Biscuit bitch is one of those touristy spots where even if you're a Seattle local, like me, you have to get every now and then. The team on 3rd Ave is overall better than the one on first. They are always friendly, fairly quick.. ( more on that later) and the food is always hot and tasty. I tend to go for the sausage egg and cheese "bitchwich) and a side of cheese grits. I haven't been let down yet. See pics below for the goods. You have to get there early , especially on the weekends. The wait could vary anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour in some cases, depending on the time of day. It's pretty spendy, so be prepared for that. read more

Went here for one veggie sandwich. Told me the wait was 15 minutes but I waited 30 minutes. Then, there was bacon on my sandwich but no offer for a refund- not even a partial- not even an offer for free water. Luckily my no pork eating is a preference and not religious- although they didn't bother to ask. I won't be back. Poor food management means someone will eventually end up very sick! read more

I really wanted to love this place and maybe what I got wasn't a good choice so I want to try again whenever I'm back in Seattle. I was a bit disappointed but I liked the food enough to finish it. We got the grits plate since I really wanted some eggs and something warm in the cold. The service was also really nice and the employees were sweet. I searched for a place that had gluten-free food. This place came up and it was within walking distance from my hotel. It's been years since I've had biscuits and gravy because of the gluten and because most biscuit gravy is made with sausage. I could've taken a bath in the gravy. The biscuit was also extremely good. What a way to kick off a weekend in Seattle! This comfort food was the best thing to welcome us into the city. The service was personable, kind, and helpful. There is one window to order at. I got the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich which was full of flavor - the biscuits are clearly made in house fresh. There is no seating inside, and they get you your order in about 10 minutes. I would recommend eating it as you walk to your next destination. Would definitely return for a good breakfast pick-me-up. read more

BLUF: Go to the other location if you NEED to go. Hungry after. SPEC of bacon. Dry biscuit. Food (2/5): The food was mid. Nothing special about it. The biscuit was a bit dry and there was 1 SPEC of bacon on my Bitchwich. We went elsewhere to eat after because it was NOT filling and not what we expected. Service (5/5): Service was quick and the lady at the window was very nice! Ambiance (2/5): There are like 5 2-seater tables there. It's also in a not-so-safe area, so I'd recommend if you want to go here, go to the other location. TLDR: Don't expect bacon in the Bitchwich, limited seating, not really safe. read more

As someone from the South, I was very impressed by the food here. I ordered the Gritty Cheesy Scrambled Bitch, and it was truly splendid. I finished the whole thing in one sitting. It was a hodgepodge of breakfast foods just piled on top of each other, but somehow they all complemented each other. I think the biscuits on the bottom were just dry enough to counterbalance the rest of the melty/liquidy ingredients. Great flavor. This location does not have indoor seating, just some tables and chairs around the outside for dining. Seems like mostly a takeout/grab and go situation. I ordered online ahead of time, but it's possible I went at an unpopular time because I showed up at 12pm on a weekday and there was no line. I dined at one of the outdoor seating tables and felt like there weren't too many people walking past me or coming to get food at this location. This was a welcome change after being a typical Seattle tourist for a few days. But other reviews say it can be super busy, so maybe it was just a fluke for me. Definitely warrants a try when visiting Seattle. read more

Delicious fluffy biscuits loaded with all the good stuff! We ordered in advance for pickup which is highly recommended during busy times because the wait can get pretty long. I ordered their biscuit sandwich with the hot link, cheese, and egg. It was so good! Portions are pretty hearty! Definitely could have split one thing with my husband but he wanted his own and for the hot link biscuits smothered in gravy. Also very good! Recently ate here while staying at the Belltown Inn. I had the "easy bitch + bacon". Overall, felt like it was overrated. The ordering was kind of irritating on the mobile QR code and there didn't seem to be anyone taking orders at the walk-up and then of course there was the 30 minute wait and nowhere to sit. I just kind of felt like it didn't live up to the hype but then I mean biscuits and gravy aren't all that exciting anyway. I literally told my husband that my sisters were better while we were eating them. Nothing bad about the food, just not exciting or amazing in anyway. Aww well. So glad I made the effort to go to Biscuit Bitch while on a recent trip to Seattle. My coworkers and I were walking over to see the Space Needle, so we opted to stop by the Belltown location for breakfast. Upon arrival at 9:30 a.m. on a holiday weekend, it was only a 15 minute wait. We put in our orders and almost minutes later the wait time was set back to 30 minutes. I got the biscuit and gravy and it was delicious - a very generous serving. Both of my coworkers got different sandwiches and, again, we were not anticipating them being so big. The biscuits were fresh and so delicious. And the service and vibe of the restaurant is just so unique and fun. read more

