Perfect seasonal spot in Kachina. Lavender latte and the berry crumble start any weekend off right.

There's a deep reddish brown salsa that is my personal favorite, followed by the bright green jalapeño salsa. The hominy soup was great. The broth was spicy and beefy with a good amount of hominy that adsorbed the broth and very tasty with a nice satisfying chewiness. Honestly, it's hard to drive past this trailer without stopping. It's literally on corner of Zalesky Road and 89a on outskirts of Cottonwood. I believe the cook is actually Oaxacan because there's a friendly order-taker guy by the window who notes your order and passes to the cook inside. Delicious, authentic, real food. Most people seem to prefer eating in their vehicles in the ample parking area. But they do offer outdoor cafeteria style tables under a tarpaulin cover with patio heaters if you avoid eating in your car.

Walking up to the food truck you're greeted by the welcoming smell of street tacos. The gentleman…read moreoutside was very helpful and polite. Once we ordered we sat down in their outdoor covered seating. We were offered a bowl of soup on a cold night free of charge. They have a good selection of sauces and toppings for your meal. The tacos were amazing! Fresh soft corn tortillas filled with flavorful meats of your choice. They added some onions, lettuce, and a spicy pepper if you're brave enough. I recommend this business for anyone looking for good homemade food.

We only wanted seafood because we've been eating a lot of meat lately. While browsing the menus, we noticed there was a different restaurant name on the menu. Apparently there must've been a change of ownership or something. Of course chips and salsa were brought out to start filling our bellies. After browsing the menu, we ordered Baja Mar (shrimp and octopus ceviche) tostada, Mahi Mahi, shrimp, and fried fish tacos! OMG, they were good. The ceviche was one of the best we ever had. The tacos were delicious and stuffed with ingredients. Ask for the orange sauce! It puts them over the top. Of course I had to wash it down with a cerveza! The food was so good, we returned the very next day for lunch. We had to order the Baja Mar again because it was our favorite item on the menu! It was our last great meal of our trip! In fact the two times we ate here was the highlight of our trip! We will certainly be back whenever we visit Flagstaff!

One of its best features is its location right in the heart of downtown, though parking can be a challenge. Another plus is that they welcome dogs on a leash at their outdoor tables. The food was good and the prices are fair for the area, but the service was very slow we waited over 40 minutes for our meals. We ended up staying mainly because we had our dog with us and didn't want the hassle of finding another place.

Both Cashier and Baristas were very friendly and had great memory of the friend(s) who sent us to Lund, so it was great to connect over mutual friends. They are also hitting their 5-year anniversary (celebrating June 27th + 28th!) Rare to find coffee shops that offer discounts, and that make sure to ask, but we were asked if we were students, teachers, or military which was nice. I tried their Flew From Samoa Latte and it was really tasty! 10/10 would recommend.

Maybe they were still new and working things out? I came back later with my boyfriend and ordered the same drink, while he got a latte and a pastry. This time, the coffee exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the cappuccino and have been back several times since. On one visit with my girlfriends, they happened to have a coffee drink named "Liv," which gave us a good laugh. Another thing I appreciate is that they offer discounts for teachers andwhich was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a cozy coffee shop with friendly staff, great coffee, and thoughtful perks for the community. I'm glad I gave it a second chance and will definitely be back.
