Love this restaurant! Been frequenting it to stay healthy during this pandemic. I usually get the ACAI smoothie and switch between the different sandwiches and wraps they have. They didn't have these restaurants in the last city I lived in, so it is great to try something new and it be awesome. I have tried to cut out most processed grains out of my diet and follow a diet similar to keto, minus I'm still allowed sugar. I drive a truck for a living and treat myself to this place a couple times a week. I've lost 20 pounds by cutting out fast food and eating here in the last 3 months. Katherine and Alexa are great. Well it was my first and probably last time that I go here. I ordered a chia oatmeal bowl no banana sub strawberries no blueberries sub strawberries, and they only substituted one thing, and not both. I had also asked if they could add the Nutella chocolate drizzle on top as an extra, they me for it, but did not add it. I called to let them know and the lady that answered was super kind about it and offered to remake it, but I don't have time due to my work schedule. Service was alright, but I do think that whoever was in the back, might need to wait to talk about at home personal life until no customers are inside, that way nobody gets into their business! read more

I always leave a tip except for today, I walked in they were not busy, I heard them joking and horsing around behind the walls, waited for quite awhile finally someone walked by and saw me. I placed my order without leaving a tip this time because they took so long and didn't seem like they wanted to wait on me. The detox island green smoothie was NOT smooth, so many chunks of ice I couldn't use the straw. Come on guys, do better, it's not a hard job and these things are expensive as is! The manager is usually cool with me but his employees today were terrible. Too busy playing with each other to help the customers. Very disappointed. read more

I saw on the menu what the ingredients are. I specifically asked if anything else would be added. I asked for no ice and leave out one ingredient. When I received my drink it was the most disgusting and vile thing. They out sweet powder in it. So it was obnoxiously sweet and super gritty. Not what I wanted. I asked for it to be remade. I can drink it now. But I have no intention of retuning to a tropical smoothie again. It was made again and it is nearly all fruit. What happened to all the green vegetables that were supposed to be included. It appears to be included for color only, so it appears that I'm consuming something full of micronutrients. But, I'm not. It would be helpful if the menu included information about the powdered sugar as well as other ingredients. read more

This place is usually ok and really quick but not today. I went in during lunch rush and placed an order for one of their signature smoothies with a few custom add-ons, at 12:10pm. The dining room was busy so I knew there were a few people ahead of me, so I got ready to to wait. I waited for awhile then decided to stand up and wait after they brought out what seemed like the order in front of mine. I waited more...then I see an employee exit the prep area (maybe a manager bc she had a polo shirt on). She goes to the back area and plugs her phone in and is eating. While chewing her food she then walks back into the prep area and grabs her Toot'N'Totum drink cup that's sitting in the prep area. She then goes back to the back. I'll this while, my smoothie was sitting in the blender waiting to be blended and expo-ed out to me. She finally comes back to finish my smoothie and DID NOT WASH HER HANDS. I finally left with my smoothie, after asking, at 12:23pm. YA'LL ARE TRIPPIN!!!!! Also some of my items were missing from my smoothie. Get it together. read more

I recently tried to place an order for delivery through door dash after my order was placed it was than cancelled by tropical smoothie cafe . I called door dash as to find out the reason for the cancellation and they never answered . No explanation was ever given to me as to why my order was canceled. This was great a few months ago, and the food is still good which counts for the 1 star. Unfortunately this visit was a terrible experience - The cashier let us know they were out of strawberries, ok got it. But apparently their computer doesn't let them sell anything that normally includes that ingredient if they're out of it, so the menu became 2 smoothie options. The humans were unable to substitute in any ingredients they did have because the computer said it couldn't be rung up that way. This was all really hard to understand with the noise level, and the cashier just saying "no" to everything. read more

This place is SO GOOD!! The smoothies are delicious and huge. The food is delicious and the portions are pretty reasonable. The menu is also quite extensive. It can take a little while to get your food, but it's worth it! And everyone that works there is super nice. Highly recommend! My friend and I are on vacation here and have gone every day! read more

I've ate here the last two days. I'm loving this place. Their health smoothies taste wonderful and their food is fantastic. Dining in may be noisy due to the kitchen being an open concept and the blenders going full blast, but worth it. Service was super fast and friendly. Very clean inside. Ok. I understand they had a big on line order come in before I arrived. I also don't think waiting 25min for my food is reasonable. The girl up front would get verbally mad when she would call orders out and people had to abandon their orders. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and my husband called in an order for pick up. He went into get it and the employee couldn't find the order for our two smoothies. An outside customer that had already picked up an order and left the building came back in and said he had the wrong order, which was mine and my husbands order. The employee then took the two smoothies from the returning customer and handed them to my husband and said "there, everything is fixed." Are you kidding me? Absolutely awesome. Loved everything about it, wait, except the wobbly table. Good was fresh and delicious. I loved the barbeque thing so much I bought a second one. Had to fight my wife to get my share though. Great fast friendly service. I believe the owner was there, very friendly and attentive. Just found out about Detox Smoothie. Went by to cafe on Sony this morning to get one before work. I had never been to this location. I somehow turned in the wrong place and missed the speaker. I waited at the window for someone to come to the window. A sweet girl with braces came and asked if I needed help. I told her I missed the speaker but could she take my order? She said she would have to get the manager. The sweet girl returned and responded. I was to drive around go to the speaker and order. There was on one behind me. I just said thank you and drove off. they don't even deserve one star. the staff was incredibly rude and i waited 30 minutes for a wrap, and ended up leaving because they were SO hateful. my cousin had ordered a smoothie online and i ordered at the counter, and the girl at the front accused her of stealing it. absolutely freaking ridiculous-- seriously i get this is a chain and other tropical smoothie cafes are better but do not go to this one if you want to keep your sanity. read more

They have an extremely extensive and informative menu that can be overwhelming but fear not- the food is delicious and the smoothies are addicting. When you walk in, there's a stand with menu brochures of all the things they serve. It'd be wise to grab one and read it before you walk up and try to order. It tells you what's in each of their products. They have about 16 different smoothies and their food make you feel like everything there is a more healthy alternative than any fast food place. I got the turkey apple dijon today and they took whole grain sandwich bread to the next level. It looked like there were chia seeds and nuts imbedded into it. It was practically artwork. And I'm just talking about the bread. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is fairly clean. Location is awkward since you can only drive in and out of it one way but I'm not going to blame that on them. I like it more and more each time I come. read more
