I found this place on a recent trip to see my Dad in Amarillo. It was a nice surprise! I had the Pancake Breakfast. Eggs cooked to order, pancakes fluffy and the cheesy potatoes put it over the top. Coffee was hot and delicious and my cup stayed full! The staff were very courteous and attentive! Made sure we were taken care of through out the meal. Food ordered not as described on menu: ordered Strawberry and goat cheese salad which comes with spinach, strawberries, walnuts, and goat cheese, and balsamic vinegar. Instead got iceberg lettuce, cabbage, snap peas, carrots, raddish, and half a waffle in the salad bowl. At least there was the cheese, walnuts, strawberries, and dressing- but not at all like described. When one of the servers came to the table with the food, he clarified wha was brought was the strawberry salad. Checked after meal on a menu that what I was presented was not as written. Major bummer. Food presentation was subpar as well, with one of the apitizers having double the amount of sauce on top as another which barely had any. The server was kind- major props to her- but it took a while after we sat down to be served. Only pluses are that the fried green tomatoes were okay, as was the coffee. What a gem in Amarillo! The décor is beautiful, and it's clearly popular, very busy even on a weekday morning. We ordered the Drag Me through garden omelette with added avocado and the egg omelette with ham, served with cheesy potatoes and a side of French toast. Everything was absolutely delicious, (French toast side was only $5 which included half of brioche French toast bread, fruit, whipped cream, raspberry sauce and side of syrup, enjoyed every bite) and the portions were generous. While traveling we stayed in Amarillo Texas for a few weeks. We found this little I guess you would call it a diner which was called OVR-EZE. On the 1st day. 10/07/25 My wife had the French toast and I had the chicken and waffles. When the waffles came they had the Tennessee hot sauce on them. I did not want the sauce so they took them back. While my wife ate her French toast which she said was delicious I waited for my chicken and waffle. She was done by the time my chicken and waffle got to the table. The manager said she was sorry and would take that off of our bill. The chicken and waffle turned out to be delicious. Now an interesting fact they're waffles are made out of croissants that are smashed on a waffle grill. They are very very tasty. Our waitress Aerial was very efficient and took care of all of our needs and answered all of my questions. We thank them and said we will be back soon to try their 3 egg Benny. DAY 2: 10/08/25 I went by myself and ordered the 3 egg Benny. I really didn't want any of the sides that they offered and the waitress Hayden said she could add another poached egg. I said that's right up my alley. As you can see in the picture below there are four poached eggs on an English muffin. Now the English muffin they make right there in house and its large in size. Two slices of thick honey sweet ham was also on there with a delicious hollandaise sauce I have a top 10 list that I keep for my Benedict's that I review throughout the country. I put this Benedict in the number one spot. I based my review on taste, presentation and price. My waitress Hayden took care of all of my needs and was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. She had Chef Andrew come to my table and answer more cooking questions. He makes the oversized English muffins in house. The poached eggs are round and soft. DAY 3 10/10/25 My wife and I both went this time. I had the three egg Benny again with the extra egg on it. My wife had what they called a white breakfast pizza that had different cheeses on it. My three egg Benny tasted just as good this time as it did the time before. The 3 egg Benny (4) is priced at $15.00. The coffee was average price of $2.99 cup. My waitress, Alexis was just as attentive and pleasant as the others. While I was eating the waitress from before came to my table, saw that I was having the 3 egg Bennys again. The waitress was friendly enough I suppose, her demeanor was dialed down by a factor of 10 when compared to the hostess staff. No Big deal, but when we were there for an hour and a half and still didn't have our food I was done. Terry was hustling, she kept the coffee filled. It felt like everyone else in the restaurant was moving at a slow pace. There was a man who greeted us while we were waiting us, I am assuming a manager of some sort. For the most of the time we were there he was at the bar talking to 2 ladies. I would hope that if your restaurant is that short staffed that you would be helping out, not chatting it up with patrons. This was my 2nd time to visit. Had it been my first I doubt I would go back. The first time we ate at the bar, they were just as busy that day as far as the number of people waiting around. Our food that time came out quickly. I'm just going to put this out there....if you are looking to eat authentic chicken and waffles then this is not the place for you. My husband and I went because he wanted to try chicken and waffles. I've had them before, he has not, and he still hasn't had them after eating breakfast here. I called ahead to carify they served chicken and waffles, since it was not on the menu but on the website. The host who answered the phone said let me check the menu and confirmed yes it is on the menu. Instead, my husbad was served a croissant that had been pressed into a waffle maker with chicken on top. The chicken was delightful, super juicy, and delicious! The croissant was good, too. Don't get me wrong, it was just kind of an unusual experience. I ordered the French toast which was an odd item, as well. It was so thick, like a tringle that is two inches wide/tall. It was delicious, just not the typical look to the meal. If your heart is set on the traditional way of things than I would suggest to keep searcing maps and drive on, if you like the quirky side of life pull over and grab a table. You will be in for a treat because like I said it wasnt bad just different. Our server was great, friendly, and attentive. We just wish there had been more clarification on the menu items, thats all. We have made this our Sunday morning ritual!! If we meet friends we sit at a table however if it's just us two we choose the bar. Everyone working there always has a smile and is so friendly and the service is always on point. Every trip we have ordered something new and we have not been disappointed.
