Thirsty . . . try one of these!

3 Margaritas - Denver, CO After a long day of work, we were looking for a place to grab a quick bite, have a couple of cold beers, and catch the NCAA Championship game. Staying in downtown Denver, there were plenty of options within walking distance, and we landed on 3 Margaritas. We arrived a bit late for a full dinner, so we kept it simple with appetizers and drinks. First off, every TV in the place was tuned to the Nuggets game--which makes sense given we're in Denver--but when we asked to switch one over to the championship game, the staff was quick to accommodate. Always appreciate that As for the food... it was just okay. The nachos were the highlight--loaded, flavorful, and definitely the best thing we had. On the flip side, the queso was a miss and not something I'd order again. The atmosphere had some energy, but the music was a bit loud, making it harder to fully relax and enjoy the game. Not terrible, but noticeable. That said, the menu looked pretty solid, and I'd be open to giving it another shot under different circumstances when we're not coming in late after a long day. Bottom line: A decent stop if you're in the area and craving Mexican food, but based on this visit alone, nothing stood out enough to make it a must-return spot. 3 stars--good, but room to improve.

I liked the margaritas and ceviche. Chips and salas were good too. Service was friendly. Lots of seating inside and outside.

Food, service and ambiance were good. I ate ceviche and had a large margaritas. Service was friendly and professional.

The wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. So we stopped here for some Mexican food. The atmosphere was cool. They had a live band playing. Our waitress was really nice. We ordered our drinks and food and it came out very fast a tacos were good. It was good place to eat. Was a little pricey for three tacos the chips and salsa were really good

Stopped by 3 Margaritas and tried the Seafood Enchiladas -- absolutely delicious! The shrimp and crab were fresh and flavorful, the sauce creamy and rich without being heavy. The rice was perfect -- light, fluffy, and full of flavor. I was dining solo, but the staff made me feel totally welcome -- friendly, attentive, and genuine from start to finish. Great food, great service, great vibe. I'll definitely be back!

The only good there is the service and the drinks. But what can you really expect from a tourist restaurant? I went in around 1pm for a quick bite and the place was basically empty so I sat at the bar, ordered the Sol de Oaxaca (very tasty) 7/10 and the guacamole. It came out very fast because the guacamole is premade, definitely not made fresh. 5/10. The chips were good. I ordered the mix ceviche which the bartender said was "fresh" - it's not. And it came out with a lot of big sloppily chopped carrots which...kinda weird. But it makes sense...they were trying to hide the texture of the frozen tilapia. The tilapia was grey and hard. Freshly thawed out was probably what he meant. 3/10 The second drink I got was the Carbon Negro. Tasty but I had so much ice in my drink that it was hard to drink. Whatever though...It was good but all the muddled fruit was trapped under the ice hahaha -still 7/10. Definitely won't be coming back for the food...maybe the drinks.

Stopped in for a snack and they have ceviche on the menu. Being from Texas, I was a little worried, but it was very good. Not traditional, but very good. They added carrots to it, threw me off for a bit, but added a nice crunchy texture. Service was just OK - sat at the bar and you typically expect better service there than at a table. Loud atmosphere, tVs behind the bar were small and hard to watch football on. Would definitely go back if I Denver and wanted Mexican food.

Bean burrito. They called it a chicken burrito.

Good service and a great Margarita but the food was not worth the money. I had a chipotle chicken burrito, at least that's what they called it. It was a bean burrito with a 'hint' of chicken. And the live band was horrible! They sounded like a broken record. I hope they have day jobs.

Came for cinco de mayo! Carlos was our server and he was amazing!! There was yummy food, live music & good vibe s

Service here is FANTASTIC -- there's an older gentleman who is so funny, charismatic and playful. We only had drinks when we came in but they were a hit across the table. I opted for the Mi Casa, the house original (no premade sour either -- made with oranges in house!) Great place for drinks!!

Mega and Gigante drink

I would give them a 10/5 if I could! Every time we go in the service is fantastic and the food/drinks are amazing.

I tried!

As a couple, we stopped in here for drinks before dinner elsewhere on a weeknight... They were moderately busy and even had a mariachi band, which sounded really good. Their menu of margaritas is quite legit, they even have three sizes. We chose the regular, lime margarita in their Gigante size, which is about 36 ounces and it's HUGE!! They even have a larger size than this! The drinks were pretty good and nicely strong too! Service was friendly. The venue is beautiful. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Definitely would return!!

I loved the poblano sauce on my enchilada and the red sauce on my chile relleno. There are so many choices in Denver for excellent food but I'm glad I came here. We were a large party but the service was very attentive. Live music and delicious margaritas. The chips needed more salt and the salsa on the table was only ok but that's a personal preference and everything else was delicioso!

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
