Build Your Own (1 Topping) Strawberries & Creme Breakfast Sando

Went on my Seattle trip and it was absolutely amazing. So good we went to have breakfast twice there! The employees were so nice and fast as well.

Ok dining space. Good waffles. Better toppings. Chill service. Great experience. I tried both a savory and a sweet style waffle and nothing more so I dont have much to say about anything but their waffles. Probably my favorite chicken and waffles ive had, but not by a lot. The sweet apple waffle was also really good. I appreciate that the waffles and ingredients are already pretty cut into even bites which made my experience that much better. Way less mess and faster to eat. Ill have to come back to sample some of their other offerings next time. I like the interior decoration and how clean everything is, but beware it is small. So small there isnt table seating. Just bar top styled seating for maybe 10 ish people for the whole restaraunt. Feels like a small ramen bar. So small there isnt really room to wait in line to order. Oh yea, you have to order from a touchscreen kiosk. I think there are 2 machines. It was an easy enough process. The only thing I wanted more of was more savory options and for the spicy chicken to be a hit spicier or maybe a spicy sauce on the side. Either way my food was delicious. Filling??? Not so much. 3 hours after eating i was ready for another meal, but it was good enough. For the price I felt like I got my monies worth. Oh, and I didn't notice a restroom so I had to run to the market after eating. Oh yea, good luck finding parking. Probably the hardest time finding parking that ive had in a long time. Luckily its the pikes area so its worth the adventure.

This place feels like a hole-in-the-wall even though it's opposite many eateries that border Pike Place Market and has outside lights that are yellow and very noticeable. The inside is quite small and has only bar seating closest to the kitchen area. Whether you dine in or take out, you first order your food up at the kiosk at the outside window, then either wait outside or take a seat inside. My friend and I got here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and bar seating was about halfway filled up. We each got spicy chicken & waffles and a breakfast sando, and even though there was a slight bit of wait for each, we were both very satisfied with what we got! The spicy chicken and waffles has just the right amount of spice for me to handle, and had its own unique flavor profile even after having syrup on top of it for the waffles. For something both sweet and savory (which I usually don't prefer), this combination here works. Chicken was more on the salty side, though. As for the breakfast sando, it had an egg and some bacon in it. It was very simple but I prefer that and they made this one very fresh; the toasted bread was so good, and I was definitely tempted to get another one. As a eandom note, I also loked how they provided a hand wipe near our entrees. Portions here are small, and I do feel the items are priced quite high in proportion to the portions, but for me the taste and feel of the place more than makes up for it. My friend and I even got a free sticker of their logo from our server since he noticed the two of us talking a lot about food while we were eating. I felt very welcomed here and would come back here for another quick bite!

Everything was super tasty... a lil pricy for what you get but it's pike place area so I get it. We went there on our food tour and had to go back the next day for more.

Chicken & waffles and grandma apple pie waffles

How this place got 4.5 stars I will never know. Came in here with our kids on a Sunday afternoon. We were on the way to another cafe down the street but got attracted by the pictures outside. We ordered a Grandmas Apple Pie waffles and a Chicken & Waffles with 1 extra piece of chicken. Total came out to be $33. And no I did not tip since we sat at the bar and there was no service other than making the food. I digress. The food was terrible. Waffles were super soggy like frozen food. The sauce tastes like fast food McDonald's apple pie. (Honestly I would have been happier). Instead of a nice piece of fried chicken thigh, we got frozen chicken fingers on waffles. Yup, I would give 0 stars if I could. I never waste food. Even if it was free I might have to turn it down. Yes that bad. Never mind it was not cheap.

Mochi waffle was dense but delicious!! Bacon was perfectly crispy and chicken was great. Highly recommend! The prices were kinda high for what you get but I guess it's a "specialty" waffle, and it was fantastic -worth it if you're looking for a special treat! You can order at the kiosk and then choose to go inside for counter seating only or take it to go!

Had a 4 hours to kill before my flight at SeaTac, decided to stop by before jumping on the Soundtransit. The waffles didn't disappoint! I got their newest one Cookies & Creme, and it was insanely good. Kinda pricy, but you can definitely taste the quality! I want to try their other options next time I'm in the area!

