Fantastic place! Cozy- Lots of plants, books, and cute decor. It feels very airy, earthy, and balanced. The barista helped us a lot from choosing our tea to recommending CBD to help my pain which Id mentioned to them when I came in. I felt rejuvenated and calmed after my visitz There are two steps at the entrance- I mention this only because someone with inhibited mobility might not be able to get up those steps alone *but* they make it very clear that they will assist you if you need it which is very kind. Kinda hard to find if you follow your gps so just am FYI you can walk through the tattoo place all the way in the back. :) If you are looking for a traditional sit down tea room, this is not the place. But if you are looking for an intimate atmosphere tea and coffee library feel, this is your place. Great service too. This is a very good place for chai. Not a huge selection of tea but again really good chai!! It takes a while for them to make it because it's all made to order. I was excited to go to this shop because I noticed a sign that said they have boba, and there aren't many boba places in Flagstaff. When I walked in, the ambiance was nice thankfully, but I said hello and walked up to the counter, and the barista just looked at me. I ordered the Persephone's Ascent drink with boba and went to sit down. It took her about 20 minutes to make it, and I understand that good quality takes time, but 20 minutes? When she was finally done making it, I went to pay and it was 12 dollars! I just decided that it was probably expensive because it was good or whatever, so I payed and left. When I got to my car and tried my drink it actually tasted like sour rose flavored bath water The boba was also flavorless, and when I got home I felt nauseous from the drink. Total waste of money, I will not be going here again. Please don't waste your time with this crap house. x read more

I found this accidentally while going to Woody's tattoo shop and as a tea lover, I was drawn in. I'm so happy to have found this place that all I want to do is go back there to read study and chat with friends. The inside is small but so incredibly cozy with the fire place in the corner. I have a French vanilla chai and it was amazing. I will be coming back not only for that drink but with the desire to try more and more. If you love tea, I highly recommend this place. At he suggestion of our friend Deborah and Steep - Leaf Lounge, our search for the Perfect Chai has taken us to a comfortably quant little shop off the beaten path in the epicurean and culturally eclectic area "South of the Tracks" in Flagstaff Arizona known as Curran's Specialty Chai's & Teas. Her we encountered a collection of Chai blends created with Curran's generational east Indian family recipes which proved to be nothing less than extraordinary. Narrowing our selection down to these three, with signature Flagstaff hospitality, our choices were graciously cupped out for our evaluation and tasting pleasure. With all three being more then worthy of space on our shelf, the Vermont Maple Spice Chai stands out. Boba tea costs an additional $3 on top of the tea you order. A Thai bob tea equals $8+. That is completely ridiculous. Also it was so watery. It had little to no flavor and no sweetener. Walking through Flagstaff on a visit and stumbled across this amazing gem. My girlfriend and I had been contemplating coffee and saw this and had to stop. The gentleman inside was amazingly helpful and friendly. He made us both a sample of the teas we wanted to try and made sure we liked what we got. I am not usually a person who will make a special trip to go to a tea shop but when I first found this place last year, it has become a destination for me whenever I travel to Flagstaff. It is the perfect place to relax after perhaps hiking in the area or shopping downtown. A friend of mine and I often take a trip up to Flag to run errands, go out for lunch.... We had been wanting to top off our outing with a great cup of tea but had been dissatisfied with our choices. Our luck changed when I had to park a distance from my usual parking area and ran across Curran's tea shop! He had a few Chai's to taste, I was impressed with the quality and diversity of his teas! I am a long time tea drinker and appreciate an exceptional cup of tea. I mentioned that I drink Genmaicha most every morning and he said he would be caring it soon. The following visit, sure enough Curran had Organic Genmaicha, and it was by far the BEST I've tried to this day! I would also like to recommend his Ginseng Chai, amazing! I had overheard someone talking at a coffee shop about a new tea shop that had amazing teas. While browsing the streets of Flag, I ran into it. Curran, the owner, was friendly and knowledgable. He offered to do a chai tasting for my husband and I to see what kind of chais we liked. He had 10 different chais prepared when we came back. I didn't even know that many existed, but hearing his stories, that's just the beginning. After, he sent us home with a complimentary bag of our own. I chose the Organic Green Tea Chai, while my husband chose the Qin Chai. We left with great knowledge, impeccable tea, and an afternoon of memories to share. read more

(He is the owner/operator) within my visits I have been exposed to and able to gift my friends and family the many amazing eclectic exciting teas that I would have never been exposed or known of unless I had been exposed to the passion, experience and travels that Curran has. What a amazing comfortable eclectic environment in a 100 year old stone building located in a unique south side flagstaff which housed previously a 1920s whore house ? Currans also has a quint gas fireplace to sip tea next to and chat or read while it's snowing outside. I Highly recommend a visit. Recommend as a must visit Northern Arizona experience! Curran is a really wonderful guy and his teas are superb. It was a pleasure to speak with him and he is very approachable. I had a Jasmine Pearl Tea which was very delicious. The biscotti that he sells are also really good. A cozy space perfect for a cup of delicious tea. It is a very small space with only 6 chairs, but that's not a huge deal. For some reason however, the teas were served in paper cups. I feel like that detracted a little from the experience as a whole. I definitely expected the teas to be served in at least a mug of some sort. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place! read more

My boyfriend was in the mood for a good cup of oolong tea. On our search we stumbled upon this little hidden gem. The moment we entered he came out and greeted us. The owner was extremely delightful and highly energetic about tea. He was enthusiastic about helping us, introducing us to his tea collection, and explaining the differences about the unique tea blends he offered. My boyfriend in his excitement settled on a cup of magnolia oolong and he couldn't have been more thrilled about his decision. After his first sip his eyes lit up and quickly indulged into a second which afterwards told me this was the best oolong tea he's tasted to date. He noted how the flavor was deliciously sweet and smooth and was an excellent choice. The owner brews each tea individually and uses loose tea leafs. The water was boiled to the correct temperature first and then the tea leaves steeped for the correct amount of time. Which allowed for the exceptional taste. The owners assistant was delightful as well. She chatted with us while we waited for our tea. With the fantastic experience we will definitely be returning again. read more

As a person with relatively high standards for tea, I can recommend this place without any hesitation. I haven't tried the actual tea, but the moment you take a sip of any latte in Flagstaff Tea, your mind will be blown. Your impression of tea will change from whatever low standard you had before, to whatever high standard you should have. Favorites include the London Fog, which has the most soothing foam that it's like a work of art. Downsides of this place include that it doesn't open late, and it is fairly small, so it can be tough to have privacy when more than 7 or 8 people are in it at a time. On the other hand, when no one is there, the atmosphere is quaint. Music ranges from some chill pop songs to string symphonies. All in all, I'd recommend it as a high quality tea place, where the owner cares about and knows about the tea. She's also quite personable, and I am happy to support her business. read more
