After having visited, I can definitely say that Sedonuts is in fact a can't-miss spot on your trip. I ordered the cookie monster donut and a regular drip coffee. While I hesitate to agree with any establishment that talks about having the best coffee because of that one scene in Elf, I can agree that it is good. And one donut was certainly not enough, but I was worried about how those would last in the heat and in my car. In retrospect, I wish I had listened to the voice in the back of my head telling me to get two. Learn from my mistake and indulge the whim. I was worried about a long line, but I came at around 0900 on a Sunday and waited in a very short, fast-moving line. A large part of that is pretty exceptional service, who didn't point to the big sign that answered one of the questions I asked. The inside is quite small, and there's limited seating indoors and outdoors. I really can't say enough good things about Sedonuts, and look forward to being back on my next trip.

These are very nice donuts. These are also very good looking donuts. They have a lot of options and some of them are quite creative. They tasted very fresh. Now, there may be a line and the line may be out the door because this is a small shop and it is very popular. The line moves quickly, so never fear. You should fear that they might sell out of your favorite donut if you don't get here quickly. They have people waiting outside even before they open. I am no donut expert but there is no question these donuts look good and taste good. But in my experience, the cheapo donuts you can get from the random immigrant-owned shops in just about every city also taste good for about half the price or even less. But these are very nice looking and good tasting donuts, don't get me wrong. They have signs here and there inside the store indicating this place is a Top 100 or even a Top 50 donut shop in the country, I guess. I don't know how you rank donut shops but hey, maybe they are. They have cool t-shirts and other merch for sale here, too. This is a very solid donut shop, if that's your jam or jelly.

We were looking for bagels for the first morning after checking into our Airbnb and we were in the Safeway parking lot and saw there was a donut shop in the plaza and decided to check it out. The line was halfway down the row of stores, so we knew it had to be something popular/delicious. My brother stood in line at 835am (Thurs) while I grabbed the rest of the items from Safeway. We were only in line for about 35mins total and there were plenty of items left when we got to the counter (including the vortex roll which was supposed to be the most popular item). We ordered 2 dozen assorted donuts (1 dozen raised and 1 dozen cake). The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they have plenty of people to help the lines move faster. Just get there early if you have specific donuts you want because once they sell out, they are out. They were a huge hit when we got back to the house, and the leftovers were still delicious the 2nd day. I saved myself a red rock red velvet and the raspberry filled powdered donut. The red velvet was so cake-like soft center and a light glaze on it. It was definitely one of the best donuts I have had here in AZ. I ate the raspberry one the next day and it was still perfectly scrumptious. The filling was plentiful, and the dough was perfect ratio and texture. Highly recommend and totally worth the wait!

Yes. These ARE the best donuts we've ever had! Tender, flavorful and great options. The apple fritter is hands down the best we've ever tried. Staff was efficient. They were training a new person so coffee/drinks were a little slow but we got there early and there wasn't a line. Small shop with a few tables inside and out. Cute merch with Sedonuts branding. I am on the fence about whether these donuts are worth the wait (for us, about 20-30 minutes), but I will admit that they were exceptionally delicious! We ordered a variety of donuts, all responsibly priced for the quality. I especially loved all their maple donuts and the Oreo donut. The cinnamon roll was also fantastic. Inside, there were a few tables, but honestly, I don't recommend dining in; the place was so packed, I cannot imagine dining in as a relaxing experience. The staff was nice, fast, and efficient. Once we got to ordering, they got us in and out quickly. And the merch was pretty cool -- very colorful and fun. If I come back to Sedona, I will be at Sedonuts for sure! read more

This is a must do in Sedona! Stopped with family and got a dozen. The line was outside the store about 30 people long but moved quickly. Parking was sufficient in strip mall lot. My favs were the apple fritter and the Old fashioned with chocolate. read more

Great spot but get here early they close when sold out. Prices are decent for Sedona coffee was good (not outstanding). The almond bear claw was well done with almond paste in every bite. The cake donuts were great a little dry but had flavor. Overall we tried them and were happy. read more

