Vegetables that gorilla teeth might have enjoyed but without a really sharp knife very difficult to eat, but photogenic presentation

Maggie the super smiling server was amazingly helpful getting us reseated after the thunderstorm caused the roof to leak on our heads! An experience to remember! Best food deal was the bountiful chicken skewers. Other options meh. Decor is beautifully done and for a midweek early dinner the place was packed.

We have been here twice: once in August and once this month, both times for lunch. The first time we had a reservation and it was a good thing because the restaurant filled quickly and there was a wait. This second time we did not have a reservation and ate at the bar. (It was the weekend and there were many people waiting at the Apple store.) The bar was not busy but did eventually have more people; while the last time, we saw many people turned away both by too many people on the waitlist and too many people at the bar. The first time the food was good: the appetizer was unique, the peri peri chicken dish was flavorful, and the bowl I ordered was good but pretty standard. The service was very good and the restaurant itself is open, airy and nicely decorated. The dishes were photogenic. The second time sitting at the bar was fun. The women were great and the best part was watching the making of some drinks because they were beautiful. Our food was mixed. The hash came with a generous portion of beef but it was tough and over-cooked; the rest of the dish was very good. The other dish was a hamburger that was ordered to be medium rare but came well. The french fries were fine; what added was when we asked for ketchup. The dipping sauces were fun - they had the peri peri sauce, housemade ketchup and salsa. Again, the peri peri sauce is a stand out. The experience was good but the food was ok overall.

They have some kinks to work out still. Expect to wait to be seated if you don't have reservations even on a Tuesday night. Also expect to wait on server to take your order. They may be short staffed. It's a large space. The kitchen, however was surprisingly quick and well paced. We were told everything is made from scratch. The sourdough puff was the best part of the meal. Hot, puffy, and chewylicious. The eggplant dip for the bread was an interesting combination of sweet and tart. The Chinese chicken salad was somewhat disappointing. A bit dry and too many chunks of fibrous snap peas. The burger was pretty good and not greasy though, honestly I would prefer a grease bomb from Shake Shack. It was pretty mid overall. Not sure if I'd come back.

Food was out of this world! Yes it's healthy, but honestly one of the best brunches we had without feeling bloated afterwards. Service was very attentive. A lot of people in the building but that's typical for a new restaurant. And that bar!!!!!! Wow! I would just come back and sit there and drink cocktails! Beautiful!!

We had an amazing meal, and the service was excellent. Our group of four sat out on the patio, and the weather was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

However, there were people sitting on their outside patio. Hardy folks, I guess! My friend was nursing a sore tummy, so she just had some grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. She loves everything she's had here. It was my first time. I ordered the chicken bowl with yakisoba noodles. It was lukewarm, but that's fine for me. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!

Boychik sells Mediterranean style food and when I saw what was on their menu, I knew exactly I wanted to eat here. I lovr Mediterranean style dips, I could eat this everyday. I chose the 3 dip option and got muhummara, babaganoush and whipped feta and asked for two servings of veggie and one serving of pita. Portion size was massive so I am glad I shared with my friends. My favorite was the muhummara, that was so good and my buddy was also like wow this is sooo good!! Babaganoush was ok for me and whipped feta didnt work for me. Veggies were great and the pita was the soft, pillowy ones, which I love! Staff were helpful and order came up quick. Guy ringing me up also told me that upstairs they have plates and cutlery so no need to have my dips wrapped to-go. Overall, great food here, take it upstairs and enjoy the views! I'd definitely come back again!

While the portion is pretty decent, the price is slightly higher than other fast casual Mediterranean spots. The meats in the wrap were juicy and tender, the overall flavor was solid. I'm actually pretty impressed by the falafel. The falafel tasted very fresh, crunchy on the outside, moist, airy and crumby on the inside. I'd definitely come back for some falafel when I'm in town again!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

My husband had the happy hour special of the evening, a very large serving of large mussels with grilled sourdough and a lucious broth. We also had some small plate tapas and I mostly grazed those. I love Bocarones and they do it so well though for me last night, the peppers were a bit too spicy. But I got the majority of the little fishies, my husband the peppers.. We also had the tortilla papas and the charred Hazel Dell mushrooms which were excellent. The little salad topping on the tortilla was full of specialty greens like fennel fronds and pea shoots. The mushrooms has a warm egg yolk on top to stir into the dressing which was tasty. We finished with their flan which was as good as my Spanish born neighbor made in my youth. I had a very nice tea with it. I was originally going to knock off a star for pricing but honestly, I don't think they have much option these days. But sadly we will go less frequently in the future.
