Oh my goodness! The CRISPY BEEF TACO shredded lettuce, tomato, sour cream, yellow cheese, was simply delicious! The shell was very crispy! And the TRADITIONAL CARNITAS TACO orange, salsa verde, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, crema fresca, was delicious also!! My daughter got the QUESADILLA CON POLLO chicken tinga with yellow cheddar, cotija, and Traditional CarnitasTaco too! I had the homemade salsa and she got the one not so spicy. I love spicy food and it lived up to the name. A great place to get a $16 meal with a drink at lunch time. Ten stars.

Blanco was a great spot for an early dinner. Parking is going to be in the surrounding neighborhood, look at those signs to avoid parking tickets. There is also a parking garage nearby. Walked up with a party of 2 , seated immediately. Drinks were a Pepsi and a Rosa Bonita Margarita. Hot chips and delicious salsa were brought. Ordered chorizo queso too. Carnitas tacos were delicious and the enchiladas plate was filling. Service was excellent. I would come here again.

Have been to Blanco several times but most recently went over the holidays and wow! They had some of the most over the top (in a good way) holiday decor I saw all season. The patio is fully heated (which is where we sat) and enjoyed some seasonal drinks, as well as food from their usual menu. Great spot to go when you're craving a margarita and tacos!

Great location and the food was terrific! Their margs were tasty but very expensive. Overall, would come back here again! Somehow I only took a photo of the combo platter... Birria taco and Chicken Tortilla Soup

Beautiful restaurant, similar vibes to Culinary Dropout next door! My friend and I came on a Tuesday for their all day happy hour and to celebrate her birthday! I enjoyed my chicken tortilla soup (chicken was really good) and my birria taco. That being said, the happy hour prices are still decently expensive at $7 a taco. The tacos are pretty filling though and I was full with 1 taco and the soup! My only note on the birria taco is the tortilla/outside is pretty thick, unlike other birria tacos I've had. It was tasty, just a little different from what we were expecting. The service was okay! We were at a table by the kitchen, a little out of the way, so it was a little slow for us to get waters to start, but after that they were quite attentive.

It was rather mid mostly because of the service. It was super slow and she rarely came to check on us The server even almost took my food before I was completely done or able to ask my co diners if they wanted some. I had the tortilla chicken soup which is actually the best I had in a while. I loved the design of the restaurant I want to try some drink flights next time

Mahi tacos. Excellent!

My first visit here. Had the mahi tacos with black beans and rice and they were excellent and portion size was more than adequate. They serve a nice variety of mixed drinks and beers. I was able to watch one of the games while dining on the patio. Service was wonderful and the place was clean. So, five stars, and I'll look forward to a future visit!

Really mellow dinner spot with great drinks and surprisingly great salsa. Whenever I grab Mexican food, I always expect subpar salsa but theirs is amazing! The person I was with also ordered queso but I couldn't stop eating the salsa which says a lot. I also got a chicken bowl and instead of beans I was able to get fajita peppers. It was yummy but what blew my socks off were the very fresh corn tortillas. I have never had a more fresh corn tortilla like that IN MY LIFE. I'll def have to stop by again when I'm in the area for salsa and tortillas.

Came here for a drink before a movie next-door and felt it was a great vibe. We sat at the bar on a Friday night and had no problem getting a spot. The bartender was nice, easy to get his attention and he made the drinks quickly, which was great since we were in a bit of a rush to make our movie showing. I got the papi's piña colada which was sweet and delicious, the toasted coconut shavings are really adding a depth of texture and the float on top giving it a sweet area finish. Much more elevated than your standard piña colada, except not frozen. My boyfriend had the frozen mango. Margarita, he would have wanted it to be a bit more spicy and less sweet, like the regular mango margarita, but it was still delicious nonetheless. The prices were not too crazy, and the place itself was cute. The seating at the bar was comfortable, which often is one of my biggest qualms with stools, so I will definitely come back again the next time I'm in the area and have some time to kill.

