I got a s'mores iced latte and it was delicious! We were so grateful to be inside a more dim and cool space after attending the 4th of July parade. Two separate bathrooms worked great. Super grateful for iced cold water that we could use to refill our water bottles. read more

Great coffee and amazing staff. The building has a lot of cool history that our bartender, Nick was able to tell us. Highly highly recommend. They also hit concerts often and our bartender was able to get us on the guest list after we shared a couple cocktails at his bar. read more

This was such a cute coffee cafe in downtown Flagstaff! My friends and I walked to this prime location during a farmer's market near the Flagstaff library. When we first walked in, we immediately noticed how warm it was and how popular of a coffee shop it was! There is also a bar and a larger area in the back with a stage, so lots of seating is available for studying, catching up with a friend, or watching a live show. I got the Campfire, which was very heavy with chocolate flavor. I honestly could not taste any graham or marshmallow flavor, but it definitely was a stronger and sweeter coffee than the Dark Sky, which is what my friend got. The Dark Sky had very subtle mint flavor, and as acid mint lovers, we wish there would have been more! Overall, a really great cafe that I would frequent again, especially when shopping or walking around downtown. read more

We always stop by Firecreek Coffee whenever we're in town. The shop has a cool, local vibe. There is a ton of seating available here. The menu is pretty limited- just a few food options. We tried the chocolate chip scone and the cheddar and chive one. The chocolate chip was delicious, but the cheddar and chive was unfortunately very dry and not great. The barista seems to normally be the only person working the shop and doing it all from taking orders and making drinks. He has a great attitude about it, but this definitely isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. read more

Their horchata latte, made with almond, cinnamon, vanilla, espresso, and milk, was quite enjoyable and had a very strong cinnamon flavor. The cinnamon paired exceptionally well with both the espresso and the milk, creating a well-balanced drink. The snickerdoodle cookie was also excellent. It was large, with a crunchy exterior while the inside remained soft and chewy, which is my ideal type of cookie. Additionally, the staff who helped us today were very friendly and helpful. The interior of the café was also impressive, offering a relaxing atmosphere with a large amount of seating and tables. If I happen to be in the area again in the future, I would definitely visit this place again. read more

My mom and I needed a place to sit and chill for a while after shopping at the train depot visitor center. We saw this place across the street and while it doesn't look like much from the outside, inside it's quite large. There's a ton of room to sit and converse. The menu is extensive and they have a lot of coffee and food options. Towards the back is more seating and what looks to be a bar and stage, perhaps for the night crowd. The coffees we had were delicious, the lady behind the counter was very friendly. Prices are okay but right along with most tourist prices. If you're wanting something other than Starbucks to support local business then definitely check this place out! read more

Went to grab some coffee this morning at this place. I normally avoid downtown do to parking challenges. Glad I went the barista was nice and efficient. She knocked out our seven drink order quickly. Had the s'mores latte which was super tasty she even fired up the marshmallow. The space is comfortable enough which also includes a performance stage in the back. I've coffee shop. This was a phenomenal coffee shop- I loved the dark interior as it was a change from the norm you see. Tons of seating available as well and the campfire latte was delicious, especially the roasted marshmallow on top which was a wonderful presentation. read more

Went there twice on our trip to Flagstaff. Ordered a chai latte with cardamom syrup both times- it was the best we had here in Arizona! 10/10. The first day we went, we were served by such a kind barista who went above and beyond for us. My only complaint was the second day it took the 2 workers almost 5 minutes to even acknowledge us and take our order (one had AirPods in) it was super awkward and unwelcoming. Overall would come again because the chai is worth it! read more

We were on a road trip and wanted to make a pit stop for coffee and a friend recommended this place to us. It was 10am on a Wednesday so it was pretty quiet. It's a cool spot to hangout and there's plenty of seating. The shop is nicely decorated and the service was friendly. We enjoyed both our drinks. I got an iced Americano and my wife ordered the dream syndicate latte. I thought it was lovely having coffee here. It had a beautiful door which I noticed many coffee shops around Flag do. This always looked like a dusty old store front but it's super gorgeous inside so you must stop in. They brew their own coffee and have a roastery down the street, I was told. I went with just drip coffee today. I'm shortly doing a zoom call and just needed a treat. They had delicious pastries and I decided to come get the giant orange one if my zoom call went well. The chocolate chi scones looked big and amazing but I need butter w that and I don't now if they have it. Sade was paying on the sound system so that added a vintage feel to the whole vibe here. First time visiting Fire Creek Coffee, and it's already one of my favorite spots whenever I come to Flagstaff. I'm not from here, but this place truly made me feel welcome. It has such a peaceful, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere--perfect for spending time with family or friends, or even coming alone to read a book, unwind, or get some work done. I love this spot. The large interior has the perfect feel for a coffee shop. Dark colors and a lovely black tiled ceiling. They have some seats outside and many tables inside. I love their specialty coffee menu. It was hard to choose just one drink. The campfire even includes a marshmallow that I watched the barista toast with a torch. I decided on the horchata and it was very tasty. A nice amount of cinnamon and vanilla. I did find the coffee a little mild- I would have liked just a little more pep in my coffee. They do sell their coffee so if this is the one for you, you can make it at home. They offer coffee with alcohol and also wines so this place really does have it all. read more

I/We stopped by Firecreek Coffee on the way to Grand Canyon. Plus: they have WiFi, and lot of seating options. I got their matcha latte with almond milk. It was so-so, nothing outstanding or stellar. All in all, good coffee shop.. wouldn't be surprised if someone told me it the go-to/best one in Flagstaff, AZ. read more

