Not what I ordered, does this look like tea to you? Main ingredient in an Arnold Palmer. Smells odd

Do NOT slow down, stop, but run away! Seriously I placed an order while traveling because I have been to this franchise in the location where my parents are and really enjoyed the food and service. This location is not your place to stop. Nor place on online order. I ordered early, when I arrived I was told they were out of one of the items as I stood there looking at it in the case. I said it would be fine to substitute. I was ignored, the very nasty tattooed young lady NEVER looked up the order and just said I was going to wait. I watched other people who came in after get there orders. I noticed that all the women would only speak to men "oh so sweet" until a black man came in who was National of Islam faith. He too placed an online order. Such a nice a calm and nice person, he in no way deserved how he was treated. When I asked the young lady where/when my order would be ready she was uncivil. She told me I could cancel the order (which I could not) and she would not cancel the order. Funny they can not fulfill the order and not supply the correct items and feel they get away with that. This is so wrong. There was a woman who came out to find out what the problem was and SHE is the person who Did Not correctly fill the order and complained about she didn't know where her head was when another person asked about their order Please take my advice and do NOT go to this place there are too many problems, no resolution and no one (but my bank) who would answer over 12 attempted calls. Save yourself time, trouble, poor food and poor treatment... go to a drive through.

What a delicious meal! It was a busy Sunday morning but our server was so generous. The sauce is amazing, it's got a kick to it. We enjoyed every bit of it, we even had leftover pancakes.

Dirty tables clog salt shaker.

The store wasn't clean, food all over the floor. Under the tables as well. We were seated to a table that was dirty still with food particles on it. I said something & the sweet old lady said it was from the paper towel she used to clean them. My orange juice was water yellow water with bubbles in it. My hash browns were raw and awful. I would not recommend this store to have a decent meal. Even the salt shaker was wet and clogged up. I had to open it to get salt out of it. This was one awful breakfast.

Scrambled eggs, biscuit, potatos

We had to stop at the Big Texan while traveling Route 66 through Amarillo!…read more Our original plan was to come for dinner. I tried getting a reservation just a few hours before we arrived, but there was nothing available, and I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone. Once we drove past that evening, we understood why, the place was absolutely PACKED! I had seen that waits can sometimes reach 1-1.5 hours. That said, if you do have to wait, this is probably one of the better places to do it because there is SO much randomness to explore. Between the gift shop, Western décor, photo ops, and everything else going on, you could easily entertain yourself for an hour. We changed plans and made a reservation for 9 AM the next morning instead, and I'm actually really glad we did! On a Thursday morning it was quiet and relaxed, and we basically had our pick of all the goofy photo opportunities without fighting the dinner crowds. We shared the steak and eggs, and it was a perfect breakfast for two. The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked really well. The entire place is exactly what you hope for from an over-the-top Texas Route 66 roadside stop: rustic, quirky, cow prints everywhere, a big gift shop, and lots to look at. We also discovered a whole crew of cats hanging around outside near the patio in the morning, which was an unexpected and entertaining bonus. One disappointment for us as Route 66 souvenir collectors: they have TWO penny press machines, but unfortunately BOTH were out of order when we visited. We were so sad! Overall, going at 9 AM turned out to be a great move. You still get the full Big Texan experience, but with way fewer people and plenty of time for pictures. Definitely one of those classic, quirky Route 66 stops you have to experience at least once!

We came in, and Helena was at the hostess desk with a few others. I requested a booth, but there…read morewasn't any available for 25 min. My guys were hungry, so I said "fine a table." She led us to a four- top attached to another four-top that's occupied and the table we would be sitting at had a two-top attached. She put the menus down and took off she knew we wouldn't want that. In fact, when she saw us walking back, she said something snarky we couldn't make out. Great way to welcome customers. So, she adds us back to the list for a booth. We ended up sitting in the last booth by the exit. The pad on the booth slid back and forth, both pads on both sides ripped up. Second strike. Then there were the bathrooms. Before you even got to them, it smelled like sewage. It was bad enough to make you gag. They had a fan on the floor inside the bathroom. From the minute we sat down until we left, we were fighting off flies. The server was fine, nothing spectacular left a good impression. I got a salad and a sweet potato. Salad was iceberg and had wilted lettuce mixed in. My husband ordered the prime rib medium, and it came out medium well. My son's was how he ordered it. I am sure the amount of money this place brings in daily is huge. Get your booths fixed, address the sewage smell, and fix the fly issue. We will never go back. We have been traveling across country all month, and this was as bad as Whataburger!! The standard has dropped tremendously since our last visit!! Do yourself a favor go to a nice steakhouse that has their act together! No thank you! 10/17/26

Bad news no tofu. Good news no bell peppers. Don't you get tired of all the peppers in Asian food? Service is awesome! Our server Taylor, was so personable , and she had great menu tips! Based on the reviews we wanted to try the fusion food. We went in around 8:30pm We ordered Mango Cart for myself and Drunken Noodles for kids (No spice level) Curry Chicken with Fried Rice and Lo mein. While we waited for food, my SO ordered a Ginger cocktail. Waitress forgot about it. We had to remind her and she did not even remember what we ordered. They were so busy they had only 2 other tables to handle. Other waitress with glasses is on phone or her back turned against the tables. Cocktail was way too sweet and not even a hint of ginger, it was definitely not worth the 15$. The price is not even listed on menu. We got our first food item at 9:15pm when we requested that our kids were hungry and sleepy, 45 mins after we got in and ordered. Waitress said they were busy with take out, I guess people spending time to visit restaurant are not important. Couple more mins and we were ready to pay for drinks and walkout. Curry Chicken came first and rice came after 5 minutes and waitress did not even think about giving us knives when I ordered chicken which needs knives and took us a while to get her attention as she had her backs turned towards the wall. The waitress kept walking away and sitting down with another couple at a table. Lo mein was made with Ramen noodles. One more thing to note here, the chef keeps walking out of kitchen with food and doesn't even wear and hair net, so dont be alarmed if you find hair in your food If you value your time and mental peace, dont go eat here.
