And the food was top notch for a fast food Italian restaurant. My wife and I were very impressed. Anyone complaining probably lives in Amarillo. Prompt to take order. Slow for order to be delivered. How long does spaghetti take to be loaded and served at a fast food drive thru? About 10 minutes. They take your payment and just disappear behind that covered driv thru window. I suppose they can see out but you can't see in driv thru window. We ordered the kid's cheese pizza meal. It was an average sized slice and it came with a drink and 2 breadsticks. My son was pleased, so we had no complaints. Although skeptical, my husband ordered the chicken parmigiana and ended up being pleasantly surprised. I ordered the ziti with meat sauce. It was good. We both "made it a meal" so we each had a drink, 2 breadsticks, and a small house salad. For the price and convenience, we felt we got a good value. The reason I gave 4 stars and not five was due to the knives were dirty and they were out of clean forks. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. Ordered (online the day prior) a couple of pans of pasta for our traveling team of high school students and mentors and everyone really enjoyed the lunch. We wer happy that the price was reasonable; they provided serving utensils, plasticware, and paper plates; they carried the 2 big boxes of food to our vehicle, the food was warm and on time, and it included breadsticks! For ~35 people, we ordered a large pan of fettuccine alfredo, a large pan of spaghetti w/ marinara, a pan of meatballs, a pan of chicken, and a pan of parmesan broccoli. The catering menu had other options, also. They must want you to eat there because it is unlimited bread sticks dine in. But only 2 with carry out. I asked for extra sauce with my spaghetti. They charged me. Then I said I could only have marinara. Food was delicious for drive thru Italian. It is better spaghetti sauce than I had at some of my relatives' house's. We hadn't been to a Fazoli's in years, so when traveling through Amarillo we stopped for dinner. My wife had the BLT sub. I had the lasagne. The food was good! Hot, tasty, delivered quickly. The clerk was super friendly and cheerful. My only complaints are that the small one-ply napkins don't cut it in an ITALIAN place. This food is messy. Bigger napkins, please! There is no way this pigsty has 3 legitimate stars! We came In tonight from a long day of driving to pick up some food and use the restroom. Luckily we used the restrooms first because we'd have never known how unsanitary the sty was otherwise! The pics and video should speak for themselves. Nevertheless, firstly, the soap dispenser was empty, which likely means the staff isn't washing their hands before preparing food and cleaning the dining area. Secondly, the floors in the bathrooms, entryway and dining area are sticky filthy. The bathroom floor was littered with trash and the toilet filthy. It's clear the toilet, at least in the women's restroom, hasn't been cleaned in months. Grounds are equally trashy. If none of this bothers you, well, we can only imagine the state of your own home and don't be surprised if you end up sick! SCARY. read more

I've never heard of a fast-food Italian and I thought I wouldn't really like it, but I was absolutely wrong. This place and food was excellent plus the service was quick and friendly. Fazoli's is in a very good location so it's easy to park and to get out. The place is very nicely cleaned and the décor is just what a Italian place needs. Since it's was our first time here in a long time, it took us a very long time to decide, luckily the cashier had the patience to deal with us. I got the three cheese tortellini Alfredo and my dad and sister got the baked spaghetti and everything was amazing and tasted very fresh. The main thing that got our attention was the extraordinary bread sticks. Those things were outstanding from the seasoning to the texture of the bread. I've never had that good of bread sticks in my life and the food was also terrific. Now the only thing that bothered me was the files, but hey it's Amarillo. Overall grade: 4.5 read more

