Wife and I split a Big Chef Salad, this was to complement the Buc-ee's Sandwiches we had an hour before. The salad was great, generous amounts of sliced ham and turkey. Nice selection of dressings as well. The Balsamic Vinaigrette was nice and lighter after the Buc-ee's experience. Jason's is very bright and has quite open seating. The had advertised for their 25% donations to non-profits who signup. Great support for the community. Would certainly frequent if I lived near them. read more

Went to Jason's deli yesterday for lunch. We have been there many times and enjoyed their salads . This time, however. I was somewhat shocked. Not only had they raised the price, the grilled chicken was cut so thin you could see both sides at once. Also, they have changed the size of the salad plate they used, was no larger than a coffee cup saucer Why do some merchants not only raise their prices but the amount of product is down sized without any mention to the public? Do we not see these "subtle" changes and can be fooled into any change? Shame! read more

This is a very busy place during lunchtime. My favorite is the Beefeater sandwich (with au jus), I get the manager's special so that I can get the half sandwich (which is plenty) with chips and also I get the salad bar as the side. You can't beat the fresh salad bar. Tons of fresh choices, everything is delicious. The ranch dressing is so good, and they have lots and lots of choices. Then onto the ice cream machine! Great way to top off a great meal. This is a fun place to go eat lunch, I highly recommend it. read more

I love their HUGE baked potato. My favorite is the Pollo Mexicano, but they have a great chili and cheese one which is not on the menu. My siblings said their burnt ends bowl was great, but never got to try that. Please bring it back... Service is too fast. On a hot day, I like to get some self serve ice cream to cool off and there is not time to eat it before the food arrives. read more

The salad bar is excellent and the food is always good, but there is one issue that happens regularly at every Jason's Deli we go to. We get 2 salad bars and one soup. They give us a number and we get our plates and wait for our soup. We end up waiting 10 minutes and go up and bring them our number and getting our bowl served fresh. What is the point of giving us a number if y'all aren't going to bring our soup? This is literally consistent! We want to go more, but it's like either give us the soup while we get our plates or bring it to us. Otherwise, it is one of the best salad bars and so affordable. All the toppings one could wish for and a variety of sides. The tomato basil soup was really good once we got it. Nice and chunky without being bitter. Maybe one day they will figure out the soup. read more

Ive been going to Jason's in wolflin for a few years now and have always had excellent service. But the past few times have been awful. I ordered a pork sandwich. The bun was burnt so bad and stale. I couldn't eat it. The other day I ordered one of my favorites the Pollo Mexicano potato. They gave me like two cubes of chicken. No chicken. :( I try to leave them a tip when I can at the drive through. My order total was 13 dollars he decided to keep all my change for his tip. Lol. Didn't bother to ask me. I placed an online order with Jason's Deli at 34th and Coulter. The food was okay and was almost completed on time. My main problem with the order is the way I was treated. I arrived and had to wait for the order to be completed although there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. When I got home with my order, I discovered the side salad that I ordered was only toppings with no lettuce!! I was in the restaurant while the salad was being prepared, so I could have been asked if I wanted only toppings and NO LETTUCE! The worst part about my experience was the way I was treated on the phone. The young man told me that it was my fault I had no lettuce IN A SALAD!!! It had been a long time since going here so we decided to give it another try. we ordered two barbecue baked potatoes and two trips to the salad bar. The salad bar is always great here. The baked potatoes should have been labeled as meat candy they were so sweet. Neither one of us ate our potato and we ended up leaving and going to eat somewhere else. We wasted $50 for two salads. I came in today 12.20.21 at almost 1pm. I came in through the pick up/ delivery door and the sweet lady with the long black hair and black rimmed glasses didn't say anything. I did say that it was my first time there and I read they had a superb salad bar. Great! Salad bar ordered to go and I had a lovely time building my own! I thought I should order my hubby a sandwich and she helped me with a menu on the table and gave me information on a few popular sandwiches to choose from. This location: Parking is difficult most of the time, and the location is in the back corner of a strip mall, making it hard to get in and out very fast. The service seems to be good but a bit inconsistent. One time ordering a side salad got me a trip to the salad bar, the next I got a pre made salad. The app/mobile ordering: Seems to work flawlessly, the app is actually pretty user friendly. The chain: The salad bar is great, the menu doesn't have as many appealing choices to me personally as competitors. They only have a couple of potato options. M'eh. I've always loved Jason's Deli, but the Wolflin location has the absolute worst service. Every time I order a delivery, they are late, even when I make sure to order well in advance. I ordered a salad from this place on Uber eats because I was in town and didn't have a car. They didn't put any dressing in the bag so I just had a dry salad. When I called, they said they wouldn't send their delivery driver to bring me dressing but I could come get it if I wanted (which again I couldn't). I have always enjoyed eating at this Jason 's but today with a child of an employee's was running around then sat down to eat and the phone he had was blaring. Did not make it a pleasurable experience. I know child care is hard but at least make them behave. We try and come when it isn't so busy to avoid a lot of noise. Jason's is a chain. Therefore I avoided it for as long as possible. After I tried most of the other places in town I decided to give them a shot because I do love soup and they have lots of varieties. I was pretty impressed. I have gotten three or four kinds of soups here by now and got their baked potato once which was the size of a football and made three meals for me. It wasn't quite as good as the loaded baked potato at the Potato Factory but it was pretty good. I like their soup and sandwich combination which is under $10 and plenty of food. Their cup of soup is pretty generous. I haven't tried the salad bar although it looks very fresh. I tried the pasta Alfredo once and it was very good. I like that they have two sizes available depending on how hungry you are or whether you want to order something else with it . The employees have all been very nice also. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the turkey. It was more like processed deli turkey than it was real roasted turkey like it implied and it was a bit on the salty side. I'm sure I will be back for more soups and pasta and that salmon sandwich was pretty darn good also. read more

