OBSESSED!! If you're like me and enjoy Jalapeño anything and everything on your bagel, Olive 8 is the best I've had by FAR. I was recommended to try the Jalapeño Pepper Jack bagel with Jalapeño Cream Cheese by the employees. Let me tell you, it was toasted to perfection and they aren't stingy with the spread. The spread was creamy and oozing out of the bagel. If I lived in Seattle, I'd have this bagel at least once a day. Plus, the ladies working there were very nice and provided great recommendations to myself and my friends. This bagel shop is connected to the hotel however, there is a good amount of seating to enjoy your bagel on site. Based on the bagel itself, solid 10/10. Give it a try!! read more

Solid bagel shop. It's a bit pricey, but the bagels are good. If you order one of their bagel sandwiches you can choose what bagel you want to use. And all the bagels are "to-go" so they are packaged. So you can order, pick up, and head out. I personally like their lox bagel or I get a sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese on the side and that's great too. My boyfriend enjoys their turkey club. I don't really like their avocado toast bagel. It tastes basically like a salad on bread and I'm not a big fan of sprouts. But if I were to get it again, I would add an egg to give it more flavor contrast. They have great service here. I don't feel like I wait too long for my order (like 10 minutes max). There can be a line sometimes in the morning but it moves steadily. They have a few tables and chairs to sit at around the shop, so I usually wait there after ordering. Also one time their payment kiosk was down and the person at the counter personally informed everyone in line that they could only do room charge. I really appreciated that they did that instead of you waiting until you get to the front of the line to figure out you can't use Apple Pay. Also another time I had to change my order after I paid to another bagel sandwich and they didn't even charge for the difference! So nice! The bagel shop is inside the Hyatt, right though the lobby. The Hyatt has a sleek design and the bagel shop is no different. Overall when I stay at the Hyatt I always look forward to getting bagels from here. Great bagels and great service. read more

Stopped by here for a bagel. The line was long because of an event at the convention center, however it moved at a good pace. There were no bagel sandwiches available, just bagels and cream cheese. I got an Asiago cheese and chive cream cheese on the side. The bagel was ok, I've had worse and much better. Bagels aren't made here. There was barely enough cream cheese to cover the bagel, which was disappointing because it was tasty. Overall, not bad for a bagel stand inside of a hotel lobby. read more

Just okay. It's inside the Hyatt Olive 8 so it feels like fast hotel food. Definitely not the quality of most bagel shops.

7am is probably the worst. All business guests are getting a bite before going into whatever. My bagel sandwich was excellent: toasted, spread well, well made egg and sausage. The coffee was from Victrola and made perfectly. I will come probably just for coffee. read more

Weekend morning rush and the employees here were so accommodating and positive with every customer. Answering all of my questions as well as many of the customers before me and after me having difficult orders etc. they asked your name and thanked you by name and called out your name when your food was ready. I got everything bagel and garden herb cream cheese with a. Hazelnut latte. It was great. I got my latte immediately and waited a few mins for my food. This location is in the lobby of a hotel. I enjoy staying at Hyatt hotels. Olive 8 is one of my favorites since they have a spacious spa, modern rooms, and a convenient cafe. The cafe uses a La Marzocco espresso machine for beverages. They brew Victrola coffee and sell Blazing Bagels which are both local companies. Food is fresh and the beverages are delicious. Yah, it's a bit pricey but it's convenient for people on the go and it's located downtown. I had a Turkey Club plain bagel. It was really good! If you're a guest at the hotel and need a quick bite for breakfast then by all means stop by. If you're not a guest at the hotel don't go out of your way to come here. Just go directly to Victrola Coffee or Blazing Bagels. read more

Came here this summer. Great bagels and amazing posibilities with the sandwich fillings and bagel breads. Service can be slow in a rush and it seems like they can run out of certain bagels often. There isn't much seating but as expected for being in a hotel lobby. I'd love to go again to get their prosciutto and apple bagel sandwich with the jalapeno pepper jack bagel! read more

We travel quite a bit and enjoy the Hyatt. This morning we purchased a large breakfast for our group and the bagels were delicious. My only issue it with the servers attitude when I kindly asked her to add the 2 items I payed for and they forgot. Assuming that wasn't much to ask, her inconvenienced nature proved otherwise. Rude at the counter and upon delivery of said bagel. Aside for cruddy service this place could be a 5 star breakfast experience... just don't assume you'll be met with kindness if they mess up your $60+ order. read more

We had our breakfast there this morning and the experience was terrible. The bagels were burnt and charred on the edges. The ladies were so rude and insulting. We are vegetarians and requested the lady preparing the bagels to wear new gloves, as she handles dripping meat pieces. She was offended that we made such a request. They do not follow basic hygienic practices at all; prepare the food wearing the same gloves they wear to do the cleaning around the counter and the wash basin.
