini and mule and the meat on the Fajitas was yummy. The chips and salsa were just ok and the tortillas were underwhelming. The server was nice enough though!

It's absolutely authentic, but with an elevated menu that really delivers. We got the chip trio, but you almost wouldn't need it since they have a full salsa bar, including endless pico de gallo and sour cream. But the chips are thick and crunchy and delicious. I tried the taco de birria de chivo (goat) and was truly blown away. The meat is so tender and seasoned so well, you can taste the allspice in it, which is perfect for goat, and so unique to Mexican food. I also tried the al Pastor and the Carne Asada, both were also to die for. I love how they make the taco have a little bottom and give it three sides, to help us fit all the generous portion that they give. They also have several different Agua Fresca's, that you serve yourself and get unlimited refills, including Horchata. It's amazing. I've already come back another time since.

I started going when they were still operating out of their food truck, and honestly, watching them grow into a permanent restaurant feels like seeing your favorite underground band finally make it big... except instead of music, they're dropping cheesy taco masterpieces. The queso tacos are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way: crispy, cheesy, messy, and worth ruining at least one shirt over. And the consome? That stuff could heal emotional damage. It's rich, comforting, and somehow makes you immediately want "just one more taco" even when you're already full. Every time I'm in Denver, this place is mandatory. Not optional. Not "if there's time." Mandatory. My vacation itinerary basically starts with flights and ends with tacos. So happy to see Kike's getting the recognition they deserve. If you haven't been yet, prepare to have your standards permanently ruined for all other tacos.

Walk in casually as you go about your day on a sunny afternoon and have a quick Mexican food along…read morewith a refreshing Mexican beer kind of place is how I summarize this place. This long skinny establishment - not necessarily super spacious - can offer you a decent food that you can count on. You don't need anybody to go with - you can be a solo diner because this place is not intimidating in any way. It's that casual. I think this establishment was born in the old Stoney's Cantina space. Whether the place was huge enough to create two businesses (and thus La Loteria occupied half of it), I sort of saw some "remnant" of Stoney's was the impression that I got. Whatever I am correct on this or not, this casual Mex place is all about vivid pastel colored interior where red is mostly dominant. Intriguing murals on walls 360 degrees are quite impressive. Once you are inside, a huge arrow to direct the people to order to their left at the ordering counter. That ordering counter extends all the way where you'll see some bar seatings. The right side of it mostly has tables for small to large groups of people. Like I said, this place is not huge but at the same time, people don't stay long to dine; the turnover is quite quick in a way. The restaurant also gets many walk-in to-go order placers as well. I got me the Aztec Bowl for to-go. This dish is only $11 (as of early May of 2025) and is a vegetarian item. I consume a lot of vegetarian diet and yet my instinct loudly spoke to me to add some protein to it. Whether or not you can keep it non-meat to stay in the vegetarian zone, adding some protein to this dish is a must as if it was by itself, it would be a bit boring because it only has some greens and some slices of avocado. As the add-on, I got me the carne asada ($5.00) that comes with rice. Not bad.. I didn't eat it right after I got home; I meant to get it to eat it the next day which I did (this AM.) It was still fresh where nothing tasted stale. The carne asada was well-cooked with seasonings. In other words, it wasn't salty at all but held good flavors. Now on the receipt, I saw a charge of what's called "takeout service fee" which is 18%. I kind of assumed that this was mostly the mandatory gratuity. At the end of the card transaction, I remember that the different gratuity percentages were listed on the machine and they were quite small because of this fee. It'll be up to you to add more if you wish. Some people might complaint about this mandated system and yet I kind of understand that businesses nowadays must survive by navigating through the rising cost of living. As we have seen our favorite businesses disappear in the recent years, I am here to support them by whatever I could within my power. Whereas the parking on Broadway is a pain in the neck at any time of the day, if I think of a casual Mexican dining in the Baker neighborhood next time, I may stop by here. It's a good establishment to know.

Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.
