I enjoy stopping in to check out local olive oil shops and this one was great. With so many bottles everywhere I didn't know where to begin, but Tommy a store associate was super helpful. He gave me and my sister the run down of each section. He went over the different types of olive oils and made sure we knew to sample those we wanted to try. I sampled several different flavors, but I made a purchase of the Harissa olive oil since I was completely out of the one I had from a different company. At the time of my visit there was only one other person browsing around. Then after my sister and I arrived, a few more people came it. It was quiet with low music playing in the background. It was a really great first experience thanks to Tommy. read more

Love this shop! Chloe was so sweet and helpful when it came to the spices! 10/10 would recommend coming here if in Flag!

I'm always on the hunt for the perfect VOO with lemon that doesn't leave a funky after taste. While on vacation we stumbled on this amazing store. The gentleman working was so nice and knowledgeable. So many great oils and balsamic vinegars. The lemon infused oil and Sicilian white balsamic are AMAZING!! Made pasta and added both. Just put in another order for a gift read more

I love this shop! I'm a huge fan of olive oils and different vinegars and was delighted to find it while we wandered around town. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, even though it was relatively busy, he made sure to speak to everyone. We purchased a Tuscan herb-infused olive oil that is just spectacular. It's hard not to be pleased when you get to try before you buy! read more

My spouse and I walked in out of curiosity as we have not been into a place like this before. So, going in blindly and used to picking up a cheap bottle of balsamic from the local grocery store I figured I would finally see what stores like this are about. Let me tell you, I'm now already telling my sister and friends all about how amazing this place is! We walked out with 3 of the largest bottles of balsamic and made a fresh salad as soon as we got home yesterday. My husband even put some balsamic on his cottage cheese to have as dessert. My only regret was that I didn't purchase a pour spout but will be ordering from them and I'll make sure to put that into my virtual basket. Oh and we met the owner, super friendly guy and let us try anything without any pressure! I highly recommend this store and the products. read more

On this small business Saturday I wanted to write a review of one of my favorite small businesses that's big on flavor! OtB has been my go to not just for myself but for gifts for many years! Shopping here is stress free because you taste before you buy! Of course you'll find a variety of awesome olive oil's and balsamic vinegar's that will create the absolute perfect meal but we love some of their sweeter balsamic vinegar's for vanilla ice cream! The Cinnamon Pear and Dark Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar's are a couple of our faves for ice cream! We love their Aged Balsamic for salads and for Asian meals, the Japanese Toasted Sesame Olive Oil is a win! Scott is so helpful and it's so fun to sample all of this goodness! They also set their displays up with great pairings and have much more than olive oil! On your first go around make sure you give yourself a little extra time! ;) Check out their website for some great recipes, order online with free shipping on orders over $39 and sign up for their mailing list to get awesome updates and specials! Olive the Best - The perfect gift... Garlic Infused Olive Oil and Neapolitan Herb Balsamic Vinegar. - Olive Oil Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Ok, I know it might sound weird to want to spend a lot of time and have fun in a store specializing in olive oil, but it's so fun and easy to do here! Who would know that you could have so much FUN at an olive oil store! Olive the Best has a ton of specialty infused olive oils, balsamics, wine vinegars, salts and dipping spices, and more! They provide small disposable cups so you can taste and mix and match the flavors to see what pairs well together. I have probably spent an hour here doing just that. The owners are so kind and knowledgeable, giving suggestions and recommendations. Every time I come here, I end up having to go to the bakery and getting fresh bread to dip my new oils in. It's a great place for gifts too! OH, and don't miss out on the bread dipping spice mix. It's my secret ingredient in recipes but it's also sublime to add to your oil/balsamic dipper. read more

What a gem in Flagstaff! We are thankful to have stumbled in here and not only to meet the wonderful Scotty, but also to try his excellent products. Scotty welcomed us with open arms and shared his personal and professional story, which we were so happy to learn. I listened while sampling all the cold-pressed olive oils and balsamic vinegars. We ended up eagerly buying the harissa olive oil, the elderflower white balsamic vinegar, and the denissimo balsamic vinegar, and for a great price. They ship free, and 50% of their revenue is from eCommerce, so go ahead and support this great local business! read more

We were walking and shopping in downtown Flagstaff today and saw this shop and came in. Scott the owner was there and he was extremely knowledgeable about the various oils and vinegars selling. He mixed up a few for tasting....one of which we had to take home a garlic olive oil and then a Tuscany balsamic vinegar.....oh my goodness it was so good. There were so many different types that it was hard to choose from but in the end I had to get that first one. This shop is a real gem and it was something that we will definitely come back and try again. I highly recommend it....! read more

This place has fabulous vinegar and the owner Scott is amazing! Thanks for the great chat and sending our vinegars back to Philadelphia!

What a gem! Without a real plan I stopped by and oh my gosh, you need to come here! This is a truly family - owned business with such amazing products. They have a TON of different olive oils to choose from, all of which you can sample in store. They have balsamic everything, seasonings and lots of cool little samplings to pair with the oils. The owners, besides being kind, are so knowledgeable about their product and can recommend pretty much anything based on your tastes. I won't ever go back to cooking with "plain" store bought oil, they've spoiled me and I'm so glad I found their shop. Highly recommend! read more