Great fresh salad bar. All the food is excellent. They do have high content sodium food, but I understand they are working on that. Their Pot Pie is the best. Workers are usually friendly and helpful. Sunday's are pretty crowded as well as lunch hours on week days. We went for a visit yesterday. I had a salad n hubby had chili n salad bar. That is ALL we ate yesterday. We just drank water otherwise. During the night I had diarrhea. Vomited during the next day! Hubby vomited too. Our stomachs hurt. I continued with water until 8 pm tonight n had soup n crackers at home. Thanks Jason!!! The restaurant only had a handful of people in there at 3 pm. Salad bar... LOOKED .. good. But something in there was NOT GOOD! So spending 22.00 on lunch was not worth it. What happened to this place? It has always been the best place to eat. We met family here to visit. The food was good but what really impressed was the service. The staff really went out of their way to meet our needs. From providing my husband with a paper menu when he mentioned he was having difficulty reading the board to coming by our table to make sure our orders had been filled correctly. Despite my edgy fear of salad bars in general (gah, am I turning into a germophobe with age?), I will give Jason's Deli four stars because it seems like one of the healthiest dining-out options in Amarillo. The salad bar stocks mixed greens, chopped lettuces, and spinach leaves, along with a very expansive spread of various yummy fresh veggies and house made croutons and dressings. They are almost unnervingly proud at being trans-fat and MSG free. There are seriously banners everywhere. The broccoli cheese soup is rather thick and salty, but still tasty, and the employees are all super friendly, plus they give you frozen yogurt for free for dessert. Fierce. read more

Never had Jason's Deli before that I can recall, but when I found out that they had options to make a few things vegan, I had to go try it!! Glad that we did! Now we have a place that's fairly popular with an awesoooome salad bar with vegan friendly dressings and not just ranch, ceasars, and blue cheese. Got really full and was happy to see that we could even make our meals cheaper next time by doing away with the sides and just getting the unlimited salad bar. After several days of eating barbeque, steaks and chicken fried everything, I was looking for a lighter, non-coma inducing option for lunch. Thanks, Yelp, for leading me to Jason's Deli. The place is a little chaotic for newbies, but thankfully I had checked out the menu in advance. I ordered the salad bar and a cup of tomato soup. Hubby ordered a French dip, which was generously portioned and served with potato chips. He gave the sandwich two thumbs up. My soup was delicious. The salad bar had a large variety of choices, including artichokes, green and black olives, and red and yellow peppers. Because the salad bar was a pretty popular option, the food turnover was constant. There was at least one, and usually two, employees restocking and cleaning up the salad bar the entire time we were there. My only gripe is the sheer lack of meat other than bacon.
