Stopped in to grab a smoothie and salad on my way to the airport. Ordered a small salad - Build your own. Fair but nothing looked too fresh on the salad bar. Also ordered the super food smoothie; however, it was pure liquid and not blended well. Plus it tasted and appeared to have oats in it, which were not listed on the menu. I tossed it in the garbage after a few sips Service was nice. Inside dining area is really big. Won't be returning on my next trip. read more

Healthy and convenient stop in Amarillo, TX! Admittedly looking for a bbq spot while driving through town, they were all closed on a Monday during lunch so we found Favs. This ended up being a very appropriate and satisfying lunch. Definitely a locals spot it gave you a little bit of the Amarillo feel. I felt obligated to get a southwest wrap and it didn't disappoint. Very fresh and filling. What a find! Looking for healthy food this place is for you. We are on a road trip and we're pleasantly surprised to find FAV. Because of COVID we welcomed the opportunity to order online (from the car) and popped in to pick up. Had a salad, açaí bowl, and a couple of chicken wraps. All were good. We are in the car as we continued our journey. The only downside was that the online ordering did not give an email or text confirmation so I was a little nervous about our order having gone through. My boyfriend are traveling through the area and wanted something light for an early dinner. Found this place on Yelp. For the area, we're very impressed. Covid Safety - Place is clean and eating tables are spaced out. Also like that there's an automatic sanitizer machine right in front of you when you enter. Staff wore masks. Service - Quick. One lady came for take out right before us and another lady was eating at a table. After we ordered our food, we waited maybe 5-8 minutes. You do throw away your trash and put the dishes away but that wasn't a problem for us. Food - Delicious. My boyfriend got the green pozole soup and chicken salad sandwich. He said it was a great combo. I also got the same soup and shrimp cocktail. Since the chicken salad looked good, I just ordered that as a side. Since it was super cold outside, the soup was great and tasty. The shrimp cocktail was good too but really cold so I wouldn't suggest that on a cold day unless you're up for that. The chicken salad is a must get. It was delicious! I would probably order another side of it if I wasn't so full. We also ordered the lemongrass mint tea. It was slightly sweet and very tasty. Amazing little restaurant! They make a great effort into making vegan and vegetarian options! My personal favorite dish is their pizza quesadilla hybrid called the "Pizzadilla." I also like how their decor and style inside the restaurant. Another favorite of mine is their Bonzai Bowl and their Southwest Wrap. Something I appreciate that they do here is how easy it is to modify certain menu items. In my case, I can always add jalapeños or extra dressing. The staff is super friendly and are very attentive. We ordered the chicken salad nachos, a sandwich, Mediterranean wrap, Paradise açaís bowl, and a smoothie and there was nothing left. So, I can not recommend this place highly enough! My daughter and I stopped in here before heading out of town to Santa Fe, NM to pick up some road food. We got four salads, two wraps and a couple of smoothies that lasted all day. The food was absolutely delicious as well as healthy. When your on the road it is so hard to find good local eats that don't leave you feeling bloated. On top of the food being top notch the place itself is clearly a labor of love. The owner's sister was there when we went in and it was great to have a chance to speak with her about the place and their recent expansion. Exactly what I needed before heading back to Dallas. Day trip for business brought me to the area. So happy to have found this place as the options are fantastic. I had the alkaline infused water, pina colada parfait, and shrimp tostada. I don't like almonds so subbed for walnuts in the parfait and it was yummy! Lucky to find great late afternoon snacks (avocado toast with sliced egg for $3.-, açaí bowls 7.- and drinks, huge cucumber lemonade on sale for 1.- and a tasty southwest chicken wrap with guacamole, mango, yellow bell peppers, beans and corn for 8.50 . We found this with a search of "healthy food" Amarillo we got take out because of Covid and we have our dog. It would have been great if they had some outdoor shaded seating. Decent Lunch We got there early so no problem getting a table. Been told that lunch time can be very busy with lines out the door. Located on a small neighborhood side street about six blocks from the freeway. So mostly locals for customers. Atmosphere is casual and rustic as expected looking from the outside. When going in pick up a menu and order at the counter. They then prepare your food at the counter in front of you. Then pay pick up your tray and go to your table. I had the small southwestern salad with chicken added and glad I didn't order anything bigger. It was tasty and I of course ate it all. Staff was friendly and courteous. This place is a must try!!! How they do not have a huge line, I do not know!!! We were wanting something that was light since we had a lot of driving ahead. Their salads are top notch! I went in think it was a wrap o was going to order but after seeing my husband's salad made I couldn't resist! There are so many options to add and make it specific to your liking! We had the fiesta salad and strawberry fields slightly modified to our likings both with spicy chicken. Everything was ssssoooo fresh! This definitely would have been enough but I had to try the Avocado toast with corn and bean salsa and my husband tried the shrimp ceviche. So glad we did these were exceptional! I also had a smoothie strawberry/banana. Which I probably should have read the ingredients before I ordered. The name says it all - this place is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! We're out of towners from LA and were on the search for something fresh and clean. We had almost given up hope, then found this absolute gem of a spot. I cannot say enough good things about this place - it honestly put every fancy snobby LA high-end eatery to shame. This is what REAL, CLEAN, HEALTHY food tastes like! It was so good we came back the next day, and got like 4 sandwiches for the road - that we devoured immediately. Seriously - breakfast, lunch, dinner, this place has everything. And everyone is so nice! I couldn't be happier and more thrilled with the experience. If I'm ever in Amarillo again, I'm eating at FAVS for. Every. Meal! I wish I had gotten pictures, but me and my wife devoured everything. I ordered the broccoli salad and energy juice and both were amazing. So fresh and delicious! The service was great, employees were very nice and friendly and seemed to enjoy working there (a very good sign). I loved it so much, I came back the next day around 7pm to order again. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is that when I arrived, they were closed. Their sign outside said they would be closed the next day onwards so I was disappointed and confused as to why they were closed an hour early on the day they were still open. read more

FFFRREESSSSHHHHH!!!!!! Found this fantastic spot on my way up from Houston to Denver, needed something fresh on the road. This place is amazing. I wish we had these all over Houston. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh, crisp and delicious. I almost tried everything on the menu, which was OK because of my morning workout. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food was absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough, hope that they thrive and are very successful.