Ah, Amarillo Fazoli's--there will always be a place in my heart for you since you were my "first time". When I came back to San Diego I could never even remember your real name and used to really massacre the pronunciation of it. The concept of a drive-thru pasta/spaghetti joint is just so appealing and such a change from---well, hamburgers. I ate here a couple of times during my one-week visit and really appreciated the convenience and efficiency of this place. So the food doesn't rival the best Italian restaurants. It's fast cheap and good enough! I have eaten at a couple of others--Austin and Chandler, AZ but none will ever be the same as you! See you next time I'm in town!! July 7, 2017: Wow , three months makes a difference. The spaghetti was still delicious but this time there were flaws in the experience. I didn't really notice anything till I went up to get my spaghetti when it was ready and realized no one had come around passing out breadsticks while I was waiting which has happened every other time I've gone to a Fazoli's. They handed me the tray with my food on it and I took it to the table, then went to get myself some water. I realized I didn't have any utensils and when I went to track some down all they had was a little plastic bag with a plastic fork and knife and a napkin that was so thin it might as well have been a cheap quality Kleenex. There was no spoon to help wind the spaghetti up . In a place that sells pizza, breadsticks, etc you need access to napkins or better yet a roll of paper towels at the table. I had ordered bacon on my spaghetti which was $1.50 extra but it was only about a tablespoon or two of bacon pieces. I ordered a side of broccoli for $1.61 which I thought was a very reasonable price but it turned out to be just a little custard bowl full of small florets. And there were only two breadsticks. They were as delicious as ever but I looked back at the picture I took in April and it showed three breadsticks in the paper wrapper. One of the appealing things about Fazoli's was the way an employee would walk around consistently offering people breadsticks before, during, and after they ate and even give them extra to take home. That's the sort of thing that makes you want to go back to a place. If they take that away they lose some of their appeal. I will probably give them another chance but maybe ask them if I can have more breadsticks or if they limit you to 2 now. I'm not usually a big bread eater but their breadsticks are too good not to eat. I also noticed there weren't very many people in there so I wonder if business has dropped off. We had fazoli's to-go for the first time since the start of the pandemic. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I got a side Cesar salad and the cheese ravioli. The Cesar salad was still completely frozen; salad & cheese. There was no dressing at all. I threw it away. The ravioli... my 5 year old could have made; literally sauce & noodles. Okay I have been here on numerous occasions. Me and the wife get their gluten free pasta. I got the chicken carbonara. The serving was large and the sauce was good, but the chicken portion was extremely tiny and so was the broccoli. Couldn't believe just a few pieces of each. I am not the only one to complain about the size of the portions of meat. The chicken pesto for my wife had a huge portion of chicken though. The meatballs weren't bad and had a good sauce and the cheese on top was really good. If this doesn't change I am not going back. read more

I ordered dinner online to be delivered to my hotel via grub hub..I specifically requested napkins and silverware as I am in a hotel, and generally don't carry my Swiss Army knife with me. I also ordered bottled water, which I paid extra for in the meal deal. Didn't get silverware, plasticware, chopsticks, napkins, water or enjoy your dinner. The lack of people's ability to do their job with any efficiency, enthusiasm, or intelligence is amazing to me. I will never eat from or at a Fazoli's again, nor will I ever use grub hub. I was pretty disappointed by this Fazoli's. I don't have one near me, so I was excited to see it on my radar when passing through town. I'm not sure what the problem was, but it seemed to take the woman at the window forever to put a thought together when taking my order, and when I asked her to make mine into a meal. They forgot my breadsticks and gave me a cesar salad instead of the house salad I had asked for... After a long day of road travel, I'm just too tired to get back in my car and go back and have them fix it. At least it was scalding hot. Love love Fazolis! Passing thru town and had to come in for some comfort food. This is the first time we got buzzers to take to the table with us. Then we get our own food! Usually delivery to your table with a number you get to put on the table.. oh well we ARE in Texas.. lol. This one is quite busier tho too. AND it's Xmas shopping time out to boot. I always get baked spag but I forgot that I usually order meat sauce.. waaaa I forgot. The marinara is ok and sweeter. I like the meat sauce cause it is more herby and savory. Next time. The ceaser is good for $2. It has a nice amount of shaved fresh parm on it then served with a baggie of croutons and side dressing. Pretty damn good!!