Goal was to try all the cool coffee shops at Flagstaff (we have 7 in our list) during our stay here. This is our second one after trying Macy's. Love the ambience and decor of the place especially the ceiling design. It has a good amount of seating. We ordered the vanilla latte with oat milk and it was excellent. Also tried the cold horchata latte recommended by the barista. Asked for half sweet. Loved the drink. The half sweet order was just perfect for the sweetness and love the taste of coffee blended with the horchata taste. Will be coming back to this one again. read more

Iced Oatmilk Campfire = 11/10 -- reminds me of the coffeeshop I used to go to in Jackson. Absolute nostalgic. Pair it with cheddar chive--the perfect mix of sweet and salty. You won't regret it. I won't comment on the coffee shop experience. My purchase was a bag of coffee (20 bucks, maybe a half pound) that was packaged as Boxcar Espresso. It was very light brown (not dark and oily as you would expect) and, in a French press had no flavor at all. read more

Don't let the grunge aesthetic scare you off. This place serves fantastic coffee! I ordered a cortado, and it was properly made, which is hard to find. I also tried their campfire latte, which was delicious. Although it's normally a "sweet" drink, the coffee still shined through and held its own. Food options are also great! One of my favorite details was the chess boards they offer, perfect for a game while enjoying coffee with a friend. The coffee was so good, I'll definitely be coming back for more! read more

It was a nice afternoon and stopped in to try their horchata latte and Golden Ratio. The baristas weren't very friendly and seemed kind of standoffish but was fine after we tried our drinks. Also tried their chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. Unfortunately the chocolate chip cookie was hard as a rock but the drinks were tasty. Pretty much the best OMG Americano I've ever had. And the fragrance is amazing of their coffees. All the full, rich flavor, and none of the bitterness, of some national chains. And the staff is very nice. Highly recommended! And it's a groovy place! read more

It's giving cozy coffee shop vibes. Think warm lighting, delicious smells, comfy couches, clicking keyboards. My brother's girlfriend and I stumbled on Firecreek Coffee after exploring the local stores. This little coffee shop is in Downtown Flagstaff and is easily accessible to all the local happenings. I ordered an iced chai latte with oat milk and took home a bag of Lucha Libre coffee beans for my cold press. The chai was creamy and so so yummy. We were also shocked to find that they have a number of alcoholic beverages: a spiked chai, peanut-butter whiskey, and a sugar cookie. Excited to return to give these a try! read more

I went in here on a Monday morning. I grabbed a cold brew with orange vanilla syrup. We also got a cold brew with vanilla syrup and honestly I couldn't tell the difference but both coffees tasted good and they were priced pretty average. The service was quick and you could grab it and go if you were in a hurry. The inside was bigger than I thought it was going to be. Definitely a place you could go to read or study. read more

This coffee shop looks so cute and cozy, but the experience was just meh. There are other local coffee shops in flagstaff I would have rather gone to. My boyfriend and I ordered two iced lattes and his drink was supposed to be a large but when we got it it was a medium. I told the barista who made it and he said it was rang in as medium, but my boyfriend always get a large coffee and I heard him say large lol. They didn't offer to remake it which is whatever we just left after that. The chocolate crossaint was also super hard and not that edible. Overall disappointing experience :( read more

OK, the staff are not super friendly in there - and so what? Are we not all there late at night because Macy's is closed in the evenings - and we still need more of that good espresso coffee? Firecreek tends to serve coffee on most evenings until 7 or 8. If you arrive when they are closing, they will still sell you a to go cup of coffee. Many cafes will refuse to do this because they are in the closing ritual of wage slavery. I know, I used to do that type of retail work too. Hey, Firecreek has the hard espresso, the ceramic cups, good wifi, and the baristas even offer a small glass of gas water with the espresso - like they do in Latin America. This good service shows support for cafe culture. The last time I was there, it was mostly filled with students preparing for their finals, and there was a female poetry slam in the back auditorium space. The poetry slam and the front cafe patrons were involved in their own little two worlds - and one group environment did not overwhelm the other one. The Firecreek has very good space and I think that the auditorium is sound proof. I regularly visit Flagstaff, so when I need a good espresso in the evening - there is only place I visit - Firecreek. read more

I love this place. It's not just a coffee shop, there's also an assortment of quality beer and wine. And, it's a creative venue for local artists as well. My son and I sometimes play music up on the stage. I like how there is an emphasis on creating a "listening venue," unlike other music venues that are more interested in selling drinks, and where the crowd talks over the people up on the stage. The coffee has always been good. I like that they care enough to use some organic milk and cream. They've been slow but steady in becoming fully operational since last winter, and I like that too. It tells me that they're not just in it for the money. Something gets improved every time I go there and I get the feeling that it will only keep getting better. There's a few glitches here and there, like any other business, but overall there's an air of quality and concern and appreciation that far surpasses them. Dream Syndicate (2/5): I was intrigued by the unique blend of orange, tangerine zest, and vanilla in this specialty drink. Unfortunately, it ended up tasting just like a regular vanilla latte with no hint of the promised citrus flavors. Matcha Latte (1/5): Regrettably, this was one of the worst drinks I've had in a while. It tasted overwhelmingly like watered-down milk, making it an easy pass for me. Cold Brew (4/5): On a positive note, the Cold Brew was a balanced and enjoyable option. It's a safe bet that's hard to mess up.