My friend and I came here for dinner. It's a nice restaurant with a lot of spacious seating. Although there was a mixup with our reservation, so we actually got seated about 20 minutes after. The front person seemed stressed. Anyways, we finally got seated and we got some chips and salsa. The salsa was actually thicker than most restaurants and it was really tasty. I also got the strawberry mandarin Agua Fresca and you can definitely taste the mandarin. I got the chicken fajitas for dinner and my friend. Let me taste her chicken burrito bowl. Both were good, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Overall, a good experience, besides waiting for our reservation.

Blanco was ok! The food was ok and the mule was delicious. I wouldn't write them off, but with so many other options, I'm not sure they'd be my next first stop. The Great - The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice The Good - The meat of the fajitas was really well seasoned The Bad - The Salsa was very reminiscent of pasta sauce The Ugly - NA We stopped in here for a quick shared dinner. We weren't blown away in a good or bad way. We did enjoy the martini and mule and the meat on the Fajitas was yummy. The chips and salsa were just ok and the tortillas were underwhelming. The server was nice enough though!

I remember when Blanco landed in Denver a few years back. I was blown away by the beautiful build out and their dedication to revitalizing this part of town. Years later, it's grown into one of my favorite chain restaurants because the food, service and cocktails are consistently top notch! Our last visit solidified it being a go-to when in this part of town. 9+Co has plenty of options, albeit many chain-type places. Blanco (and their other concept, Culinary Dropout) have always separated themselves from the rest. *Don't miss the weekday happy hour (3-6pm) and all day on Tuesdays* WARM QUESO ($13) -- Guacamole, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo. We added Ground Beef ($3) and this elevated the already good queso into G R E A T queso. Chips were salted and perfectly crispy. The queso had the texture we all crave and love, and with the surrounding accoutrements we were devouring it faster than a race car at the Indy 500. TIGER SHRIMP FAJITAS ($23) -- Spicy Garlic Butter, Served with Caramelized Peppers & Onions, Elote, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo & Queso Blanco. Choice of Black or Charro Beans. I can't tell you the last time I ordered fajitas, but I'm really glad I ordered these. The amount of food alone was worth the price of admission. The shrimp were plump and juicy and had a great snap. The tortillas are made in house and you can absolutely taste the difference. Not to mention, my Cadillac Margarita, and even the salsa that came with the chips to begin the meal, were excellent. I literally have zero negatives at Blanco. Service is always spot on, and the vibes (whether indoors or on the patio) are always lively and fun. Impressed with this place since day one. No signs of slowing down. Check 'em out if you want a delicious meal in a trendy setting!

Loved this place!! We had a big party but was very accommodating and did not take long at all. We sat outside and it was so perfect! Queso and guac for apps were perfection. I got the chicken tinga bowl which was good but the chimichanga looked amazing. So might get that next time!

Are they kid friendly?

Not too much. They really cater more to adults and have an extensive alcoholic drink menu. However, the food is good and can be shared.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Definitely a place to sit and eat there to enjoy the hot food. I'm originally from SoCal and a heavily populated Latinos with amazing tacos and food.. Taqueria La Familia passed the bar high!! We can't wait to come back and try other options and will update pictures and review then!

Venalonzo's is precisely the kind of establishment that rewards those willing to look past first impressions. The Centennial location is compact and the line can stretch, but do not let that deter you -- this kitchen operates with a velocity and precision that puts most full-service restaurants to shame. "Plates emerge from the kitchen in a near-constant stream -- the kind of efficiency that only comes from genuine mastery of the craft." The Quesabirria (order of 3) is the undisputed centerpiece of the menu and my standing order without exception. Crisp, cheese-lacquered tortillas enveloping deeply braised birria -- accompanied by a rich consommé for dipping -- it is the sort of dish that renders all other taco conversations irrelevant. A word on logistics: the Centennial location is ideally suited for a solo visit or a small group lunch -- it is my go-to for a quick, exceptional midday break. For larger parties or those who prefer a more relaxed setting, the Parker location offers considerably more space and seating without sacrificing quality Ratings: Food: 4.5/5 ; Quality: 3.5/5 ; Price: 3.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 ; Ambience: 2.5/5

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!
