I think it's really good, is it worth the money probably not... I make a ton of fried chicken at home so let me tell you I am a fried chicken fiend. I think they do a really good job here with the food, I just think it's a little overpriced and if they would lower the price they would attract more people. What can I say about this business? I was granted vip status for a soft opening, and from the moment I walked in the door I felt more than a vip. I felt like a SUPER vip. I love the process of this restaurant, and I love how there's a time that says when your food is ready. The free arcade game is a plus too. Although the place was packed, the food came out at a very reasonable time. The tots and fries were good and the Nashville sandwich is the best Boulder has to offer. I will be coming back. read more

Who knew one could get such a DELICIOUS vegetarian meal at a super cool chicken joint? I had long given up on the crispy chicken cutlet when my son and I became vegetarian, but we rediscovered it with the MEATI sandwich at Birdcall. It ROCKS! It tastes JUST like a 'real' chicken sandwich with the tastiest slaw, sauce and bun. MEATI is also super healthy (unlike some plant-based alternatives). Did not hear about Birdcall until very recently and I 100% recommend to anyone! The food was great, service, even better! The chicken nuggets were so yummy but their birdcall sauce blew me away, I have never tasted something like that before and it was phenomenal. Second time I've been here after the dinner rush. First time was about 30 mins before close and felt a bit rushed and blown off by the staff, but that's fine, I understand. Tonight (Friday night) walked in at 7:00 as the dinner rush was leaving. They marketed being open until 11 pm on weekends, but decided to stop making milkshakes at 7:30 and didn't tell you until you asked. My tots were a bit soggy and not warm somehow, and the beer I ordered was disappointingly flat. 7:45 rolled around and the staff began cleaning tables and taking out the trash to the point where they were loudly making a scene of cleaning up trays and leaving trash bags out while we were eating to the point where I would've thought they closed at 8. Not really sure what that was about but definitely a bummer to not feel super welcomed and rushed out by the staff that was supposedly going to be open for 3 more hours. Just never a good look to leave full trash bags in the middle of the floor with kids running around, definitely left pretty disappointed again. Maybe I'll try a lunch shift to catch some other employees and hopefully fresher food. read more

Great food. We lived in Nashville for 25 years and know chicken joints. This place is better than Zaxby's and competes well with Raising Cane's. I can't place them above the king of chicken tenders and my favorite, Hattie B's, but they are certainly a strong concept and we appreciate the environmental awareness and thoughtfulness in their model. I love the order management tech as well! Very unique! My one major suggestion would be to ditch the fries and do crinkle cut instead. The best chicken places including the legendary Hattie B's do crinkle cut. They present better and if prepared and fried correctly maintain crispiness. Bird call fries as is are soggy and do not match the outstanding chicken quality. Fix that and you are primed for greatness. I wish the Nashville hot was available on tenders. I am diabetic and cannot eat all the bread with sandwiches. Otherwise I could have given a review of how well the Nashville hot compares. Sorry about that. I really wanted to try it. If you successfully mimic Hattie B's chicken sauce toss there's no limit to your success. Best wishes. read more

Birdcall is my go to!!! I love the Grilled Caesar sandwich and I actually have a slight obsession with their birdcall sauce. Ordered takeout from their website. It was super easy to pick up our order with their cubby system. The food was awesome.
