I got my bagel which was a 3/5 stars too. Waited another 5 minutes and went to the counter to kindly ask about my coffee. They told me I had to order at a totally separate side of the counter for coffee (why didn't the first counter tell me that when I ordered it and paid?), and I thought I already paid because it seemed pricey for just a bagel and cheese. I may or may not recommend this place, and I may never know if I will or will not, as the people were behind the counter are slow, and some of them aren't even working, but just literally standing there and talking for five minutes while the person who's supposed to be taking everyone's order and money is putting bagels in a bag. I can't understand what's happening here. I've been in line for at least 20 minutes and only two groups have paid in front of me. Solid bagel spot in downtown Flag. When we came, the line was almost out the door, which was a good sign! They move through the lines quickly so its worth the wait. They have a wide menu of bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and a tons of different flavors spreads. Food was very good! Sandwiches are loaded. Get here early if you want to beat the rush. This place can get busy. There's not really searing options here so it's more of a grab and go place so be warned. I ordered a 2 egg and meat sandwich with the garlic spread on the everything bagel and they do NOT skimp on the cream cheese. The bagels are pretty big too. As we were passing through Flagstaff we wanted to grab a quick breakfast bite and boy was Biff's the perfect stop. The service was so friendly and prompt. Good bagels! They're excellent fresh, though not my favorite the next day. The bagel sandwiches are solid, and I usually swing by on my way out of Flagstaff. The drip coffee was lukewarm this morning, which was surprising since I was one of the first through the door at 8am. Yes, there are lines, but they move quickly! The bagels, cream cheese and bagel sandwiches are all delicious. The space isn't huge, but customers don't linger too long, so there is usually space to sit and eat! The line was literally out the door when we stopped by Sunday morning and we decided to wait it out. In total we waited about 40 minutes in line until it was finally our turn, yay. The cashier was friendly and rang us up quick. My sister bought a club bagel on an everything one and her total with like a $2 tip was $17, yikes. We luckily found two empty bar stools and we sat down to wait. About 15 minutes later, our food was ready. The bagels were toasted nicely and had the right amount of cream cheese. My breakfast sandwich hit the spot and was very filling. My sisters club bagel was pretty good, tasted fresh, and we both agreed that the onion bagel was yummy. Prices are steep but at least the food was good. My husband and I had brunch here once in July. I thought my apple crunch bagel was too hard. The bagel was either a traditional hard style, or it was stale. We shared a chocolate muffin, and it was moist and fantastic. I ordered a latte. On the day we visited, the shop did not have whole milk. (Do they ever carry whole milk?) They offered either 2% or half and half. I asked them to mix part of each to approximate whole milk. My latte was served lukewarm, a disappointment. The cafe has hard metal stools, and none with backs. This seating is not very comfortable. My husband did not like the coffee. Visited a friend who lives in Flagstaff, we went to Biff's Sunday afternoon around 11:45 it was busy as we expected but they did not handle the crowd well. AT ALL! Ordered a turkey club asked for the bagel to be toasted, it was not. They were also out of cheddar cheese. My one friend's bagel had like no cream cheese on it and the bagel was deformed looking. Other friend got a sandwich also, they called her name she went up to get it and they proceeded to not give it to her and to put it on a shelf, while she was standing waiting there for 5 minutes, she asked for it and they said "hold on" even though they called her name! I also had to wait forever to order a coffee, finally ordered a small caramel latte. Waited for them to call my name and waited 15 minutes till i finally went up and was waiting by the counter. Asked the girl making coffee about my drink and she said she never got an order for a small caramel latte.
