Friday night 3/20/2025 Despite being busy we were able to grab a last minute reservation online, upon arrival we were promptly seated Party of 7. Server greeted us and did mention that there would be an automatic gratuity added since we were a "larger party" didn't say what the percentage was. Overall, he was personable and did a nice job. I'll just discuss the food that my wife and I had. Me a spicy Bloodmary with Tito's (not spicy and didn't taste the vodka).... Wife ordered the Citrus Basil Tini, really liked it. I also had an All American Beer which was good. We had the bread service with pesto and sun dried tomato butter. Which was excellent. My wife had the Shrimp and Scallop Udon Noodles, she said it was very good. I had the Surf and Turf Fried Rice, really salty, steak tips were perfectly cooked but the shrimp was way over cooked. Also a small portion compared the other meals at the table. When the bill came I noticed we had been doubled tipped on my check 50%, I mentioned it to server, he apologized for the mistake and changed it to 25%.... I generally tip 20-30% based on the service, but I think it's a bit bold of a restaurant to add a 25% automatic gratuity. I'm sure the staff like's it. Overall we were there for 2 hours, fortunately we were with good friends as the drinks, appetizers and food came out rather slowly.

St Augustine seems to have so many amazing restaurants, and BlackFly is no exception. We stopped by on a popular Saturday night, and we were quickly seated - I do recommend reservations online which made things easier. Our server Feliza had a great energy, quickly brought drinks, and made recommendations for entrees. I had the surf and turf fried rice which was indescribable in terms of how tasty it was. All of the items arrived fresh and very creatively prepared. We even enjoyed a peach cobbler ala mode for dessert. Pricing all-in ran about $60 per person, a great value considering the wonderful environment, excellent service, and amazing tasting food. While the building is nothing to speak of from the outside, once inside it's a beautiful setting to enjoy a meal, or sit at the bar. The bar area is off to the right, while the dining room is to the left, a nice touch to keep the volume in the dining room at a level to enjoy conversation. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals in the St Augustine area - we will be back.

We loved this place! Early dinner for us. Not too crowded and not too loud. We started with drinks from the bar. Black Fly Saturn and Pumpernickel Spritz. Both were very good. Calamari was the appetizer. My husband is somewhat of a connoisseur of calamari and rated this at the top of his list. Main courses were Furikake crusted ahi tuna with pickled vegetables and rice with a fantastic sauce. Husband had Fried rice surf and turf. Everything was cooked to perfection and super flavorful! Our server Stephanie was excellent, offering suggestions and checking back appropriately. We will be back!

I came to the restaurant for a cocktail hour during a wedding and the service was really great. The leadership and staff provided us were great and the private room was excellent for the occasion with plenty of space! I think the drinks were really good too and reasonably priced. I was able to try the fried rice, and I would say it's a 4/5 and the conch chowder a 3/5. The tikis punch was a 5/5! Make sure you don't arrive during peak hours or take ride share because parking is limited.

Now that we've officially moved here, we've been back about three more times, and somehow I love it more every time. If you enjoy seafood and New Orleans-style food, this is definitely a place to put on your St. Augustine list! The service has always been good, the drinks are great, and yes, there's usually a wait, but honestly, it goes by pretty quickly. We typically grab a drink and hang outside while we wait for our buzzer to go off, which makes the wait feel much more enjoyable. I have a few favorites here that I find myself coming back to: Redfish Alexandria, absolutely delicious and one of my favorites. Andouille Crusted Grouper , another standout if you're looking for something flavorful and seafood-focused. My first choice now that the low country pasta isn't available Crab Cakes, always a good choice for appetizer. Low Country Pasta, this was a special during their Mardi Gras menu, and I was SO SAD to find out it wasn't a regular menu item because I would order this all the time! My first choice And please save room for dessert because the fried Oreos are a MUST-TRY! For drinks, you really can't go wrong, we've had a few of their signature drinks, but the Cucumber Martini was one of my favorites. Refreshing, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering! The restrooms are conveniently located both upstairs and downstairs. Parking in this part of St. Augustine can be a little difficult, but that's pretty typical for the area and definitely wouldn't stop me from coming here. Overall, Harry's has become one of those places we're happy to keep coming back to. Great food, fun atmosphere, good drinks, and plenty of New Orleans-inspired seafood dishes to choose from. Definitely worth checking out when you're visiting St. Augustine!

