A cute coffee shop in the middle of Sedona! Parking was alright because it is in a small shopping center in downtown. Service was good and they worked pretty fast to get the line down and drinks made. I ordered a matcha and it was yummy. Thanks to the barista that made it!
As a first time visitor to Sedona, I was very intrigued by the chic but inviting atmosphere of FreeForm Coffee. There was ample parking in the long, skinny adjacent parking lot. The store is relatively small but there are a few seating areas. We opted for the salted maple latte (maple syrup & sea salt) and honey cardamom latte (organic cardamom syrup, honey, cardamom). We liked the honey cardamom latte way more, as the salted maple latte was FAR TOO SALTY and detracted from the maple syrup and coffee flavors of the drink. And this is coming from someone who LOVES salted coffees. It was just far too overpowering. The honey cardamom was mildly sweet, with almost overpowering cardamom. Overall, very cute coffee shop with interesting specialty flavor recipes, but I didn't love the execution. Next time I'm in Sedona I'd consider coming back, but I wasn't utterly thrilled with my experience this time.
Popular local coffee spot on my must hit list I got to experience while visiting Sedona. The line was out the door, but I have to say it moved very smoothly and efficiently. Their store menu was posted above with a seasonal menu listed at the counter. We ordered the seasonal Horchata mocha and the strawberry matcha, both with oat milk. We were able to find a small table inside to enjoy our drinks. We loved them both! Smooth, creamy, and we slowly sipped them while people watching and chatting : D They do roast and sell their own coffee and even make a decaf version. Btw, they will even ground your store bought beans for ya, which I had them do for the decaf. Thank you! I would totally revisit, when back in town.
I had a good experience at this coffee shop. We arrived just in time before the morning rush so we didnt have to wait to order. I ordered a small iced vanilla chai latte and got myse;f a cute alien sticker. I waited a few minutes for my chai and it was perfect. The cashier was friendly and price was reasonable. There is some seating inside.
The parking lot was really busy on the Saturday morning I stopped by. The coffee shop was busy with people waiting for their drinks but there was no one in line to order. The cashier was really nice as she took my order. I was feeling adventurous and ordered an Iced Salted Maple Latte which really wasn't my favorite but it did the trick and woke me up. The inside is clean and airy.
Long line for a reason, the coffee is delicious! I tried the salted maple latte and the banana bread mocha. It's somewhat small but they have a few tables inside and sell their coffee beans. I was excited to try some pastries but notice the bleach blonde young woman with a bunny tattoo on her arm behind the counter cleaning and taking the trash out, she didn't say excuse me but kept pushing through the line. Then came back from taking the trash out and started reorganizing the pastries without washing her hands. Completely grossed me out and I told the guy at the register and he just shrugged it off and said okay thanks. The people making the coffee were great and had a friendly attitude.
Great coffee spot with a constant line on Saturday morning. Strong coffee, fast service and nice merch. Please come and create your own adventure.
FreeForm Coffee Roasters was saved in the bookmarks for a caffeine fix on this Sedona getaway. They have a curated coffee menu, along with some matcha and tea options. One thing to get are those delicious pastries staring at you in the counter, specifically, their chocolate croissant. Once that thing was toasted, it was the perfect amount of flaky, buttery, and chocolate in every bite. Can't miss that one. My Salted Maple Latte was a little more on the salted side, so I didn't know if I thoroughly enjoyed that one. Their matcha is decent, but probably the best they have for a matcha option. I only know this because they use Mizubi matcha powder, and I've used that one in the past at home. The service was friendly, and I would suggest FreeForm for all the beverage options and a quick bite.
When the locals tell you this is the best coffee in Sedona and a must stop when you're visiting, you listen. Because I fell in love at first sip here. Their coffee was like heaven in a cup. I struggled to stop myself from chugging the whole thing just so I can enjoy my drink more. Heck, I should've just bought another one! What we tried: Iced Hazelnut Mocha Latte (seasonal special) - 5/5 Strawberry Matcha Latte (seasonal special) - 4/5 Dirty Chai Latte - 4.5/5 They have *THE BEST* hazelnut mocha latte I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them since it's pretty much my favorite coffee flavor combination. I would have 20 cups of it if I could. Or take some home with me and keep gallons of it in our freezer just so I can have it everyday. Because it absolutely hit all the right notes for me. The strawberry matcha latte was good, but I didn't taste much strawberry, and I personally prefer my matcha latte to have a little bit of sweetness--like a good balance of earthy and sweet--but this wasn't sweet at all. Their dirty chai, on the other hand, was like a warm hug on a cold day. It had the perfect blend of spiciness, sweetness, and creaminess with an extra kick of caffeine. I can definitely see now why people consider this as the best coffee shop in town. I know I'll be coming back and getting my coffee here every time we visit Sedona!
Beautiful interior, delicious coffee and friendly staff. Nothing better! A must visit shop in Sedona if you're a coffee lover.
Best coffee experience while in Sedona. I dropped by on Presidents' Day morning and there was a substantial line when I arrived. Parking was still available which was nice. The line for coffee went pretty fast and the cashier that took our order was all good vibes. Getting our order was quick too; I think there were 3 baristas making orders. I was able to try their latte and iced chai. Chai was the right amount of sweetness; I had tried The Chai Spot and enjoyed this more. Latte was great as well! I don't know if they rotate their beans, but the coffee they pick was not too sour for me. Overall, a great coffee spot if you are in the Sedona area!
Super busy on Sunday morning, this is the place to be. I got a London fog latte. There are seats inside and upstairs. The view upstairs is so gorgeous. They have some pastries like croissants and muffins but no full meals. You are walking distance to the Tlaquepaque area. My friend got a matcha and enjoyed it. Great morning spot and I will definitely be back

