Great coffee shop/bakery that took over the Specialty's space. The remodeling inside makes the place look sleek and modern and there's a ton of seating for groups and solo diners. Cool overhead lights, too. I had a blueberry danish which was fresh and sweet and crispy and chewy - all the things a danish should be. Also had a vanilla latte which was great. Service was fast without being rushed and friendly.

Super cute cafe in downtown seattle! I got the bluberry coffee cake and it was ok. The cake itself was a little too dense. Their kouign amann was phenomenal though. I brought it home and heated it up (the only way to truly enjoy a kouign aman). Very friendly staff. Look forward to going back!

Pricey! 2 medium Americanos and an applet tart - just under $30 service was quick and they brought coffees to table. Americano was weak! Skimped on the coffee but apple tart was tasty. For the prices, not likely a place I would frequent often.

I got an iced butterscotch latte with a tomato & ricotta cheese croissant and both items were 10/10. Butterscotch is not a flavor I normally come by at coffee shops so I just had to try it out and heavens almighty was it delicious!! It was sweet but not too sweet, the espresso wasn't burnt or bitter, and it reminded me of when my grandma gave me this candy as a kid when I'd beg for a sweet treat. As for the croissant it was a winner for me as well. I mean it's tomato, cheese, and flaky buttery bread so not much space for things to go wrong. Service was quick and if you choose to dine in they'll give you a number so once you find a spot to post up in they'll bring out your order right away. Seating here was also immaculate, so many options to choose from tables to stools to couches to booths this places has it all. I was only in town for work so I'm sad I can't come here on the regular but if you're in the area definitely please check this place out!!

    The inside. Lovely.

I've been watching this place come to fruition and it looks like it's worth it. The inside is like a beautiful French cafe. And I love a separate pastry counter and coffee bar area - one of my favorite looks. You just feel like so many good things are going on. I enjoyed a delicious jasmine tea with honey and a slice of buche de noel. A delightful treat.

We came here after seeing a show at the 5th Avenue Theater. It is really close by. On a Saturday afternoon, it was about half full. It was not very noisy. They were playing music that we could hear pretty well. We had a choice of multiple different types of seating and tables. There are some comfortable options and some more business type options. We ordered iced lattes and blueberry lemon cake. We took a number to our table and waited for it to come. It all came out really fast. The servers and cashier were all nice and helpful. The coffee was really good. The cake was also really good. It had a nice layer of cream that was intensely lemony. It was a nice place to sit, talk and eat for a bit after a show. I had a nice time here.

I've never left a review but I'm visiting Seattle and this was the best coffee shop I've been to so far. Great ambiance, coffee flavors I've never had, and service was so nice. Def get the latte flight!

The baked goods, food, and coffee are delicious here. It's such a pretty cafe to sit and chat for a bit. The salmon we had was cooked well and tasted fresh. The bakery items were soft, pillowy and just the right sweetness. You wait in line and place your order, they'll call your name to get your order for the coffee and place your food at your table if you're sitting. I totally forgot to take pictures of the bakery items...too eager to eat them lol. Well worth it though.

Beautiful relaxing space with lots of seating. Iced mocha is really good. Service is good, employees will bring drinks and food to your table if you dine in.

Upon arrival can't help noticed SO MUCH CRUMBS on the tables, chairs, floor After we got one pastries, we get in!! All the pastries are so deliciously flakey! Baristas were kind and answered all our questions, quick service, we ordered multiple items so we got a number and they brought our food to us. The ordering area where the pastries, coffee bar is on on side of the cafe while the sitting area on the other side. They had a beautiful Christmas tree which made it feel really homey. There are table/ chair or couch/ chair areas. We had our 2 kids with us and it was comfortable for us

My husband and my cousin are OBSESSED with chocolate, specifically chocolate cake so when I read all the amazing reviews of this "Dutch Chocolate Cake" I said, we HAVE to come here and I'm glad we did. It was perfectly moist and not too decadent where you couldn't finish it. Absolutely worth it. My other cousin got the Cardamom Knot, but unfortunately, that was more on the dry side. The next time I'm in town, I'm very curious about the Mokka Dome and Matcha Dome! Their interior is so beautiful and carefully crafted; was totally my style that I took photos for inspo. There's ample seating and just a great place to visit!

This is a beautiful cafe with ample interior seating. There is a kiosk at the front where you're able to order drinks or anything from the breakfast or lunch menu but it doesn't include pastry items-- super convenient for folks who don't have time to wait in line if there is a long line of patrons. There is also quite an assortment of pastry items in the case to select from as well. My sister and I ordered the København Latte, Golden Pear Cappuccino, Churro Cruffin, and a Pear Creme Brûlée. For the latte I had the option of either ordering a hot drink or a cold one and I chose regular milk as my base. I wasn't sure if I was going to finish the drink and the Creme brûlée so I requested for my order to be "to go". Since my sister's order was a dine-in, we picked up a number card and found a seat. A server then came by with our drinks. Neither of the drinks really impressed us. The Cappuccino felt more "peppery" than "pear sweetness". The latte had faint almond notes and a stronger cardamom after taste. The pastries were a home run for us! The pear Creme brûlée has actual cut slices of pear in the center with some creme layered underneath. It wasn't super crunchy or crisp but the brûlée exterior was very tasty. The cruffin was slightly more oily on the outside than I would have liked but the layers on the cruffin were so good-- crisp on the edges yet soft on the inside. I'm not sure why it's called a "churro cruffin" since I don't taste much of cinnamon but the vanilla filling was really nice and paste-y-- not the runny liquid type. Would love to come by again next time I'm in the area to try out more of their pastries!

