Today I tried Lemon Berry on a homemade waffle cone. Creamy Lemon not too over powering on the citrus large strawberries. I would definitely come back for this flavor The service is great. Fast and knowledgeable Tiny ice cream shop with premium ice cream
Wonderful place to support! Two brothers own and operate this ice cream spot. They make all ice cream from scratch using local, organic ingredients. We had the cookie dough, rocky Route 66, and a seasonal pumpkin pie. The kiddos had the fresh made waffle cones which they commented, " these are soooo good!" We were very happy with the quality, taste, clean ingredients and WILL be back! So glad there are still small spots beaming w integrity.

The selection might be smaller, but the quality is amazing. Organic and small batch made daily, this tiny ice creamery makes legit ice cream! We ordered the mint chip (I think it as called Mint Freckle) and it was probably one of the best we've had! And then they had a cold brew coffee that was also so tasty! We'd definitely return if we're in Flagstaff again!
I spend at least a week every summer in Flag, and have always thought it lacked a great local ice cream shop. Every year I go up, I conduct the hopeful internet search and 2024 was the year: Timberline Ice Cream. And stoked when I saw the location on the map - no need to have to deal with downtown parking just to grab an ice cream. I was aware of Timberline from the Farmers Market, but at 9am on a Sunday I'm not typically wanting a cup of ice cream, so was excited I'd finally get to try this product. I ordered the Mint Freckle in a cup, which I have to say, it bothers me a bit they don't just call it Mint Chocolate Chip. That's what I was after, and probably as many other customers will, I had to ask to make sure that's what I was getting. The ice cream was really great. What wasn't great was standing there eating it next to a gas station and along a somewhat unaesthetic strip mall of the most random businesses. Also nowhere to eat inside if it was unpleasant outside. It's really more of a space in a strip mall they seem to have rented to produce their ice cream, and had the afterthought, let's put a register at the door and also sell scoops. So to me the Flag market for a great local ice cream shop is still wide open for grabs. They have the product, but if I were a young family with kids, I'd probably just as soon host a summer ice cream afternoon on my back patio with a good store bought ice cream.
Creamy, smooth, and delicious! That's how I describe Timberline Ice Cream. The owner was really friendly too. They're still working on finishing up the inside of the shop, but they've been too busy making ice cream cause people keep stopping in. I know why. I got two containers with two scoops each. Chocolate, mint chip, butter pecan and vanilla. You need to stop in. There's always room for ice cream!
THE BEST!!! I'll be honest, I get super bummed out when they are sold out of their ice cream and waffle cones but in my opinion that speaks volume. They make quality product with the staff they have. They put so much time, love, and effort into everything that is made. I'd say, let's keep selling them out, if you get there on time and you get the flavor you want consider yourself lucky. Aside from ice cream, they also have the best service too, I love coming here and seeing what flavors they have. Thank you for being the BEST!!!
Ambience: you'll see from the pictures there really isn't any even though I like no-frills. Service: nice young man that clearly took some pride in product. Food: I was so wanting to absolutely adore this place, especially the ice cream. It's good but not great. Rocky Route 66-smooth chocolate flavor was enjoyable Butter Pecan-generous pecans, base ice cream was too sweet Waffle cones-smelled good in the store but disappointing texture plus I am not a fan of the hint of cinnamon. As pictured, the scoop is generous, $4 plus $1 for the cone.

this is THE best ice cream in flagstaff. The flavors are great we love cookies and cream and blueberry cheesecake. Have been back multiple times because the flavors change and we've always been happy with how it turns out. Creamy, flavorful and delicious! Also, affordable! read more
A literal hole in the wall next to a Circle K convenience store but staff was friendly! We were able to sample the different flavors they had available and ended up ordering the Lemon Berry. The scoop was $4.50 and it was a very generous serving for us to share which was nice! read more

Timberline ice cream seems to be one of the best ice cream in flagstaff. Although their yelp and apple open dates/time are incorrect, they were open on Sunday at 3pm. They do have some limited hours on Sunday. All their ice cream are made locally which is great. We were able to sample the entire menu but my favorite ice cream was the blueberry cheesecake ice cream, it was absolutely delish. It had actual fresh blueberries within the ice cream. It was really creamy but also not too sweet. It was a great balance. The workers were very patient during the entire time we spent sampling and give pretty decent scopes. I'll be back whenever I'm in the city again read more

After stuffing ourselves silly at Fratelli's, our local padre (yes, the actual priest!) whisked us away to this hidden gem of frozen delight. My triple chocolate cone? A cocoa lover's fever dream! The flavor wizard behind the counter (aka the owner, Nick) rotates his special concoctions based on whatever magical ingredients he can conjure up. We got trapped in his spell as he regaled us with his ice cream dreams, wild flavor fantasies, and the rollercoaster ride of scooping for a living. This isn't your corporate frozen factory - it's a labor of love so focused on perfection that the shop's only identification is a hilariously minimalist sign that simply announces "Ice Cream." The best ice cream in Flagstaff! Scratch that, in northern Arizona, scratch that, in Arizona, scratch that! The best ice cream, period! This small business recently opened in June 2022! You will find Nick and Seth at events, Flagstaff Community Market, Flagstaff Urban Flea Market, etc. Every time I see their cart, I must have some! They are expanding and hope to have a food truck soon. They now have both 8 and 12 ounce sizes, I can't wait for the gallon size, and the flavor menu keeps expanding. I have tried them all and my fave is Rocky Rt. 66, but all flavors are good and I was pleasantly surprised by the non-dairy Lemon Berry and Coconut Lemon Berry! Made locally in small batches with organic, local and regional ingredients. No artificial flavors or colors! This definitely makes a big difference in taste! Their sign says "bringing joy one scoop at a time!" I am overjoyed whenever I see Nick and Seth with their ice cream cart! I think the song, Yummy, Yummy, Yummy was written about Timberline Ice Cream! Get some love in your tummy! ;)' read more

Ice cream was/is delicious!! Exactly what I needed on a hot Flagstaff day! The biggest shock, was there was no line right at opening. They must stop destination if you're in Flagstaff. read more