This review is for their 3rd Ave (Belltown) location. I actually didn't realize this is not a sit in restaurant, although they do have maybe 4-5 tables on the sidewalk. You walk up and either order via QR code or if there's a cashier (through the window) available, they can take your order there. That said, I would recommend placing your order online ahead of time, and make sure the correct location is selected! We shared the Hot Mess Bitch, which was biscuit and sausage gravy topped with shredded cheddar, garlic grits, two eggs, split grilled Louisiana Hot Link and pickled jalapeños. Stick to your ribs/filling and so delicious! Would definitely come back again, (might want to try their other location near Pike Place Market). read more

I placed an order ahead given the review recommendations, and surprisingly my order was ready within 15 minutes! It was Monday mid-morning which can explain why, but even then there was a small line waiting for their food when I arrived to pick up my order. I had the Smokin' Hot Bitch which was a 9/10 in my opinion. This was a bit heavy for me (and definitely made me full for 12 hours) but the spiciness of the jalapenos and hot link added a nice compliment to the gravy and cheese and both sides balanced each other out well along with the biscuits. read more

Amazing food! $9 for a biscuitwich (biscuit sandwich) absolutely delicious. My wife got the classic biscuit and gravy. You can't go wrong with this menu! Highly recommend ordering online. However, during week days, the line isn't insane. Staff is friendly and cutely calls you "bitch." What can I get ya, bitch? Very cute. *editing to add: no inside seating. Minimal outside seating. This place is a wonderful little breakfast gem. At the time we visited Seattle, they did not offer in done dining. There was a long line waiting for food, but I would recommend ordering online and picking up to avoid the long wait outside. Everything was delicious! Heard about this place from coworkers while on a work assignment. We decided to try this location. This is practically a counter where you order food to take away. They were very accomodating and kind. I am sure they could tell we were from out of town. Aside from food they had t-shirts, aprons, totes and bottles of sauce for sale. There were a couple of tables and some chairs on the sidewalk and we ate there. My friends raved about the Smokin' Hot Seattle Bitch and the Straight Up Bitch. I enjoyed my Bitchwich which is a biscuit sandwich with over hard egg, cheddar cheese, and a pork sausage patty and their house Bitchy Sauce. The biscuit was fluffy and light inside with a slightly crisp golden brown crust outside. There is a perfect balance of buttery flavor that is both savory and slightly sweet. I could have gone for seconds. Will certainly come back soon. read more

This place is more than just famous! It has a following for good reasons! Lots of first timers, but plenty of regulars! How do I know, you wonder? Every so often the staff comes out to ask and to help the new folks order! I'm from the South and my grandmas would have been chasing the staff down to wash their mouths out with soap and shaking a finger at 'em for their gruff ways. My grandmas made great biscuits, but they never made great biscuits like these bitches can! SERIOUSLY, if you are in town, you HAVE to try this place. Yes, the biscuits are great, but it is the heavenly/devilicious items that accompany these masterful works of taste and art! Filling! Mmm give me more warm, buttery biscuits please! The wait for your food could be quite long; it was a 45-minute wait when I went on a Sunday afternoon. There's a physical sign in front of the store that will give an estimate of how much expected wait there will be. You can order online or in-person, but if you order online, there's no option to schedule your pickup time since it depends on their current wait time. I took a chance and placed an online order ~40 minutes before I got there and was able to pick my food up right as I arrived. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside the storefront for seating, but they were occupied by people waiting for their food orders, so we went to eat our food at Seattle Center. Gritty Scrambled Cheesy Bitch: The portion is very filling for one person. Everything tasted great, though sometimes it seemed a tad too salty. It was a lovely meal and I'd come back to try a bitchwitch in the future. read more

