Very good food, especially for a road trip! They have a nice assortment of sandwiches and chips to choose from. Would definitely go back!

I have to say out of the many states and many different times I have been to Firehouse Subs this specific location provided the best sandwich I've had. The sandwich had the perfect amount of sauce to meat ratio, just the right amount of cheese for flavor, & the onions I had added were the perfect ripeness. The meat was so mouthwatering and the bread was extremely soft not over toasted. The diner was clean and the establishment was quiet enough that you can have a conversation at your table without having to yell. The employees showed they were customer service oriented, had positive attitudes, and attentive. Bathrooms are also clean enough that they don't make you lose your appetite. I highly recommend this location. read more

Firehouse Subs - Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket - Sandwiches Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

I love their subs, specifically the engineer with turkey, mayonnaise and mushrooms. Yum, yum, yum. We ordered from the kiosk- worked out great! Didn't experience much customer service as a result- but we didn't wait long for our order, so I could say the service was good. read more

I didn't take a picture ...the sub was gone! It was that good. First time T firehouse but it will definitely not be my last! We took our sub to go, the service was cordial and fast and the restaurant looked very clean and well situated. Enjoy! read more

customer service was very slow, we already wanted our order faster than the available timeslot online, but they were several minutes past the promised delivery time either way. Several employees behind the counter moving very slowly to make our order when we already told them we were here. Several sandwiches were hot when we specifically ordered cold, and we got a weird box of only meat and melted cheese without bun or veggies. didn't include chips in the bag so if we would have taken it to go we wouldn't have gotten our full order. I feel like it could've been a good experience with decent food, but the customer service, speed, and frustration really depleted our visit. Needs some management. read more

Didn't have any meat or really anything thing more that sad were work in Amarillo after 10 hour we were hungry went there thing it would be like Lubbock's fire house but sad not any good not wast your money there read more

The food is super good the hot sauce bar is awesome and the waiters are super friendly

The steamer is my favorite sandwich to eat when I need a comfort food fix. Staff at this location were friendly and accommodating. We sat at a corner high top table that still had crumbs on and around it when we sat down. We were the only guests in the store so I would expect the tables to be clean and the floor swept up. Overall a good experience for a fast food place. read more

This is firehouse had outstanding customs service. Every employee greeted you in unison as you walked in. The person taking our order was courteous and thorough. The food was prepared quickly and was on point. This location was the biggest FHS that I have ever been in. It was well kept and relatively clean. I highly recommend this location. read more

I would say this place has the best subs in Amarillo great food nice people place is clean highly recommend their hot subs are off the hook!

This is my new go to for subs. With the app you can order exactly how you want it and just walk in and grab your order off the to go rack...very fast and efficient. But that's not to downplay the friendly workers who give you a warm "WELLLL-come to Firehouse!" The salads are great for take out because everything is finely chopped, which makes it easy to eat on the go. The subs are where it's at, though. I hope they make the Jerk Turkey a permanent menu item, it's amazingly good! Also like the "Engineer" with mushrooms! read more

Need to work out some bugs with the app, but great sandwiches! I do not recommend going through yelp to order, yelp sent me an email saying my order would be ready in 45-65 minutes(?!?) I live 9 minutes away from the store and drove up there to pick it up and low and behold it was ready twenty minutes after the order went in (?) come on yelp, do better- dump grubhub and find any other online options. Our 30.00 worth of food would have been nasty in 45-65 minutes, in today's economy that's not good business! read more

Tried the new chicken parmesan meatball sub. Came out fast, hot, and delicious. Staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Free smells! I drove by and saw the sign, was recommended this place by my Father, and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients and priced well. Clean business, grade A. read more

Food for a cause, big portions with lots of toppings! Can be slow because so good and actual local community people and feels, and prices I feel are to scale, can be pricier day to day though. The vibe is very nice but busy on the inside. read more

