This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon! We were so glad we there early enough that we did not have to wait to get seated. After 9 AM, the restaurant had a line out the door. The restaurant had a casual diner feel to it! Our server was friendly, but he was overwhelmed with all the tables assigned to him. The food was not great at all. I ordered the 2-eggs breakfast with sausage patties. I had scrambled eggs, but they were dry and bland. The sausage patties tasted like what I would get at a free hotel breakfast! It was not good. The side of broccoli that came with the breakfast was so gross. It tasted like they microwaved it, and slapped some margarine on it. Needless to say, I did not finish my meal! read more

We were driving through Amarillo and came across this place on the way. Jimmy's Egg is like a nice version of IHOP and the service is what set it miles apart from your typical conventional breakfast joints. Angela was our server and an absolute angel. I really don't even remember the specifics of my breakfast but I would totally go back for the excellent customer service we received from Angela. I am not sure what my partner had but I had been driving for over 8 hours on and off and was really HANGRY so I ordered a little feast. I tried the pancakes, turkey sausage, eggs over easy, hashbrown, and an infinite amount of coffee that tasted better with each refill. I think the food was decent but the warm hospitality from the front of the house until the end of the meal made this place an excellent stop for breakfast when you are short on time! read more

Please add a bit larger container of gravy for the biscuit & gravy-- there was not quite enough to cover the biscuit. The eggs over medium were perfectly cooked. This place is always a good choice. The menu is not as big as before but it has pretty much something for everybody. The service was great and attentive. We got there about 7am on Saturday and by the time we left it was filling up pretty fast. It's not the big of a restaurant but it was super clean and nice. The service was great- the food not so much. My guacamole was not fresh or real- Tasted like it was a mix or something that came out of a pouch. It was also a lot on the toast. It's been months since I first saw the signs that this place was being built and going to open but every time I drove past it they weren't open yet, I think because of employee shortages and other factors, some of which might have been related to covid and some not. I finally found out they had opened so I stopped by there a few days ago to try it out and was very pleasantly impressed. Their prices are not what I would call cheap and they don't have a special senior menu although they do have a kids menu. I decided to order the Berry Berry Waffle combo which came with two eggs over easy and bacon. It was delicious. See the picture I posted. The berries on top of the waffle were more generous than most places. The eggs were a little more runny than a lot of people would like but it didn't bother me. If you don't like uncooked portions you might want to get them over medium instead of easy. The bacon was thin but cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I'm not a big waffle fan but their waffle was very good. They don't give you real butter which was a disadvantage and that little tiny container of fake butter barely covered 1/4 of the waffle but it was still good because of the berries, whipped cream and syrup. My waitress was super nice and checked with me often to make sure I didn't need anything else, which I didn't. I will definitely go back to try another combination and do recommend it to others. read more

Excellent breakfast food; we had eggs (cooked right), patty sausage, real corned beef, and perfect hash browns. Service was good; prompt and checked back appropriately. There was one item that could be improved - the fruit. My fruit side dish was melons and grapes; they appeared to have been sitting in refrigerator for awhile and did not have much taste.