The restaurant is located in the Hyatt hotel and has complimentary valet parking. We went for a Mother's Day dinner. The ambience was classy with a live pianist and upscale decor. Our party of three shared a Petit seafood plateau with oysters, shrimp, cocktail crab claws, poke tuna, accompaniments. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed CAFECITO-CRUSTED SALMON FILET with creamy risotto, forest mushrooms, miso crema BRANZINO, artichokes, citrus, capers, castelvetrano olives, sauce verde and ATLANTIC SWORDFISH with mousseline potatoes, broccolini, crispy capers, pan jus. Unfortunately the weather decided otherwise. The weather was terrible and the rooftop closed. We opted to continue with our evening as one of our friends lives in Vilano. I had visited the original restaurant many moons ago but was looking forward to the new location despite it being in a hotel. I am a vegetarian and the options for those are very limited. And I get it. It's a steakhouse. My friends all love steaks. Between the four in our party we had the bread which was out of this world and we ended up ordering a second order, the goat cheese terrine which was tasty, chopped Salad minus the bacon was delicious,Caesar salad for one lady, the mashed potatoes and they were not great, the seasonal vegetables and those were awesome, the Brussel sprouts which were very good but a skimpy portion, a filet steak review was it was ok, steak mofongo and review was ok, and lastly the vegetable pasta and again review was ok. I personally just had the sides as I hate onion and I could not get a vegetarian pasta without onion. The pros are everyone on the staff was wonderful! Bartenders, our server Jonny, hostess, valet guys, etc. The cons are the chairs are cheap and uncomfortable, the space is dressed up a bit for a hotel but still a hotel restaurant, some of the patrons had on shorts and ball caps. For the menu prices a dress code should be enforced and more comfortable seating available. I still want to check out the sunset rooftop and the bread is worth another trip. Other than that, I have other places in SA I lean toward.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She always came around to make sure we were good and didn't need anything. She also made sure we didn't feel rushed even though they were busy We ordered - Oyster Rockefeller ($22): Overpriced for what you get. It was just ok but it didn't taste bad. Wouldn't get it again for the price. - Blackened Grouper (MP - $46): it came with a curry coconut rice with plantains and pickled onions. Honestly, I don't like curry but it was pretty good. Not too heavy in tumeric flavor and the plantains made it sweet. I think I preferred the dish without the curry, as a personal preference, but it was still pretty delicious. The blackened grouper had lots of spices and flavor. - Herb-Crusted Grouper (MP - $46): traded the sides for hush puppies and coconut rice. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fish was glistening and fresh. The coconut rice had great flavor and not too sweet. The hush puppies hit the spot and they gave you a good amount. Overall, the restaurant is pretty expensive but the food is very delicious! Restaurant was easy to find and close to our hotel, plenty of parking. When we walked up, the views were nice as it's on the water. Nice signage. Our server came by soon after, was attentive and friendly the rest of the evening. Appetizers - We ordered the gator tail and calamari. That must have been THE most tender calamari I've ever had! The breading was also very good and light - and the pepper sauce they give with it... wow very good! The gator was also very tender and good! Entrees - I ordered the Butter Rum Scallops and my husband ordered the Shrimp & Grits. My first bite of my entree was heavenly... I REALLY enjoyed it. It was sooooo good. On to the negatives - the hostess stand and or management is disorganized. Came up at 8:20 and asked for a table of 4. We inquired about an over water tiki hut and were told they stop seating those at 8pm because it gets dark. That's fine. Was told a 45 min wait, we agreed to join the list through yelp. We asked for first available, indoor or outdoor. On the plus side, the wait ended up being closer to 30 mins. However, there were tons of free tables the entire time we waited. Tiki huts were empty. The whole inside only had 2 tables sat. We asked to see a menu while we waited and got an audible sigh and eye roll. When our table was called, the hostess called 4 other groups at the same exact time, leading to a lot of confusion. As we are sitting and eating (it's now 9:30) a couple walks in. They're led to a table on the patio and asks to go into a tiki hut instead, which they are promptly sat in after they clean it off. So we asked our waitress, what's the deal! She said oh just ask the hostess and they can put you on the list for those huts. So not sure what happened. Overall- ambience 8/10 Food 7/10 Service (waitress) 10/10 Management (hostess) 4/10 Not sure if we'll go back because of the disorganization, unnecessary wait times, and rude hostesses.
