This is a cool spot for a quick, solid bite in the morning. Ordered a spicy Mish-Mash (everything) bagel, toasted, with sausage, egg, and cheese. While I prefer a fried egg over a scrambled egg, and American cheese over cheddar, my sandwich was still pretty tasty. I did appreciate the spicy everything bagel - I've never seen that before and did enjoy that. The coffee was also dark, with a nice body and smooth finish, perfect for a chilly Flagstaff morning. I've been coming here for years. Good bagels, really good flavored and plain cream cheese. My favorite is the asiago bagel with garlic & herb cream cheese. The only downside is service can be really slow when they're busy. They also have bagel sandwiches, but I've never tried it. Other than that, stop on in for a yummy toasted bagel. read more

Flavor was amazing, would recommend not dumping as much salt as you guys seem to do on every bagel. we could only eat half, which is disappointing for $10 (2 bagels) and a 30 minute wait in a non air conditioned building. It was after 12 on a Saturday so a lot of the varieties of bagels were gone but I decided to get a half dozen to try for the week. I got 2 Asiago, an onion, blueberry, sesame, and garlic. The bagels were extra light to the point it looked under cooked. I left it in the toaster oven about 10 minutes until it browned and got to the crisp consistency that I like. This is a hidden gem in Flagg. The bagels were fresh and the spread had great flavor. The hot dog bagel dog was really good too and great portioned. The line was long (it was about a 25 min wait in line) but the staff were friendly and tried their best to keep it moving. Once we ordered we only waited a few mins for our order so that was nice. When my spouse and I were walking out with our paper bag of bagel sandwiches at 8:30am on a Saturday, there was already a line to the door. We stopped here for a grab-and-go breakfast before a long road trip. We both got bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, meat, cheese, and our choice of flavored bagel. The sandwiches were hot, with melted cheese and fresh, toasted bagels with just the right amount of crispiness. We also shared a maple bacon bagel topped with -- to the staff's recommendation -- a thick, sweet maple spread. With a breakfast this delicious, we would have been satisfied with your typical, stale, diner-type coffee. That wouldn't be up to Biff's standards, however; they serve local drip coffee here. Out of all the places I tried in Flagstaff, this was my favorite. I got a lemonade and a bagel sandwich. The food was great as well as the service. You can tell through the taste that their bagels are fresh. If I were in flagstaff longer, I would've gone here everyday. As a huge dog lover, I was happily surprised to see that Biff's was themed around dogs. There were boxes to donate in order to help homeless dogs which is great and adds onto why more people should visit Biff's. Totally recommend! read more

Stopped here before my trip back home to LA. Small corner spot with street parking and nearby pay parking lot. I ordered the Southern turkey melt with garlic & herb cream cheese on Asiago bagel. My son ordered the breakfast sandwich with egg, turkey bacon and cheddar cheese. You place your order, pay and they ask you to wait outside till they bring it out. Waited about a good 20-25 min from the time I ordered to when I got my food. When I opened the wrapper to take a bite, it was so soft and yummy. Although the taste was delicious, I noticed something was missing..... the turkey meat!! I thought I just ate it all with the couple of bites I took, but when I looked at the other half , it was missing all around!!! Now don't get me wrong, even without the meat the sandwich was good, but I needed my protein and I didn't pay $10 for a veggie sandwich. Needless to say, I called them and explained to them the about the missing turkey meat. They were so nice about it and apologized for the mistake and offered to remake it. Now because I was really hungry and needed my nutrients before I hit the road, I went back and they did remake it without any questions asked. I even offered to bring the other half of sandwich so they can see that I wasn't lying but they said no and took my word for it. They even gave me a couple free bagels for the inconvenience. Thanks Biffs! You redeemed yourselves and will be definitely be returning when I'm back in town!! Southern Turkey Melt: bagel crispy but soft inside. The cream cheese wasn't overpowering and the amount of spread was perfect! The veggies made it delicious and the jalapeños added that extra perfect kick. The Turkey was seasoned deliciously! Visited Flagstaff for the first time and we chose this place for a quick breakfast before driving back home. It was a good backup. I'm sorta a bagel snob and they had a really good variety of bagels to choose from. Customer service was super friendly and willing to answer any questions, regardless of how long the line was. Price is alright considering it's the main bagel place in the area and it gives a good amount of filling/food. Although I will knock a star-ish only because I noticed my friend's bagel was a bit underbaked and looked too chewy, but they didn't complain. They still liked it. Stopped in here after the Thursday morning pro/college run. This place was happening especially with all the hungry runners who just ran between 9-12 miles. I popped in here with one of my teammates and ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It was pretty good, not the best I've ever had, but I am definitely biased since I've had Jersey bagels. The waitstaff was quick, and they had a big water cooler in there for all us thirsty runners! I have been coming here for such a long time and it has always been my FAVORITE bagel place but boy has it changed. You can't eat inside anymore and have to wait outside after you order. My peanut butter bagel barely had peanut butter, it was haphazardly made and was sooo dry (I think it was old,) I had a hard time eating it. The chai tea has always been my go-to but now it tastes watered down. The carmel latte was very strong in coffee, very little carmel and not very sweet. We specifically asked if the hot chocolate was made with milk and we were told almond milk but it tasted like water with cheap old chocolate powder. It breaks my heart to write this because I have been such a loyal customer for so long and have always loved everything about this place. The bagels themselves are still delicious so I will eventually be back but I think I need some time to forget this experience. read more

We ordered 2 mish mash (everything), 1 chocolate almond joy (husband loved it), and one jalapeño melt. We bought cream cheese on the side and a lemonade. Left paying about $19 and put cream cheese on our own bagels-- was cheaper that way. The bagels themselves were pretty good, but I expected fresh jalapeno on my bagel and it was pickled/jar jalapeños. I wouldn't get that again, but the bagels were pretty good. Don't expect masks. Not a single person in there was wearing one. Hoping people are being honest about vaccination, but if you're still not comfortable (read: me), bring your own mask. No indoor or outdoor seating, but there are a couple tables in front of the thrift store if you can grab one. read more

They do NOT skimp on the cream cheese... honestly like half as much would have been good for me but if you like the gobs of cream cheese you'll love this. I find it odd that still there is literally zero seating inside. Some may appreciate this but it makes it seem kind of blah and a bit unwelcoming with nothing but open space and a counter in the entire place. The Bagels are good. The girls working the counter are not friendly and very much give off the vibe that by ordering anything, you're inconveniencing their hangover recovery attempts. Everyone just waits in a single file line from the door to the counter in this uncomfortably silent sort of acceptable torture until you get to the front to order. After you order, you're expected to move to the right and playa game of "who's going to ring up this order", where you get to recite your order to a new person and if the person who originally took your order feels so inclined, they'll yell your order over you to the cashier in an irritated voice.
