Twice I've ordered to go from this store. First time they for got my salad dressing and had to eat a dry salad. Today I ordered to go a salad, drink and 12 count nuggets. $27.39. Drive off got home and all I got was a half empty drink and no 12 count nuggets. So basically I spent $27.39 for a salad. Called them and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Foods great, but tell me why customer service is terrible?? My family and I order 4 FRIES, 4! You wanna know how many we got? ONE! We got one container of fries, in return, we don't get our missing fries nor a refund, but we get an unnecessary amount of sauces, we didn't even ask for half of those sauces. I like Chick-fil-A overall and dislike fast food overall. I'd probably rather have Chick-fil-A than a fast food hamburger. Even though it had a decent flavor and texture, I'm pretty sure it was that reformed stuff where they disassemble it and then put it back together and God knows what's mixed into it. Plus I'm sure it's soaked in salt to tenderize it which means it's probably very high in sodium. The main reason I'm taking stars off though is that the first picture shown in their listing is a breakfast sandwich even though this location doesn't even serve breakfast sandwiches. So don't believe the pictures. They just use stock pictures for all their listings but the locations in shopping centers don't open early so they don't serve breakfast foods. The waffle fries were pretty good. I wouldn't have bought them myself but the lady sitting next to me had more than she wanted so she passed some over to me to try. They also didn't have coffee at this location. I don't know if they have it at other locations. I didn't want much, just a little snack so I asked if I could just order three pieces of chicken with no sides or drink. The girl asked me if I wanted nuggets or strips and I figured strips were a safer option. I thought the cost of over $5 with tax wasn't very cheap for just three smallish pieces of chicken. read more

Food always great. Service good and staff friendly. We frequent here often. They have the best ice cream.

Management issue would keep me from returning to this location. Order was entered incorrectly because the cashier was distracted. Very slow to process my order for 2 pm. There were several people in line before and after us, so food should have been in the process of prep. After a couple of minutes, watched them finally place my grilled chicken on their grill (think panini type grill). Cook didn't even place the top of the grill down so it didn't start cooking. Someone else had to do it. Waited with no acknowledgment that we were still waiting while 4 customers after us received their food. Poorly trained and blah attitude is a management issue. read more

This location is the worst that I've visited. It is always messy, unorganized and smells like burnt frying grease. They are in no hurry for anything and can't get orders to patrons as they should. We ordered for Tim, they yelled for "Telon" Normally, they call the order following the name but the lady at the counter is more worried about grouping handfuls of sauce into piles for when the bag is ready, when it finally is. I don't know if it being in the mall makes the service so much slower but we won't come back. read more

I try to avoid reviews of chain restaurants in general purely because differentiating between the experiences of various locations can prove to be problematic. I am a fan of the Chick-Fil-A menu and experience no problems with this particular location meeting my personal standards of hot, tasty food. All of the employees seemed cheerful enough and I received my food promptly. The location, in a mall food court, made it a slightly odd place for me to stop while on a road trip, and the layout of the restaurant itself comes across as slightly strange. This is a great place to go with families. The food is excellent, the kids rooms fun for them and the service for a fast food restaurant is what I call Above and Beyond. The workers are well trained to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. The come to your tables, fill your drinks and beyond. I LOVE their chicken noodle soup and their waffle fries and chicken sandwiches. They have a great selection of dipping sauces. Only one complaint. Their Lemonade needs to be changed out as it has never been good. Other than that... perfection all around. read more

I needed a delivery for lunch. Very few places in Amarillo deliver. This Chick Fil A was willing to deliver. I know their food is good. They were happy to take my order for 35 people and deliver it the next day. I wish more restaurant in Amarillo understood this concept. read more
