Visiting Single Speed Coffee Roasters is an experience! This has got to be one of the highest quality coffee shops in Flagstaff! This is a local spot that is family owned and roasts their own coffee. I ordered their Colombian special and appreciated the espresso quality as well as the subtle sweetness. The atmosphere is so open, yet cozy. Will come back every time I'm in Flagstaff!

I stopped in for a cup of coffee on my way out of Flagstaff. It's a popular place! I shared a cappuccino and a Flagstaff Fog with a friend. I love Earl Grey tea and was pleasantly surprised that the Flagstaff fog captured the flavors beautifully. Usually London Fog lattes drown out the Earl Grey flavor with the milk, but this one did not. Highly recommend! The ambiance was nice - I grabbed a seat on the couch upstairs so I could enjoy my coffee. Service was great too.

The inside of the coffee shop was really clean. The workers were extremely friendly. I didn't like my first order so she redid it for me for free which was so sweet of her. I just got a drip coffee with maple syrup and whole milk. My boyfriend ordered a hot plain latte. Overall, the beans were 7/10, little bit too acidic for me. But the presentation was 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend stopping here if you would like a relaxed and nice vibe. Dog friendly and the food looked delicious. -

What a beautiful and contemporary place. My husband and I were headed out of town and stopped in for a tasty espresso drink and breakfast. We ordered a vanilla latte and a flat white and both were great. The espresso was nice and smooth! Not bitter at all. The breakfast sandwich was good. The basil pesto it has really amped it up, The southwest burrito with sweet potatoes and beans... so good! Service was fast, staff were friendly. What a lovely place!

The coffee they freshly ground was very yum! The roster is like a lab they experience different recipe onsite. They are about open/expend the indoor seatings on 6/2. Check it out if you are in Flagstaff!

Excellent! First of all, we tried them for first time in 2022 for my bday weekend and then 2024 for my birthday again for the 2nd time. They definitely deserve a shout out since day 1! Best coffee and coffee roaster in Flagstaff. I'm not gonna name any names but by far they outshine the main chain coffee places. If you like the taste of actual coffee and appreciate where your beans come from and how the get roasted, this is the place to go. Great quality coffee. I'm so thrilled they have this here. I've been waiting for a great quality coffee roaster to come and establish themselves in Flagstaff. Cold weather and coffee is a perfect combo. Service: Spectacular! Staff is very knowledgeable and if you are new to the coffee game (FYI I'm not lol) they will help guide you in the right direction. They are all so kind and patient. Great service. Ambiance: It is very cozy, modern, chill and beautiful. I noticed compared to 2022 they did expand the upstairs and put more seating . Coffee: Over the years we've tried their espressos and pour overs. On this particular visit, we went twice! Couldn't help it. Great coffee in a short period, you gotta have it as much as you can. I had the pink borbon. This coffee varietal tends to be a favorite of mine. We also tried their nitro cold brew which was a hit with us. Very smooth. If you are looking for great quality coffee, please come here. You won't regret it. My first love with artisanal/unique/quality roasted coffee was in 2016. My quest for the discovery of coffee in different cities continues. I like to give a shout out to places who excel in that and want others to appreciate your coffee and feel that love for coffee. In fact once you have good quality coffee you can't go back to the main chain places . It will change you forever. Definitely recommend!

If you're looking for craft coffee in Flagstaff, this is it. The flavors are rich & bold, not bitter. Syrups are house made. Alternative milks are offered. And if you need a bag for home, they've got that too; they're a micro roaster ;) The parking is easy, plenty of space. There's a walk up window and menus outside for ordering, along with indoor ordering, in a very compact space. Bistro tables alongside the wall near the entrance are comfy for enjoying the fresh air. The upstairs space is compact, and fills up quickly. I love the coffee here, and always stop in when I'm in town. The service behind the counter this time felt monotone. Maybe the end of the day isn't the best time to visit...

Ugh, I couldn't remember the name of this place but knew it was connected to a bicycle type name. I went somewhere else on my way through town and was so disappointed. This place is awesome! It is clean, quiet, and super friendly. They are good roasters and supply coffee to other shops in Flagstaff. The food here is above grade and excellent. This is the place if you're a coffee snob or foodie. It's not the best layout as immediately when you enter you're hit with the ordering/coffee making spot. It's amazing food and not overpriced and the coffee is a step above many others in town.

Dis cortados and a pear cardamom scone

Welcoming, cool vibe from the moment you walk in. Top tier cortados and the scone was soooo yummy. Not every place offers a proper scone but they do here. Such friendly and helpful staff.

Great third wave coffee in Flagstaff! Tasty cold brew, drip coffee, and beans! We ended up taking home a bag of espresso beans and they taste wonderful.

