Build Your Own Greens + Grains Bowl vegan
    Crystal M.

My first real visit to Cava and I am Happy with my experience. Opted for build my own bowl. Made a delicious vegan bowlthat was very satisfying. Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant is very casual.

Literally no food in this bowl.

We ordered ahead of time. I go into the place at the time it's supposed to be ready and I have to wait a couple minutes before they even start my order. They were waiting for the online orders to show up before they started making them. Completely DEFEATING the purpose of online ordering. Next I go home and no avocado on my bowl which is extra. I call to ask about how to get it refunded and no apology. Lastly there is barely anything in my bowl. It's a light snack at this point. When u usually order cava, the bowl is pretty full. Well I will provide pics of this bullshit of 14$ meal

I went for lunch today!! The food was delicious as always. Not to mention the friendly staff and such a clean restaurant!! Great healthy options.

I was in Boulder and wanted something to munch on and thought an order of falafel for the road would be good. I called cava and asked how much an order of falafel was going to be and they said $3.99 for four. Well, that doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. I was only a few minutes away, so I stopped by. I probably should've known because the falafel's were all piled up in a bar like service area. I ordered the side of falafel with some tzatziki, and when I went to pay, it was $7.89. I said when I called I was told an order of four was $3.99. The lady said did you order tzatziki and I said yes. I said how much is the tzatziki which was about a tablespoon and a little cup, and she said $3.99. Never mind, you can buy a whole tub of Taziki for $4.00. Because I was hungry, I bought the falafel's anyway, and by far, the most disgusting "Greek"thing I've ever eaten. The so-called falafel was not crunchy in the least bit, absolutely flavorless, and tasted like refried beans, mixed with miniature, garbanzo beans, and no herbs whatsoever. Gross! Save your money and go to an authentic Greek place. This is fast food garbage, and yet another example of corporate America taking advantage of those on the go.

Fast service, and the food was delicious. Came on a Saturday afternoon and the line was pretty long and the line went nice and fast. Clean bathrooms too!

Cava Catastrophe! My Cava experience went from bad to unbelievably frustrating. First, the staff seemed totally lost. Then, disaster struck! The girl serving me actually dropped my bowl while piling on ingredients. While she was filling my bowl she was in such a rush and haphazardly remade the bowl, leaving my bowl barely half full. So basically, I got punished for their mistake with a skimpy portion. For the price Cava charges, you'd expect at least a full bowl and staff who know what they're doing. Save yourself the aggravation and skip this Cava. There are plenty of other Mediterranean places that won't treat you like an afterthought. :///

    Very tasty!

I had a great meal here! I usually love to try new places around Boulder and tutus was great! Prices are moderate and they offer mostly pitas, bowls, and salads. I loved the Falafel pita a lot! The bread was very soft and warm and tasty. They offer many toppings like pickles and vegetables. Lots of sauces too. I really love the taste and fresh ingredients. Definitely coming back soon!

We tried a lot of things on the menu and liked each dish. But our absolute favorites were the kimchi sweet potato fries (this was a crowd favorite dish and we're still dreaming about it), ginger chili potstickers (so good!), and the hot fudge cake with ice cream for dessert (melt in your mouth warm chocolate cake with ice cream, it was 10 out of 10). We also enjoyed the butternut penne, everything crunch salad, and butternut squash arancini which were all delicious. Also, the bread deserves its own shout out - very soft and warm, and still rich in flavor. Easily the best bread I've had in a long time. Service was great with a friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance was warm, inviting, cozy and sophisticated. Would definitely recommend stopping here to anyone!!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

You will have to go through an app to pay for parking. This place only accepts cash. They do have an ATM on-site, if needed. As for the food and beer selection. Both were great. I was torn between the bison burger and the junk burger but decoded to go with the Junk Burger. It was literally cooked to perfection (well done chef!). As for the beer, they had 18 to choose from including two gluten free options. I could decide so I went with a beer flight which allowed me to sample several in my typical range of beers. Definitely would come back and recommend to anyone making stop in Boulder.

Our server didn't seem too happy that we showed up today, the food took about 30 minutes to get to us and the fried pickles and the Cuban weren't very yummy, we didn't finish either. Disappointing. However the French fries WERE very yummy! And the wrap was unique and pretty good. It's a large space and it was easy to find a seat. The artwork is beautiful. Luckily we found street parking so that was easy too. It's a cash only restaurant (or local personal checks) and while it wasn't a problem, we had cash, we probably wouldn't have come here had we known that beforehand. Credit card sales shouldn't be the consumers issue.

We had heard of this cafe as they had been food hosts at a party at a Kühl on Pearl and were hoping to actually eat in their cafe when they coincidentally moved next door to one of our favorite local eateries. We were in the neighborhood around lunchtime so we stopped in when we arrived it was busy, by the time we left, it was packed. It's a unique menu fit for most palates and healthy as can be. It attracts athletes if all ages, healthy eaters of all types. You won't find much meat but there is some. It also as an Asian flair with offerings of congee and fried chicken sides, fish, rice and veggies of all sorts including kimchi . Japanese egg salad sandwiches too. That's one I need to try next time. Today we both chose the mushroom congee with 7 minute egg and a hot drink. A spicy chai with oat milk for my husband and berry hibiscus tea for me. We both enjoyed our meals but just a bit too much garlic for me but just right for my husband and must others too. I loved the volumes of mushrooms and the sprinkles of spices on the whole egg. The egg was done perfectly. My husband brought home a side order of popcorn chicken as I will be at a meeting so he will be eating dinner alone. The service was great, everyone friendly and helpful the cafe bright and clean and the ordering counter moves fast. They deliver to and clear the tables. More quick casual places should do this to avoid the piles of debris at bins in the seating area I often see. There is a flat panel screen on the wall featuring cyclists in the wild given that energy snacks were the first products of this company and much for sale here too. The mix of diners covered the spectrum of adults you would expect in Boulder. This cafe is only breakfast and lunch so come when convenient earlier in the day. Parking is free and always available in this center. Lots of construction around the intersection so plan your trip to get into the lot via Alpine and not Broadway.
