Great coffee, reasonably priced, and all in a drive-thru format. A few locations across Flagstaff

Friendly staff, a gloriously tasty drink and I got a quarter off 'cause I knew the answer to the day's trivia question. So lets identify all the Nature geeks. What African animal kills more people than any other? Dum da da da dum dum dum. That's right. Hippos. So what does watching countless hours of nature documentaries get you? A better understanding of nature, some cool trivia ........and a quarter off a drink. Go nature! 2013 #5 / 365

A double-sided coffee drive-thru, how convenient! The coffee market in Flagstaff is totally oversaturated, leading to great quality and low prices pretty much everywhere you go. The service at Wicked AZ left a little to be desired, but a classic iced Americano was sufficiently strong to fuel my drive home, and at a cheap $3.

Really good coffee, but they started charging for my dogs Pup-cup so I go to Dutch bros now.

Coffee is actually great, pricey for what you get though. Lids have a small crack in them 50% of the time which can be very inconvenient.

Horrible coffee. Horribly slow service and I also observed the ownership treating their employees poorly. I'll never buy from them again.

I stopped at Lund before the drive back from our weekend trip. The great reviews pulled me in and…read morethey didn't disappoint. The parking out front is limited but we lucked out and found a close spot. The inside is pretty small but I'd imagine is still a great working space. The cashier was super friendly and even offered a military discount on my order which was amazing. I opted for their Samoa latte and a cinnamon roll to go. Both were great! The cinnamon was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the latte was very well balanced. A solid 10/10 pitstop imo.

Or you can get an Americano- which is not a drip coffee despite the barista's suggestion. Also- it only comes as a 16 oz. If you say 'hey- that's too much coffee, can you give me a smaller one?' They'll say no, that's their 'recipe' (the most pretentious explanation for literally POURING water over coffee beans) and suggest that YOU just dump some out. No but see, I want oat milk and cinnamon in my $7 drip coffee so if I need some poured out and the perfect ratio with the milk then I'd probably not be the one to do it unless I can come behind the counter & also adjust my milk? $16.15 for a small oatmilk latte and a pour over. They'll also tell you that it'll take longer for your pour over, you'll say "hey maybe just nevermind the whole thing." To which they'll struggle to not glare at you. So you say oh no worries of course I'll wait more than the standard ten minutes. And finally- they don't even make their own syrups. To charge $7.50 for a latte and not make your own syrup is criminal. There's way too many actually good (and fast) coffee shops in flag for this. I'll be at Foxtail thanks!

Madrez Cafe - Chorizo Chilaquiles!! Perfectly seasoned just enough heat. And an exceptionally brewed Americano as well. Wonderful breakfast experience

As a Mexican, it's super hard to find good, authentic Mexican food in Flagstaff. Lots of "locals"…read more() will lead you astray with their recommendations however, Madrez is the spot to be!!! I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Their waffles are incredible as are their burritos, skillets, tostadas, and gorditas. Breakfast always comes with a side of whole beans (flavored with ham hock) which are super fresh. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. I HIGHLY recommend Madrez if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican brunch spot. Support local!

My partner and I ordered a chorizo burrito, a skillet poblano, and a plain waffle. While everything was just okay, it honestly felt like something we could have made better at home. I especially wouldn't recommend the waffles -- they were very airy, almost like toast, and at $14 they just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.
