Breakfast potatoes

This is a cute coffee shop that offers a variety of coffees, drinks, breakfast, lunch, vegetarian tortious and more. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I had the pomegranate green tea and the Grand Canyon (vegetarian sandwich) which was served in wheat bread. It definitely was not worth the price...really small, almost like they used mini slices of bread. The green tea was okay. My friends all had a breakfast plate, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs. They all said it was okay. The breakfast potatoes were good. This is a cute coffee shop for students to hang out. Or for others to grab a bite.

This is a nice little stop on the way out of town every time I need coffee and I don't wanna drive back to downtown. It's on the outskirts of Flagstaff heading back towards Phoenix, and offers a variety of food and drink options. Both of the times that I visited during my trip to Flagstaff recently, all I got was a cappuccino to go.Service was OK as well as a drink, but the space is always great to hang out in as it offers Wi-Fi, plenty of charging, specific spaces, and lots of room.

This past summer my husband and I have had four brunches at Campus Coffee Bean, even though we are staying on the other side of town. The food, coffee, ambiance and service are great so we keep coming back. This time my husband had the breakfast special: scrambled eggs and cheese on a croissant, and house coffee. I had the Flagstaff omelette with toast and potatoes, and a latte. The restaurant cooks their eggs from scratch rather than microwaving egg patties like so many other coffee shops. Other times we have had their gyro meat, their hummus, other egg dishes. All our meals and coffee have been very good. They have an extensive tea collection. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall with decent parking. The restaurant is across University St. from Target.

Solid selection and very quick. Selections of treats as well as a deli and breakfast!

I've been coming here since college back when it was just a coffee shop. Naturally I came here because it was the closest coffee shop from campus. I've watched it grow over the years and still enjoy it. They make a pretty good made to order hot breakfast, locally made bagels/pastries (some being Sam's Club) and have an array of different mocha flavors. Nice place to sit and visit with friends.

Interior is pleasantly decorated and well maintained.

This place is fantastic! I was looking around for some good places for coffee (rather than those campus Starbucks) and I am thoroughly impressed. This is a lovely small business, and while it isn't perfect, it is one of those gems which are always nice to have in any town. The coffee on tap is fruity and bright, with a slight tartness similar to a currant or a blackberry. The wait was minimal and the coffee was extremely inexpensive given the quality; just $3 for a 20oz! The employees seemed eager and passionate. It was overall a very homey environment. If you have a moment, please come by--I do not think you will regret it.

We popped in on a Monday morning hoping to score some great grub and we certainly found some! Cubano ($20.95) - Starting with the bread - it's really fluffy, not toasted or pressed as with usual cubanos. Unfortunately, it's probably a little too light for the sandwich because some parts get mushy from being soaked in all the dijonnaise. The dijonnaise is very sweet, creamy with a mustardy zing. I think they add a bit too much, making the sandwich more fatty and messy to eat than I like (not to mention what I stated before about it soaking into the bread). The meat is fantastic. Both porchetta and ham are griddled on the flat top, giving them a developed and concentrated edge. The ham is to the point of being like country ham, while the porchetta still has great seasoned porky flavor. I believe they griddle the swiss cheese alongside the meat. It melts and crisps up into a cheese skirt, adding a fantastic texture to the sandwich. There's a lot of crinkle cut pickles underneath the meat, but it's not enough acid to cut through all that fat. Sandwiches come with a side of house chips. They are fried until a darker golden brown color, but aren't burnt. This gives a great kettle chip-like crunch. Even with different sized chips, they are very evenly fried with all chips being the same texture. They are salted the perfect amount. (4/5) Aleppo Pepper Pastrami sub Tomato Soup ($22.75) - This place is famous for their pastrami, and I can tell the quality. It's cooked on the griddle until it develops crisp edges. It's fatty, but the fat is rendered so there are no chewy and leathery parts. The meat is extremely tender and thinly sliced. It's honestly almost like bacon in texture, but the taste is completely different, with the exterior spices and pepper making a huge impact along with the rich concentrated meatiness inside. The bread is a nice toasted sourdough, not strongly sour in flavor, but definitely noticeable. The bottom slice is slathered with plenty of nopales studded cream cheese. It's added in a large amount and is an extremely creamy and fatty substance yet somehow doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It's warm but not melty. The nopales are clearly there but I didn't find it to contribute much. The pastrami is layered on top of that followed by a ton of sweet brown caramelized onions that are very tender. An entire green chile, roasted and super smoky, is above that. Finally, aleppo mustard is spread on the top slice of bread. Between the green chile and the aleppo, there's a slight warmth that tinges the sandwich. It's nothing too spicy. Instead of chips, we opted to sub the Tomato Soup (no fee). It's very homestyle, full of tomato richness in a thick blend. It has a strong tangy tomato essence. There's basil oil drizzled on top for a boost of freshness. The soup is unfortunately quite a bit too acidic for my tastes, but that's only by itself! While very acidic, the soup is actually great as a balance to the sandwich (along with the pickle of course) since there's so much richness and fat coming in between the bread. (5/5) Proper Meats + Provisions definitely serves some great sandwiches. We were considering visiting again for our 2 full days in Flagstaff, but weren't able to make it because they close so early at 6! I ordered the Cobb salad and it was legitimately one of the best salads I've had on the road -- fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and just overall excellent. The food here is outstanding. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule so I didn't get a chance to try any of their beers, which was a bummer. Next time I'm definitely making time for a pint or two. The atmosphere is great -- lively and welcoming with a nice brewery vibe. Just a heads-up: there's a railway very close by, so it can get pretty loud if you're sitting outside. It didn't bother me at all, but if you're there for good food and conversation, I'd recommend grabbing a table inside. Once you're indoors the noise shouldn't be an issue. Overall, fantastic spot with amazing food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through Flagstaff!