Cold brew and Latte

I stopped by recently and had an incredible cold brew -- smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best I've had in a while! You can tell real care went into the brew process. However, I also ordered a latte, and that one didn't quite hit the mark for me. It tasted mostly like warm milk, with very little coffee flavor coming through. I was hoping for a richer espresso presence, especially considering how great the cold brew was. That said, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. I'd definitely come back for the cold brew and would love to give the espresso drinks another try in the future -- maybe it was just an off day.

Genuinely chill nice folks working at this spot. The coffee is simple but done right. If you're looking for a Starbucks or Dutch bros type of experience you won't find it here. The space is suited perfectly for sitting quietly and reading a book or a meet up with a friend to talk about life. Prices are reasonable and the options are more than enough. Single speed is a great name because you cost in and cost out, no hurry or worry!

Driving through Flagstaff to CA. Found this amazing coffee shop on Yelp. Really glad we stopped! Probably the best taste espresso I've had in a long time. They had really cool specialty drinks as well as seasonal drinks.

Excellent coffee, seems like a cool place to hang out to kill some time. There was plenty of parking.

Best decaf American I've ever had. And I've had a lot of them, in a lot of great coffee shops.

I struggled to stop myself from chugging the whole thing just so I can enjoy my drink more. Heck, I should've just bought another one! What we tried: Iced Hazelnut Mocha Latte (seasonal special) - 5/5 Strawberry Matcha Latte (seasonal special) - 4/5 Dirty Chai Latte - 4.5/5 They have *THE BEST* hazelnut mocha latte I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them since it's pretty much my favorite coffee flavor combination. I would have 20 cups of it if I could. Or take some home with me and keep gallons of it in our freezer just so I can have it everyday. Because it absolutely hit all the right notes for me. The strawberry matcha latte was good, but I didn't taste much strawberry, and I personally prefer my matcha latte to have a little bit of sweetness--like a good balance of earthy and sweet--but this wasn't sweet at all. Their dirty chai, on the other hand, was like a warm hug on a cold day. It had the perfect blend of spiciness, sweetness, and creaminess with an extra kick of caffeine. I can definitely see now why people consider this as the best coffee shop in town. I know I'll be coming back and getting my coffee here every time we visit Sedona!

One thing to get are those delicious pastries staring at you in the counter, specifically, their chocolate croissant. Once that thing was toasted, it was the perfect amount of flaky, buttery, and chocolate in every bite. Can't miss that one. My Salted Maple Latte was a little more on the salted side, so I didn't know if I thoroughly enjoyed that one. Their matcha is decent, but probably the best they have for a matcha option. I only know this because they use Mizubi matcha powder, and I've used that one in the past at home. The service was friendly, and I would suggest FreeForm for all the beverage options and a quick bite.

Roasted Ott

The Roasted Ott is not a business with a retail location you can patronize…read more This review is for people, who like me, search for local businesses in a given category to try out, and do so on a mobile platform. The Roasted Ott listing threw me off and took a bit of work to sort out. Here is what happened: I decided to create a new YELP COLLECTION called JAVAQUEST for all the coollocal places to get a cup of coffee. I searched on my device and the Roasted Ott came up. "Hmmm...this is strange" I thought... So here is a business with no reviews, with an address listed in an industrial area I am extremely familiar with, close to my home, and where I have never seen a coffee shop. The next time I drove down 6th street I saw no business or sign for Roasted Ott. I though "This may be another bad listing" especially after I clicked the weblink and got errors, and called the phone number and go a personal voice mailbox. (There have been lots of local bad listings - I think I have reported about 25 in the past couple years.) So. when I had a little more time I decided to track down the exact address, find what business that is and make a YELP correction. That investigative trip lead me into a small industrial complex that is off the road and behind all the businesses facing 6th Street. I found the suite number and snapped photo of the door to a commercial kitchen that is not designed for the public to patronize. "OK, I'll wait and write this review on my home computer instead of my device." I thought. Which lead me to this discovery: Not all information shown by YELP on a PC browser will be shown on a certain Device Platform, and vive versa! Who knew? I mean, I use 3 platform for YELP and I knew of small differences, but I was totally mislead about Roasted Ott one platform. At home I discovered "Info From The Business Owner" and learned that Roasted Ott is a small-volume boutique COFFEE ROASTER that provide coffee to The Wild Iris, and direct to clients via web order. (Their website does not open on one mobil platform I use, further giving me an incorrect initial conclusion.) I have not bought Roasted Ott coffee. Nor do I intend to. But, I have to award stars for a review, so I'll give 3 "A-OK." The business owner knows about this YELP listing, but surely had no idea about how someone might think they might be a coffee shop. So I can't fault them for that. However, I did submit a business edit to YELP to change this to a "Coffee Roastary." There are surely others who have thought as I did, and drove past the listed address, only to see Pudge & Asti's then some tire businesses, and thought "Oh well" and just forgot about it. Apparently, I suffer from Sherlock Holmes Syndrome. It's such a curse.