It smells so wonderful and warm when you enter and it's really a feast for your eyes. Everything looks so delicious and it's hard to choose. The staff was ver patient with me. My "go to" is the most famous twice baked almond croissant. On this visit ordered the "go to" , blueberry ginger scone, ratatouille sandwich, turkey havarti sandwich, banana bread, and some Americanos to go. This is not a sit down cafe so we thoroughly enjoyed them in the parked car. :) Every bite should be savored. Extraordinary!

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! Through several visits: Baguette, Large ($7.95) - Great baguette with bubbling golden exterior complete with the perfectly baked crust even after waiting 3 hours before cutting in and eating. The interior has the perfect moisture level and is delightfully soft and chewy. The taste overall has a deep developed flavor. This is a great baguette. The only problem - the price. I can find ones for half the price that are maybe 80% as good as this one. (5/5) Seasonal Biscuit ($4.50) - This biscuit definitely isn't Southern-style. It's more of a drop biscuit, combining a relatively soft and tender interior with a nice exterior crust, without any flakiness or layering. The interior is almost cake-like in texture and crumb, and is plenty moist. They add plenty of fresh black pepper inside. It's distributed very evenly, giving a peppery bite with every mouthful. Parmesan is added to the top of the biscuit before baking, giving plenty of umami and richness but only on the upper layer. (4/5) Green Vinaigrette Cafeteria Style Pizza ($6.25) - The pizza is kept under a warming lamp, so it starts getting a little dried out after I assume a couple of hours spent there. I do love the base though - it's focaccia-like giving a really crunchy dark golden brown crust underneath, which supports the toppings. The pizza slice has lots of structural integrity and doesn't flop over. There's a base of fragrant concentrated tomato paste-like flavor which is topped with a very even layer of cheese. Since it's warmed rather than freshly baked, the cheese starts congealing a bit. The cheese is peppered with parsley, garlic, and a bunch of mustard seeds, giving a special zing. The toppings go all the way to the sides of the pie, making it great for people who dislike crust. Even though it's cafeteria style pizza that's kept under heat lamps, I quite liked it. I wonder if I can get a really fresh slice if I get there right at 11AM when lunch starts. (5/5) Chocolate Croissant ($6.10) - Great lamination with a very aesthetic honeycomb pattern. Baked on the harder side, causing fantastic crispy flaky layers to flake off, but also creating a darker golden brown character that is on the verge of bitterness. Nicely buttery soft and chewy interior. Chocolate is a darker variety, probably somewhere around 70%, so it has a pleasing balanced sweetness and chocolate flavor. It's not typical baton, instead seems to be a section from a bar. Still warm and melty even through I didn't eat the croissant until ~30 minutes after purchasing. When cooled down further, some red fruity notes start appearing, so this seems to be be pretty high quality. (5/5) White Sourdough ($12.60) - Now this is a loaf of bread. Superb crust, probably 2 or 3 times as thick compared to competitors, creating a supreme crusty bite with a chew approaching a hard crunch with almost caramelized molasses notes on the bottom. The interior is moist and tender with a pleasing slight sourdough tang. It's a superb piece of craftsmanship. (5/5) Kouign Amann ($5.80) - This is another heavier bake with some acridity development on the top surface. Unlike many other bakeries where the kouign amann is basically a differently shaped croissant with sugar glaze, Sea Wolf's version feels more in line with tradition. The crumb is denser and richer, more like brioche. There's interesting black speckling inside which I believe is due to the inclusion of espresso powder given the mild coffee-like flavor. The crust is again baked hard, but it's lighter and not as flaky as the croissant. They sprinkle just a bit of salt on top of a very light caramelized sugar glaze. It's not very sweet and I didn't find it too salty unlike some other reviewers. (5/5) Plain Focaccia Slice ($4.80) - Good quality olive oil, some salt sprinkled on top to boost the flavors. Light and airy interior, but the exterior is a little wan, being more light golden brown and lacking some good crusty crisp especially on the fried bottom. Quite oily. (4/5) Sea Wolf gives out free sourdough starter, which can be requested from the cashier. Since picking it up several weeks ago, I've gone through several feed/bake cycles for making sourdough focaccia. I've visited Sea Wolf 3 or 4 times in the last month. That's a testament to how high quality their pastries and breads are. I think the only thing stopping me from visiting more is thanks to the starter I got from them fanning my baking instincts. I bake so much now that I don't have any need to buy their bread! Note: Sea Wolf charges a 3% credit card fee. This is not noted on their menu - it only appears in the POS right before paying. Kind of sketchy. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

