This reviews a little late, but I thought relevant as I saw some had a similar experience. When planning a Seattle trip, my partner really wanted to eat at this place. At the time, they were only doing takeout orders at the front & online. When we ordered, we were told that it was going to be a really long wait (at least 45 min), but that we would get notified when the order was ready, so we didn't have to wait around. As we were staying a few blocks away, we decided to wait in our room until the order was ready. 1.5 hours later and we never got the notification that our food was ready. We felt like that was way too long, but knew it was a popular place with a lot of people waiting, so we weren't sure if this was just a normal wait time. By that time, we just decided to check in person to see if it was ready. It was actually really difficult to get ahold of someone to ask the status of our order, which felt frustrating. We kept trying to catch the eye of the person handing out the orders, but we just ended up waiting in line again to get someone's attention. Turns out, our order had been ready for a while and had been sitting out. At this point the biscuit sandwich was basically cold/colder than room temp. I understand it's a popular place, and I'm sure the food would be a lot better if it was fresh/actually warm, but if you're going to tell customers that they will be notified that their food is ready, I would expect that we would actually be notified. If you come here, I'd recommend just waiting right outside even if it's a long wait. Overall, I really wish I got to try the biscuits fresh, but I feel like this past experience kind of discourages me from wanting to try again the next time I'm in the area. read more

Damn they make a good biscuit. We stopped by on a Saturday morning, and wasn't surprised to see a queue. We were able to order right away, the staff were super friendly. It took a bit to get our food, but they warn you right off the bat that there's going to be a wait. When our food came up, it was hot and real fresh. I went with a hot link sandwich and good lord I'm still thinking about it. The biscuit was massive and the hot links had a great heat. I love the sauce on the sandwich and my only complaint is that I wanted more. Everyone else loved their orders as well. Biscuit bitch is one of those touristy spots where even if you're a Seattle local, like me, you have to get every now and then. The team on 3rd Ave is overall better than the one on first. They are always friendly, fairly quick.. ( more on that later) and the food is always hot and tasty. I tend to go for the sausage egg and cheese "bitchwich) and a side of cheese grits. The place was hopping, but seeing I was new to this place, the friendly staff answered my questions and handled my order quickly and with a smile. I had the Easy Bitch, biscuits, gravy and 2 eggs over easy along with a med coffee. The coffee was VERY good. The biscuit was as well. It held up well being smothered in a very tasty gravy. And if you like over easy, the egg was done perfectly. If you are looking for healthy food, this selection isn't it. If you want to have a cheat day, live a little and enjoy, stop in, it is worth your time.
