Yet another great experience at D'Corazon! Fast and friendly service. Excellent complimentary chips and salsa. Again, I love the burrito plate with the bean and chicharron burrito. Goes great with a skinny margarita! Warm and casual atmosphere. Noticed a bathroom like smell when entering the restaurant this visit which was off putting but didn't necessarily detract from the experience. Maybe it a cleaner they use?

Quick service, and conveniently located in Downtown Denver. The food was served very fast and flavors were good. The salsa had a nice kick and the chile used was very flavorful. Portions are a nice size.

Spicy salsa, strong drinks, and good vibes. I liked this place-- I'd come back! I was with a part of three. One of the three didn't really care for the food, and said, "I don't need to come back here." But I felt pretty opposite. The other was rather neutral. If you're in the area, and looking for good food, for a good price, go here! But I wouldn't say it's a destination.

I'm going to move this review down a star for lack of customer recognition. We've been coming here for years, Friday nights are popular for us and we often come with friends. We've found that despite our regular appearance, it's like we are new customers every time. All the staff are so polite and efficient but there is no attempt to connect or value repeat customers. We've started patronizing other local options and found that after 2-3 visits they recognize and acknowledge and engage us in a way that makes it feel like you are more than a 30 minute turn at a table. It feels like, "Hey neighbor, welcome back!" Last night was the least enjoyable experience we have had. Staff circle and circle and circle trying to turn tables and keep the flow going, to the point that it's distracting and not any fun any more to go there. It's very transactional. The manager was standing next to us staring while we were still eating trying to gauge how many more mouthfuls it would take for us to finish eating and vacate the table so they could usher another group inside. Our entire time in the restaurant was less than 45 minutes and we spent 15 minutes waiting to be sat. What they do well is deliver consistently good food delivered to your table in a flash. The staff rarely changes and they treat their staff to unusual benefits other restaurants don't offer. I appreciate all of this and that is ultimately what has fueled our continued patronage. However, it's time to spend our dollars where we are valued and welcomed because that feels good. I can get Mexican food at 1000 places in Denver, but being acknowledged as a human in this day and age is surprisingly rare. That's worth a star or two in my book.

Hard shell beef taco's with re fried beans and rice.

This wasn't my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised! I always have soft shell shrimp tacos, so this time I wanted "hard shell". Ordered the ground beef - got two large with great beans and rice. The rice was different in that it had peas in it. Really good flavor and the re-fried beans weren't "sticky"! Chips and salsa were good, chips were crispy and the salsa had a kick! The Margarita finished the meal - good, I could taste the Tequila - that hasn't happened anywhere lately! Busy Saturday night, but not loud, just "fun". Service was good and the overall cost for a table of eight was only $165.00. Had a few out door tables; will come here again. (if it's busy, there may be a wait, no reservations)

Classic Mexican style restaurant decor. Menu also classic old school , nothing fancy. Food was all very tasty! Fried ice cream was great ! Salsa was very spicy that came with the chips. Only thing we disliked was the queso dip. It wasn't very cheesy at all . Not sure what other ingredients were in the recipe. Not enough cheese for sure. Will definitely be back to try more options. Fajitas were the #1 hit on the table !

    Wife's I get leftovers!!!

Yunuan was the bomb .com!! Food was great carnitas was excellent.! The Cadillac margarita was great!

Overall, the food itself was really tasty - definitely authentic Mexican. The flavors were great, the salsa was fresh, and the chips were thin, crisp, and perfectly salted (just how I like them). They brought out chips and salsa right away, which I appreciated. However, when we asked for more chips, we were charged $5 for an extra basket. The server did mention there would be a charge, but I didn't expect it to be that high. Where things really fell short for me was the beef in my enchilada. It was extremely mushy, almost soupy, and that really threw me off. I also barely got any rice with my plate. The beans and the rest of the enchilada were good, though. I tried a bite of my fiancé's steak tacos, and personally, I found the texture off - the meat was soft and squishy and didn't have that classic steak flavor or bite. We ordered the house margaritas during happy hour, which were delicious and strong. The only issue was the confusion around happy hour itself, since the website mentioned it but there was nothing on the menu or in the restaurant indicating what the specials actually were. We also came on National Taco Day, which happened to fall on a Tuesday, and I'd read online that they offered Taco Tuesday specials. That was honestly the main reason we chose to dine here. When we arrived, there was no mention of it. The server explained that the only "special" was getting one free taco with a taco plate, but most of the taco plates only allowed hard shell tacos, so the only qualifying option was the Taco Especiales plate (which is what my fiancé ended up ordering). The menu itself felt a bit outdated, and I had to ask several clarifying questions just to understand how the "special" worked. Overall, while the food was tasty, authentic and had good flavor, but the meat quality was disappointing, and the unclear menu and lack of advertised specials made the experience frustrating. Also the restaurant had the faint smell of a public restroom, needless to say it was very off-putting. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Amazing and authentic!!! Chips and salsa super good too. Definitely will be back next time I come to Denver.

Still the best! Came here, ate outside. Service was amazing. Walked away $52 for dinner and drinks, two people including a tip. One of our favorite place to eat before Rockies or Nuggets game.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
