This is probably the worst drink I have ever had from any cafe establishment. I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk, expecting that somewhere operating under a Starbucks "we proudly serve" model and charging accordingly would mimic an actual Starbucks--I was unpleasantly surprised. Two stars instead of one because the service was good and you really can't beat that view. read more

Me and my wife stopped in here to grab something quick before our tour started. Staff was very pleasant and there was not a long wait at all. I ordered the sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich which was pretty good. The place is not that big on the inside but there is room outdoors to enjoy your food/beverage. read more

I thought another reviewer was being petty when she said the Java Cafe didn't meet her expectations, so I went anyway. Then I wished I had heeded her warning. My iced matcha latte was more like a mildly flavored milk beverage. I think they just use Starbucks beans, they don't make Starbucks drinks. read more

Came here to try it out after hearing they had new owners. I must say it was an A+++ experience! I wasn't sure what I wanted, but they had a plethora of drink choices, and I opted for a tea drink called a Haze. It was pretty good. I was also hungry, so I asked the handsome gentleman behind the counter to make me a turkey/swiss on a croissant. Hit the spot! Nothing but good vibes with this place. Java cafe was perfect for us because it was right up the street from our hotel. We did a quick morning walk over and realized they serve Starbucks drinks! We ordered a few hot coffees and the wait wasn't long and the coffee tasted just like a Starbucks, very reassuring. Lol they have tables outside the cafe. Great coffee and tea, and it is one of the few (only??) place open early in Uptown Sedona. We stayed in uptown and were surprised there are hardly any places open before 8am. Java Cafe was and we hit it for coffee and breakfast twice. I had a cafe latte and chi tea and both were excellent. The breakfast sandwiches were a bit dry but ok. Service was quick. One of the employees also recommended some great hiking trails for use to hit in the area. No seating in the cafe, but they have outdoor seating with excellent views of the red rocks. I just got a bagel and cream cheese as well as a Starbucks Frappuccino and it was all as you would expect. The poor review is for the poor service I received from the gentleman who was working in here on January 29. He was probably the most rude person I have experienced in a long time. I don't know why he had a stick up his butt this day. Everybody in Arizona is so friendly when it comes to customer service and I am one of those generally happy people with a smile on my face. But from the second I walked in he just had an attitude and I'm not sure why. He refused to smile and went out of his way to be especially rude for zero reason. Cute coffee shop. As busy as they are they were certainly fast along with friendly. This isn't a cafe you can drive and pull up to Park. Thry have some metered parking nearby. This place is basically a Starbucks without the name Starbucks. They serve Starbucks coffee and all food items are already premade and warmed in a microwave. Also to note all seating is outside. The employee working the day we visited was very nice. Stopped by here for a mid morning coffee & muffin. I bought a pumpkin spice latte & a lemon poppyseed muffin. The shop itself is small, but clean & the staff were friendly. I totally enjoyed my coffee, it tasted good without being overly sweet, like some seasonal flavors can be. They warmed up the muffin, which was a good size & moist, with a great lemon flavor. We are driving on a road trip and stopped in town for a vegan lunch. We love this place! The food is amazing! We ordered a spinach savory crepe, a vegan Nutella crepe, a vegan fish sandwich, sweet potato fries, vegan chicken wings and vegan Mac n cheese. Everything was amazing! This place is basically a small starbucks however it's location is downright perfect. We ordered our coffees and sat outside to take in all the gorgeous views of the red rocks. Nothing special about the coffee it was as to be expected from starbucks and we didn't try the food but if you want some coffee with a view to take a break from shopping this is a nice spot to do so! read more

The only place open early, the cashier told us there was a delay on the breakfast sandwiches, we said no problem at all, and walked down the street for a few minutes after placing our order for our family. When we came back in, the other worker was abruptly like, "we ask that you stay in the lobby while you wait." There is no seating inside and a very small area. It was just odd and left a bad taste - the food and drink was very plain as well. Skip it if you're visiting Sedona. read more
