I really enjoyed this place. The best thing is they actually keep all their creamer in a refrigerator. See photo. So you never have to worry about fresh half and half or milk for your coffee or tea. Also had their Denver omelette with potatoes. Maybe the potatoes were a little over done with the curly fry style seasoning, but that's minor. Plenty of seating and service was friendly. This is a cute coffee shop that offers a variety of coffees, drinks, breakfast, lunch, vegetarian tortious and more. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I had the pomegranate green tea and the Grand Canyon (vegetarian sandwich) which was served in wheat bread. It definitely was not worth the price...really small, almost like they used mini slices of bread. The green tea was okay. My friends all had a breakfast plate, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs. They all said it was okay. The breakfast potatoes were good. I had a croissant, egg and cheese sandwich. They added veggies at my request. It was delicious! I had called it in, told it would be about 10 minutes. I walked over, waited in a long line to pay and waited another 10-15 minutes for my food. They were busy but everyone in line that ordered after me got their food before me, which totally negates me calling in an order. I tried to be patient and didn't say anything but I needed to get back to work so was disappointed with the service, which I tipped before I realized I would be waiting so long. This is a nice little stop on the way out of town every time I need coffee and I don't wanna drive back to downtown. It's on the outskirts of Flagstaff heading back towards Phoenix, and offers a variety of food and drink options. Both of the times that I visited during my trip to Flagstaff recently, all I got was a cappuccino to go.Service was OK as well as a drink, but the space is always great to hang out in as it offers Wi-Fi, plenty of charging, specific spaces, and lots of room. read more

The state of drip coffee in the USA right now is pathetic. When the word "coffee" is in your name, you should have really really good drip coffee. The attempt of American coffee shops to make us order 9 dollar pour over bullshit or iced sugary blended flavored "coffee" drinks makes me enraged, especially in the morning on a road trip. This coffee is terrible - but it isn't alone. Every single overpriced 5 dollar cup of brown acidic garbage water I've had from Tennessee to Flagstaff has been absolute punishment. I actually believe people who own restaurants are trying to punish people who just like regular coffee. STOP IT. stop putting two drops of cream in my coffee for me. Put the cream out for us. This past summer my husband and I have had four brunches at Campus Coffee Bean, even though we are staying on the other side of town. The food, coffee, ambiance and service are great so we keep coming back. This time my husband had the breakfast special: scrambled eggs and cheese on a croissant, and house coffee. I had the Flagstaff omelette with toast and potatoes, and a latte. The restaurant cooks their eggs from scratch rather than microwaving egg patties like so many other coffee shops. Other times we have had their gyro meat, their hummus, other egg dishes. All our meals and coffee have been very good. They have an extensive tea collection. Happened upon this coffee shop traveling thru Flagstaff and wish we had more time to spend here! New owner Dan and his wife are taking an original spot and putting their own vibe in. They offer more sugar free syrups than we've ever seen, food and pastry selections, spots to sit in and out, as well as a large choice of coffee and teas. Food was great! I thought tomatoes in a tuna melt was odd, but it was very tasty. The chicken and rice soup was amazing! The creamy flavor was rich and the rice was a bit springy adding great texture. Perfect for a cold day! The staff are very kind and friendly. You can't help but feel welcome. I know businesses exist to make money for the people who run them, but they're selling baseline cafe food for astronomical prices and the young adults working here can't afford rent. Bad feelings all around. I came in from California and I feel like I'm still there: every restaurant and bar in Flagstaff is staffed by despondent, checked-out kids. I asked 8 of them (waitresses, bartenders, clerks, etc) how much rent is and none of them knew. All of them in their early to mid 20's. Bartender told me the the 5% gratuity is because minimum wage here is too expensive for business owners. These are people who went to college! Kids were telling me that in California too. Don't let the owners responses on Yelp influence your decisions. I sent a message to them via their website and requested a refund because we didn't feel safe eating the food after the attitude of the employees and felt concerned they may have tampered with the food. Additionally the bagel was soggy and cold after sitting for over 20 minutes as we waited for the rest of the order, a burrito and coffee with cream. However, the owner has not refunded me or even contacted me personally. I shouldn't have to pay for food that went in the garbage. Where is my requested refund? read more

This place is fantastic! I was looking around for some good places for coffee (rather than those campus Starbucks) and I am thoroughly impressed. This is a lovely small business, and while it isn't perfect, it is one of those gems which are always nice to have in any town. The coffee on tap is fruity and bright, with a slight tartness similar to a currant or a blackberry. The wait was minimal and the coffee was extremely inexpensive given the quality; just $3 for a 20oz! The employees seemed eager and passionate. It was overall a very homey environment. The vibes are slightly off as this is more so a restaurant than just a coffee shop, but it's a great place if you're looking to get some work done or meet with friends. I stayed in Flagstaff for a weekend with my cousins. They grew up here and before we left back for the Valley, we decided to fuel ourselves. It was pretty busy at 9:45 or so in the morning, but fortunately we squeezed ourselves into a booth. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel on an Asiago bagel which is from Biff's Bagels (delivered daily). It was perfectly filling combined with the original flavor of Chai tea. They have three flavors. The Chai was sweet and had an apple-like flavor which I enjoyed. There were many tables to choose from and the staff was very helpful and kind. Each bite of the junior burrito was a balanced and cohesive blend of flavors. The flattened, crispy brown sides had a firmness that made eating burrito a neat and graceful experience.