I'm from Los Angeles & this coffee shop is great! I got the pistachio mocha coffee, with light ice. Super good, not too sweet like a Dutch Bros kind of drink. I also bought the carrot walnut muffin and it is soooo moist and fluffy. I will definitely come back here. Staff was super nice and easy going too. The ambiance has a couple tables on the side and chairs near the back. I came on a Monday morning so no line and lots of free parking for the plaza! read more

I've been hoping to find an amazing local roaster since we came into town and Freeform was the one to beat. Hidden away in Sedona this beautiful picturesque coffee shop is 100 percent the best shop i visited on my trip to AZ. The espresso is excellent, and the drinks are complimented by that. I got 4 drinks in total, iced americano salted maple hazelnut mocha and a cortado. All of them were fantastic, though my personal favorite was the salted maple latte. Unlike most places, the maple is pre salted so the amount of salt in the drink is always consistent. This is a huge bonus because you don't have to wonder if it will be too salted. The have a variety of different coffees available to purchase which all smelled incredibly delicious. This is one place that you need to go to if you're ever in Sedona. 10/10 read more
What a cute coffee shop located in Sedona! My husband was looking for some good third wave coffee and found this place. He had the pour over while I had the London Fog as the non coffee drinker. This place is constantly busy - we were there for close to an hour - hour and a half on a Sunday morning and there always was a line. I appreciate that if you order for here they give you your drink in a mug. I really loved my London Fog as it wasn't too sweet! Price seems on par for the specialty coffee. I can't recommend this place to study/meet up as the inside is very small and has only enough seating for 15 people at most but we were able to snag a table after waiting for about 10 minutes. They also have a balcony upstairs with a couple 2 seater tables outside. Parking is free in the front and on the side. read more
This place is very busy. We came around 8:30 and there was so much people waiting for their orders. My husband got the mocha and he said it was good. They also have merch in the back. The door is pretty small so if there is a line you have to squeeze out because some people don't want to move out of the way. read more

Taste - Disgustingly Bitter, additives flavorless... Volume - the excuse given when you ask why methods used to enhance flavor aren't followed... Value - None, maybe to say you had coffee in Sedona? But I couldn't drink it past the first try! So definitely none! Wouldn't recommend if it was the last coffee stop for days! A gas station drip coffee has better flavor! read more
Great indoor space, super clean and friendly staff, and perfectly located just outside of Tlaquepaque. They open pretty early too, for those who enjoy a good sunrise hike. The seasonal syrup flavors seem to be a local favorite, we got a hot cardamom spiced latte and marshmallow macha latte, but the matcha was a bit bitter and clumpy. Still worth the visit, and they have several comfy seating options indoors & outside if you wanted a place to meet with a friend or do some work. read more
This is a very nice coffee roaster. They made a very nice latte and after chatting with them, said they could make me a breve if I ask. We didn't see any pastries or food so I think it's coffee only. They also had a nice selection of beans available. read more

I had the hazelnut iced latte with almond milk and it was incredible. I'm definitely a coffee snob, so this made me so happy. I love supporting independent coffee shops, and this one did not disappoint. My little brother had a muffin, and my parents ordered pour-over coffee--they loved it too. The barista was so sweet and outgoing. When she wasn't making drinks, she took the time to chat with me and my mom and even shared some local spots to check out away from the crowds. Overall, one of my favorite coffee experiences. The inside was also very clean and cozy to just sit and relax. read more

We were here for 3 days and came here every morning for all 3 days. The nicest barista, the silkiest specialty lattes. It was the perfect hot cup of warmth to start the morning. We LOVED the hot salted maple latte and highly recommend it. read more

We passed by this coffee shop several times over the weekend and noticed it always had a line out the door, so I knew it had to be worth a stop. When we finally went in, the inside was super cute, aesthetically pleasing, and very clean. It had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and despite being busy, it didn't feel chaotic. We visited late in the morning, around 10:30 a.m. The line wasn't too long at that point, but the shop was still packed with people waiting on their orders, and most of the tables were full. It definitely seemed like a popular spot with both locals and visitors. I ordered a seasonal latte, a hot cinnamon amaretto with almond milk and two extra shots of espresso. The espresso was perfectly brewed with no burnt or bitter taste, which I always appreciate. The amaretto flavor came through a bit stronger than the cinnamon, but overall the latte was smooth, flavorful, and really enjoyable. It's easy to see why this place stays busy. Between the atmosphere and the quality of the coffee, it's definitely somewhere I'd stop again to try something different on the menu. read more