I had previously shopped here when it was under different ownership and was hoping the new store would be able to reuse or recycle the old empty bottle I had from the previous store. The young woman working here said she would be able to recycle it at least. I also asked if I bought anything here, would I be able to bring any empty bottles so they could reuse them. I know at other olive oil stores (Including the previously owned one) they give you a discount for bringing back your old bottles. Unfortunately, this store doesn't. I basically took this bottle on a 2 hour joy ride from Phoenix to Flagstaff as it turns out, since I could have recycled this on my own at home haha. At least I know better now! I figured since I was here I might as well browse through the olive oils and vinegars. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have tempted myself, since I always end up taking home some sort of bottle from any oil and vinegar store I go to. The varieties here all sounded so appetizing! They have flavored olive oils, and premium varieties, including one that recently won in a competition. I ended up taking home a small bottle of mango balsamic vinegar because it sounded so unique and was quite tasty. As a side note, there isn't any mango puree in it, it's more like mango essence or mango extract flavoring the balsamic vinegar. They do have a very lovely maple vinegar that is made with pure maple syrup though. The damage? $12 for a 200 ml bottle. Time to make a lot of salads with mango balsamic vinaigrette! P.S. I totally didn't realize there was a check in offer for 15% off until I had already left the store so check in first! read more

I have really been into making different toast variations recently, so I grabbed some olive oil and vinegar from Olive the Best to bring my toasts to the next level. They have the best selection and so many unique infusions I've never heard of before! Scotty, the owner, was very welcoming and we had a great experience here. My friend and I had a fun time tasting different oil and vinegar pairings and narrowing down our options. I ended up picking the Tuscan herb olive oil and classic aged balsamic. I made an epic chimichurri peach toast with the Tuscan herb olive oil yesterday. The olive oil complemented the chimichurri so well and elevated the flavor. I'm feeling very inspired to come up with some new recipes and I'll definitely be back to try some different oils and vinegars! read more

There is olive oil, and then there's OLIVE OIL - and Olive the Best is on top of this game. This is hands down the most delicious olive oil I've ever used. Most of the flavors are delicious, but their Butter and Garlic infused oils are truly to die for, they are an explosion of flavor and savory goodness. I really can't get enough of these. Also give major props to their sesame oil and vinaigrettes, truly tasty. On top of the best olive oil, the owners are nice, friendly, and warm people. Very easy going and friendly folks who are more than happy to inform you on everything in the store, help you out, and get you all set. If you live in Flagstaff, or are passing through, please stop in and give these folks your support, they have incredible delicious products and old school service like we USED to have in this country. 5/5, 100 points, A+, you name it! read more

I am so sad there is only 5 stars to give. I LOVE this store. My husband and I found them while on our honeymoon and love them so much that couple months later we drove the 4.5 hrs there again to get the big big jugs of what we love. There is so many to choose from and they do have shipping but I wanted the big ones that they don't ship. They have amazing gift packages and I will be getting for some of my family for Christmas. This place is so clean and the owners are absolutely the most friendly people on earth. This place is a must even if you can only see them online then do it!!! I cannot give this place enough praise. We had my fur baby with us who is my emotional support dog and they allowed her in with no problems. She was on leash and she did have a stroller but she wanted to walk and they did not mind. Amazing amazing people. read more

We LOVE coming here! If the oils and vinegars don't make you keep coming back, it's Scott and his family! We were greeted by Scott today and he was just so helpful! We came in wanting to grab a few different bottles slightly out of our comfort zone and Scott really helped us find those flavors! He not only showed us some amazing flavors but also ways to use them! Highly recommend the Neapolitan herb oil.. it's delicious! And the peach white vinegar is something else! I went into the store while visiting Flagstaff, the owners greeted us warmly and told us to try anything they had out. I fell in love with several right off the bat. My two favorite Olive Oils are infused, the Garlic infused and Baklouti Green Chili pepper. I started ordering these for my closing gifts for the homes that I sell in California. But I have fallen in love with all of the vinegars the balsamic's and all of the oils, and I still haven't tried close to half of them. I highly recommend anyone who is near Flagstaff to go into the store and experience some wonderful gourmet oils, salts, vinegars and accessories. This is the only place I will buy from for this product. read more

Okay, if you have not yet tried the vinegars from this store, you are seriously missing out! I have not bought a salad dressing since I found this store! I thankfully found them at a festival when they had a booth. I have been buying their vinegars, oils, and maple syrups for over 4 years now. I NEVER buy salad dressings anymore! Love the shop. Great tasting. The owner was great and spent time with us. It was hard to pick what to bring home.

I believe this store has the same inventory as the olive oil store in Prescott. Although the staff wasn't very knowledgable, I am enough of a pro to know what I am looking for in extra virgin unflavored olive oil. Each year the crop has a different taste and I strive for the batch with the most intense pepper and bitterness. This years winner was the Don Carlo. They also have a great selection of TSA approved sized oils and vinegars for carry ons. read more

Walked in off the street to check it out. The owner was there with a smile and inviting us in to look around. He was with other customers at the time. I listened in and was impressed with his smile and service. When he met with us, again I was simply impressed with his customer service. We bought 3 different bottles of flavored olive oil. Tasted others and found them amazing. He was new to town as he just recently bought the business. People like that are very welcome in Flagstaff! Go visit his business and shop local. read more

Stopped in to see what they had. Garrett assisted, such a nice young man, extremely helpful. I'm not a fan of oil and vinegar, it's the tang of the vinegar I can't handle but he helped us pick one our, Red Apple Vinegar and then he helped us pick out a really nice herb oil to go with it. We chatted about our daughter and son in law moving there in the near future and he gave us some tips for them, they would get along great based on their motorcyle and camping likes so I have passed his name on to them. This place is the best! They're a family owned business and really care about what they're doing. Their olive oils and balsamic vinegars are top quality as well. I came in with no knowledge a few months ago and both father and son (they told me their names but I'm horrible with names) took the time to show me the ropes of olive oil/balsamic vinegar tasting. It's a great place and if you're in need for a super special gift for the cooking enthusiast (Or just yourself), pick them up something from here because you really can't go wrong with anything here!