I will note that I haven't tried the breads, but as a non-morning individual, I do appreciate that they do tend to still have many items available even later in the afternoon (~1-3PM time frame). You will have to find street parking, but I've never had too much trouble in this neighborhood even on the weekend. Butter Croissant (3.75/5): I'll admit I'm insanely picky with my croissants and I think Sea Wolf's is just okay. I want a stronger crisp on the outside, something that almost shatters and makes a mess when you bite in, but the inside has a nice chew. Kouign Amann (3.75/5): I had a really fantastic time with this my first time picking it up, they have almost a crunchy sugar caramel crust on the outside with super buttery pastry inside. Unfortunately, my second time picking this up ended up being a miss, just stale and much to dry. Cinnamon Roll (1/5): The raisins are a nice touch, but this was awfully dry. Even the caramelized crus on the outside couldn't save this and charging extra for cream cheese frosting on top of a dry dough is criminal.

Instead, it turned into a masterclass in how to make customers feel completely unwelcome. The sticker shock started immediately. Six donuts cost $25. Expensive? Absolutely. But I was willing to pay premium prices if the experience matched. It didn't. My daughter politely asked if she could order a ham and cheese croissant. The cashier's response? "Well, we have no croissants available... so... no." Not "I'm sorry, we're sold out." Not even a hint of courtesy. Just a cold, dismissive response to an 11-year-old. Then I asked whether they made specialty coffee because my daughter wanted a latte. The response: "We have an espresso machine." Thanks, but that wasn't the question. It felt like every interaction was treated as an inconvenience. After we finally finished ordering, we waited nearly 20 minutes for what should have been a straightforward order. Meanwhile, our coffees sat getting colder by the minute while nobody seemed remotely concerned. Then the food arrived... except one breakfast sandwich was missing. This was somehow the most frustrating part. Instead of a simple apology or, "We'll get that right out," the cashier immediately became defensive, pulled up the order screen as if I were the one making a mistake, and said, "I could charge you for the fourth one if you want." No apology. No ownership. No attempt to recover the situation. Just more attitude. It's remarkable how quickly rude, indifferent service can sour what should have been a pleasant breakfast. The food might be good, but it's hard to appreciate it when you're made to feel like your business is a burden. For a place happy to charge premium prices - including a jaw-dropping $58 coconut cream pie - you'd expect at least a basic level of professionalism and hospitality. Instead, the overwhelming impression was arrogance: the assumption that people will keep coming no matter how poorly they're treated. Seattle has too many outstanding bakeries staffed by people who actually appreciate their customers to waste your time or money here. This place has earned exactly one visit from me, and that's one too many.

It tasted sweet and the coffee added the robust flavour I love in my mochas My boyfriend had never tried a Moroccan Fog before and he loved how sweet it was without him having to add sugar. He especially loved that it had just the right amount of mint flavoring without being toothpaste For breakfast, I ordered their fruit danish! I love that they had different options of fruit to pick from and I chose blueberry! The pastry was perfectly flaky and I loved how fresh the blueberry tasted. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!

I'm here for coffee. I did not try any pastry as I was having lunch much later…read more Coffee was good. For a single barista who also did all food orders, she was quick. Coffee is good but not a wow. Food like the croissants seems to be not fresh. They did not have the look of freshly baked considering it was around 9am. Not sure but did not have the glow or lopk when I see a pastry. Nice place though. Lots of tables and space. They were busy.

Finally made it out to Saint Bread and I loved it! Arrived around 9am on a Friday morning and…read morewaited ~30 min in line. All the pastries except for the regular butter croissant were available, and we were able to place an order for the kimchi focaccia and sakura swiss roll, which were slated to come out around 10am. Service was super friendly! I got the hojicha latte, the okonomiyaki frittata, black sesame cookie, kimchi focaccia, and sakura swiss roll. The hojicha latte was rich and earthy in the best way, and it went really well with the black sesame cookie, which had a great strong sesame flavor, and the texture was perfectly chewy! The focaccia was pillowy and chewy at the same - I could've eaten five of these on their own. The frittata was my least favorite item, but by no means am I saying that it's bad! I thought the sauces overpowered it a bit, and the frittata itself was a bit bland - I couldn't even tell it had sweet potato in it, but it was cooked really well. There was ample seating in the heated patio, but parking was a little confusing, though we got lucky with the small lot right next to the store. There were a lot of signs that said no parking along the street in front, but it seemed like a lot of cars were parked there?

We ordered the Fried Egg Sandwich with bacon, Saint Cheeseburger, and Seasoned Fries with Miso Ranch. The Fried Egg Sandwich and Saint Cheeseburger were on the same buns, which were soft, buttery, and delicious. However, the ratio of patty-to-bun for the cheeseburger felt a bit off (way more bun than patty), and if we were to get it again, we would definitely order it with an extra patty. The fries were solid, but the Miso Ranch unfortunately did not have a prominent miso flavor, and instead was very dill-heavy. All around, we enjoyed our visit and would for sure come back to try their baked goods.