I didn't like having to scan a QR code to order outside, but I understand how it's more effective compared to cramming inside and waiting longer to order. The food was pretty good though I'm not a huge fan of the Bitchin' Sauce they use. I feel it would work better as a burger sauce rather than a breakfast sauce. My husband tried the Canadian Bitch and said it was insanely good. You can't go wrong with homemade biscuits in any situation and I enjoy the simplicity of this joint. read more

This was right next door to my hotel! I'm from the south so I love biscuits. I give them a 3 because the ratio of biscuit to egg and bacon is not great. You get a LOT of biscuit but not much egg or bacon. There was about a 15-20 min wait for food but it wasn't that bad. The service was good! The workers were really nice! read more

The name alone was enough to get to try this place. When I was in Miami, I went to a resturant called "Bacon Bitch" and I was curious if this was similar. Sadly, it is not. Also, note that they are only open for breakfast/brunch hours from 8-1. The menu is limited to biscuit related items, so if you're a fan of biscuits and gravy & Southern fare, this is the place to go. For now, the Belltown location is strictly a take away business and there is no dine in option as of this writing. They do have patio table seating, but it is limited to a few tables in front of the business by the sidewalk. If the street noise doesn't bother you and you can score a table, eat it there. Don't bother calling the phone to place and order; you will be directed to order online--which is very easy. Or you can take your chances and order at the window and wait. Even with ordering in advance, there may still be a short wait for your order; they pride themselves on making the orders fresh and it is never sitting under a heating lamp waiting for you. Depending on the time, the lines can be long, so consider ordering in advance. The menu is 'bitch' themed, every item is bitch related so you're either ordering a Biscuit Bitch (has gravy) or a Bitchwich (breakfast sandwich). Pretty cool. We ordered the Easy Bitch, Hot Mess Bitch and the Gritty Scrambled Cheesy Bitch. It was a lot of food and I wasn't able to finish it in one sitting. I loved the grits and my only complaint about the scrambled cheesy bitch was that the eggs were a bit overcooked for my taste. Had I known better, I would have said not to cook the eggs so hard. The gravy was delicious as was the biscuits. The hot mess bitch came with a hot link PLUS pickled jalapeno slices on top. I can normally tolerate hot links, it was a little spicy for me and the jalapeno slices definitely kicked it up a notch and I had to brush them aside. The Easy Bitch was your basic biscuits and gravy---what's not to like? Definitely worth checking out. read more

Best biscuit I've had in a long time. Flaky and buttery everything you want in a delicious biscuit. I had the egg n cheese with bitchy gravy and a cup of their pumpkin spice latte. Salt and sweet combo was a perfect pairing. Heads up, order from their web menu ahead of time because the dining room is closed even though they advertise there is seating. Very limited out door seating. If you must go in person, be prepared to wait about 15 minutes. There is a small walk up window to place your order then you just have to wait until they call your name. It's not in the best part of town with a lot of drug use activity going on and next to no street parking either. Just be prepared if you are coming to this location. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Kim S.

A self-taught home cook who became interested in the art of cooking when she lived in a trailer park in Florida in the 90's, Kimmie Spice, owner, learned to cook while her children were napping. "I'd watch cooking shows like The French Chef, Yan Can Cook and The Frugal Gourmet, but my favorite show was Cookin' Cajun with Justin Wilson," Spice recalls, "The chef was a Louisiana humorist and storyteller, and I thought he was brilliant! He'd add a little wine to food and then a little wine to the chef by taking a big chug out of the bottle and saying, 'Ooowee! I Guar-On-Tee!' That show taught me that cooking doesn't have to be taken so seriously. It can be riotous fun, simple and delicious all at the same time. That is exactly the atmosphere I strive to create at Biscuit Bitch, a little trailer park southern hospitality combined with fun, eclectic comfort food."

Street parking, but spaces open pretty quickly.

We tried the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew and the Blue Berry Matcha. I love my sweet coffees, and the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew hits the spot. It was delicious and you can taste the flavors of the cereal. I'm not a matcha fan, but the flavors from the blueberry paired nicely with the matcha. I would definitely recommend this as well. The dining area and bathrooms were clean, wifi was good, and the staff was nice. This place checks all the boxes for a welcoming coffee stop.

Taichi Sprouts is milder and more grassy, but still carries a gentle sweetness. And if you're unsure what to order, Jasmine Green is always a safe bet, you can't go wrong with its classic floral aroma.