Stopped by for some breakfast and this place did not disappoint. Located downtown across from the market, this clean shop has limited seating but is also easy to place a to-go order. I will say for a to-go order, the wait is too long as it was about 20 minutes. However, the food was fresh and had lots of flavor. The chicken and waffle has crispy chicken, fluffy waffles, and rich syrup. I would have preferred the syrup on the side as it was a lot (but I also did not ask). For the sando, the bread was flaky and was a wonderful sandwich. For a drink I grabbed a Thai iced tea which was delicious and complemented the meal. Will be back soon for more dishes.

Hands down one of the BEST chicken and waffles I've ever had! If you're even thinking about chicken and waffles, stop what you're doing and get yourself to this place immediately! The Mochi waffles are golden, fluffy, and have that perfect texture -- like they were made with love and magic. The fried chicken? Absolutely next level. Lightly breaded on the outside and juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. What really sets this spot apart is the balance -- they don't just throw chicken on a waffle and call it a day. Everything is thoughtfully put together. I got mine with sriracha maple, cheese, and Mr.Waffle's Way (Bacon and garlic chips) that tied it all together perfectly. Every bite was sweet, savory, and addictive. Staff was super friendly, the space and vibe was small, cozy but upbeat, and the food came out hot, fresh, and high quality. Honestly, this place deserves a line out the door. I'll definitely be coming back -- probably sooner than I should. Highly recommend. 10/10.

What a charming little waffle shop! This place is an absolute dream for anyone with a love for all things warm, crispy, and sweet. There's plenty of savory options too! I popped in on a sunny Saturday afternoon and was instantly delighted when I saw chicken & waffles on the menu. The atmosphere is pretty chill & laid-back and with a beautiful mural on the wall. Can't wait to come back and try some of the sweet options!

Love this place so much, specializes in waffle and refreshing drinks Mr. Waffle has such a warm and lively atmosphere, decor is also a plus! Highly recommend their bucket drinks as they are refreshing, good size, and not too sweet. The owner is also such a kind person, always great to chit chat with him! Definitely a go to spot - Don't miss out!

Oh man! So good! I thought this place was a vibe with nostalgic music and a Henry mural ! The portions are just right and not too filling. The Grandma's Apple Pie was the perfect texture to accompany the mochi waffle. I can't wait to try out their savory items! The barista mentioned Chicken & Waffles being their top seller!

Mochi waffle covered in layers of strawberries, bacon, almonds, and bonus powdered sugar and mint sprig

My husband and I were downtown for brunch and decided we wanted waffles; I wanted to visit a place with good mochi waffles. Thankfully Mr. Waffle was in easy walking distance from our bus stop (I highly recommend walking or bussing into downtown rather than driving). My husband got a waffle with strawberries and maple syrup, and I got my waffle strawberries, bacon, and almonds. We were both super happy and satisfied with our super tasty waffles. The flavor combinations were great, and the waffles were perfect, crispy on the outside and slightly chewy (from the mochi rice flour) on the inside. I also got a 16oz lychee green iced tea (in a small reusable handled and lidded bucket, which amuses me to no end) with lychee jelly, lemon slices, and surprise mint sprigs (not listed in the menu description), which I think it where too many flavors. I think it would have been better without the mint, since it seemed to detract from the lychee. The speed of service was reasonably paced compared to some other places downtown. We went during the lunch rush, and there is only one person to do all the work behind the counter. The cafe was clean and tidy. The shop itself is rather narrow with one long counter and might seat eight people. It wasn't too cramped, since most people ordered their food to-go. If you don't mind being a bit cozy with other diners, you should be ok, otherwise the cafe is not far from the Elliott Bay waterfront, which has nice views and seating seats. I have also pre-ordered online for pick-up, which was super easy.

Fresh and yummy waffles. Took my teen for her 18th with two friends. They loved their waffles and their buckets of lemonade and Thai tea.

Walking in, the place has a really cozy vibe, but it's pretty small. Tables are close together and seating is limited. The food did take a little longer than expected, but honestly it was worth it. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was sooo good!! crispy, flavorful, everything you want. The only downside was the waffles, they were a bit thin and not crispy at all, like a pancake. I'm hoping that was just an off day. She also hyped up the honey butter biscuit since it's what they're known for, and I get why. It was SO good. Definitely the standout for me and something I'd come back for alone.