Finally checked out firehouse subs last night, and it was awesome! The subs were really great had the meatball and added cherry peppers to it, minor complaint was that they were on top of the sub and not melted into the cheese though next time I'll ask if they can do that. The meatballs exceeded expectations and the marinara sauce was robust and not overly sweet like other sub shops. My girlfriend got the club on a sub and the ham and turkey on it were wonderful. I also tried the chili, but it's northern chili (with beans and low spice) so I wouldn't recommend it. The price was fair with as much a we got. Few other notes: every sub can be made a small, medium, or large. Their soda machine is one of those All in one that has a touch screen and 40 drinks (Not a fan of them they always taste wrong and I think only having a single nozzle is to blame). The staff is friendly which was a plus. You can have your debit card round out the change that they donate to firefighters which I really appreciate. Their wheat bread was too plain and lacked flavor, the white was tastier and had a buttery flavor. read more

Great food, but outstanding service and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this Firehouse!

We love the subs from Firehouse but we waited 30 mins for our to go order of just 2 subs. After getting back on the road we realized one sub was not the right one that we ordered. They had 6 employees with very few customers. I recommend Firehouse but maybe not this location. read more

Great place to eat, this place is very friendly and well staffed. Our subs had generous contents and most importantly were very tasty!

This place went to complete crap... It was one of my most favorite places to go and now it's not just another sandwich place but the worst of them....the bread was hard as a rock... I even tried to get them hyped up on the 1012 and no enthusiasm. They no longer have the variety of hot sauces which to me was the main attraction to me ... sorry but I wont be back and have lost complete interest... read more

Love Firehouse subs. I had the Turkey Bacon Ranch sub and it was delicious. My husband had the potato soup and he really enjoyed it.

This is the absolute best firehouse subs I've been to, the food is always high quality and delicious. The service is great, fast, and the people are always friendly. The restaurant is clean and never messy. read more

Love the food. Got home missing part of the order and was told I'd have to come back to get a refund or the rest of my order. Mgr. didn't offer to take my name. Didn't offer to look up the receipt #. Nothin... but wasted time & $$$ read more

Subs are very good. And they have Coke Zero. This location is lacking in cleanliness. No soap in the ladies bathroom & the person that came out before me was an employee..very disturbing. No hand sanitizer in either machine in the lobby & I had to clean off the table before food arrived. Most Firehouse Subs that I have been in have been spic n span. This one needs a little guidance. read more

Samantha provided the best customer service experience I've ever had and my sandwich was absolutely perfect. Samantha deserves a raise or a bonus! read more

I've gotten sandwiches here 3 or 4 times in the past couple of months. I plan to frequent this place more often when I need something on the run. First, the food is good. Everything I've had has been tasty. Secondly, every time I've ordered I've asked for some change to the sandwich and every time they've gotten it exactly correct. Thirdly, and most importantly in my book, is the customer service I've gotten in the drive thru. I've been helped by at least three different employees and they've all been courteous, helpful, and enthusiastic! Big Momma, that's the name on her name tag, is a special standout on that list! read more

If you have any type of dietary concern then avoid this place at all costs. I admit, I have ate here more times than I can count, but never again. I made it extremely clear that I was ordering a Vegetarian Sandwich for my oldest daughter, who is a vegetarian. What's on the sandwich? Steak! Steak on a vegetarian sandwich. I understand for a non-vegetarian you are most likely thinking... what's the big deal? I get it, I do, but it's a big deal to her. I would write more but I will admit that I am rather upset. The staff didn't even care and the person I spoke to needed me to explain it twice as they weren't even listening the first time. I feel violated, lied to, and robbed. Enjoy the $40 you took from my family, you will not get another dime from us again. read more

Very friendly service and a clean restaurant! The food is at a very fair price as well. Stopped at his location while passing through town. We will definitely stop again if we are ever in the area. read more

This place has gone downhill so quickly! The last 3 times we have gone there our orders have been wrong or things have been missing. We use to love this place, but we won't be back anytime soon. read more

They have decent subs, but I think they are on the expensive side. I will come here from time to time, but I prefer the drive-through. Dine-in is fairly noisy although the decorations are fun. read more