There is a reason this place is top ranked on Yelp! Their donuts were so fresh and flavorful. The line was loooong but they were so efficient inside that it took no time at all. The space is small, but there are seats if needed! I recommend the blueberry, maple bacon, and red velvet donuts! read more
Donuts are dense and super sweet. Yes donut are sweet but it takes it up a notch. It was a nice carb load before our hikes. Paired it with chai lattes, cold brew, and hazelnut mocha latte. Extra thumbs up on the hazelnut mocha latte - smooth flavor and just right on the sweetness level. read more
While a doughnut stop would not normally be a priority for us, given the reviews and the claim to be the "#1 Coffee and Donut shop in Arizona", my curiosity was piqued, as I wanted to experience the best in the state! Only open until noon, we arrived too late on attempt #1, with success on our 2nd attempt. Hubby and I consumed our respective orders of Cinnamon Roll and Apple Fritter; comparing these to our favorites of the same type (Apple Fritters I've loved have been taller and fluffier, with more apple pieces and flavor, with a delicate crisp exterior), neither had us longing for more -- or to necessarily order either, again. I visited Sedona for the first time and made sure Sedonuts was on my list. I tried the Cookie Monster donut, and honestly, it was one of the best donuts I've ever had. The glaze and toppings weren't overly sweet, and the dough was light, airy, and most importantly, not greasy. I didn't feel heavy or guilty after eating it. What really impressed me is that I didn't eat the donut until nearly 12 hours later, and it still tasted fresh and delicious. I actually wish I had bought a few more to take home. Customer service was just okay. There were two people working the counter; they weren't particularly friendly, but they weren't rude either. Overall, I'd definitely go back for the donuts alone if I ever return to Sedona. read more
I LOVED this place! First of all... the name. Second of all... the donuts. My friend and I stopped by here on the way to a hike - great way to load up on carbs. They had a ton of great flavors and you could really tell the donuts were of high quality. The was a bit of a line when we went, but it moved pretty quickly. We took our donuts to go because the shop was so busy and it wasn't really the type of place to sit around. Great vibes, though. I'd happily return if I came back to Sedona. read more
Stopped in on our way out of Sedona and needed to try all the things so we got a box with a mini vortex, raspberry filled, red velvet, glazed, a chocolate bar, and a pistachio latte. The line was pretty long but it moved quickly. Service was efficient, the space is clean and cute, and it's clearly a favorite among the locals. When I tell you that the chocolate bar changed my life, believe me. I don't lie about donuts. The donuts are fluffy and oversized and the sweetness comes mostly from the glaze and/or icing. The combination is perfect and not too sweet. The pistachio latte was so perfectly balanced. This will be a must stop on our next trip! read more

Popped in while running errands to see what the hype was about - while expensive, the donuts are fluffy and delicious. I got a coconut cake style donut. The outside of the pastry was crispy while the inside light and fluffy. Perfect. Frosted in chocolate and coconut flakes, it was delicious. $2.50 for a specialty donut so not cheap but certainly delicious. Lots of flavors and coffee drinks to choose from, so if you're a sweet person, it's worth the visit. read more

Get here early because there is always a queue, but the line does move quickly. The donuts are amazing and definitely made fresh each day! I tried the pink sprinkle and a cake donut which were both delicious. Lattes and the kiwi krush refresher were excellent as well. There is limited seating indoors and a few tables on the patio. A busy space and it was a little unclear on where and how to order and actually someone in line behind us (after waiting about 15 min) ordered before us because they had been here before and knew how to order lol. No biggie though. This is clearly a tourist favorite but the staff kept the coffee and donuts coming quickly. I ordered a cold brew and a half dozen donuts. Stopped at Sedonuts while exploring Sedona. The apple fritter was really thin and crispy. Not my style. The bear claw had almond paste inside and was kind of like a Dutch letter. The Blueberry Donut was delicious. The donuts are delicious and would stop again. read more
Roamed into the shop by accident but so glad we did! Their donuts were very airy and soft. There were also some fun specialty options. My favorite donut was the cookie monster. I would recommend this place for their treats but their coffee and refreshers were not that great. There is very limited seating indoors and outdoors. SEDONUTS in Sedona is an absolute MUST-VISIT! The flavors are creative, fun, and completely delicious. The lemon doughnut was hands-down the BEST lemon doughnut I have ever tasted -- perfectly bright, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The whole shop has such a fun atmosphere with positive vibes everywhere. It feels happy the moment you walk in! If you love unique treats and great energy, this place will make your day. The reviews were spot on! This place was nearby our Airbnb, so we decided to check it out. We went on a Sunday morning around 9 AM and, although there was already a bit of a line, it moved quickly, so no issues at all. The ladies who helped us were incredibly friendly and offered great donut recommendations since it was our first time here. I especially loved the lemon blueberry donut and my bf really liked the maple bacon. All donuts were absolutely delicious, so fresh, soft, and fluffy. We ended up finishing all six in the same day (no regrets!). The shop itself was super cute, and they even sell their own t-shirt merch. If you love donuts and you're in Sedona, this spot is a must-visit. read more

It'd been a year since I last had Sedonuts. This time I was so prepared and made sure to have some milk handy. They had some new specialty donuts available: 3 different types of Ube donuts. It was pretty packed and the line went out the door. We arrived early morning right when they opened at 6am. They have new merch now including a sedonut shirt in a can with a mystery sticker. Staff are friendly and the seating inside and outside is limited. So many specialty donuts and I opted for the basic looking one, it was yummy. read more

A must if you're in Sedona. I'm all about playful places that celebrate the area you're in. The names of the donuts are so fun and the perfect way to treat yourself after epic hikes in Sedona. We loved the Vortex (cinnamon roll) and the Red Rock Velvet (old fashion red velvet donut). Washed down with the Brown Butter Toffee Chai. read more

The donuts tasted excellent, highly recommend! The worker with the bandana was so sweet and accomodating, however the rest of the service was below suboptimal. It was not busy at all, but our group experienced a lot of unnecessary attitude, no smiles, and the vibe that we were inconveniencing the staff with simple inquiries of what they would recommend, specifically the staff member with blonde and pink hair. The staff need a reminder that they are working in the service industry and a little positive attitude can go a long way. read more

Adorable place! They serve the largest, fresh donuts for a reasonable price. There's plenty of seating inside and the workers were very nice. They also have a display of magnets and stickers that were adorable. Love the Arizona landscape mixed with the donut art. read more
