My group of five stopped by Flagstaff Baking Co for brunch on our way out of town. The shop is bright, cozy, and welcoming. There's ample seating indoor and more outdoor. There was a short line when we arrived. My son and I ordered the following: Giant cinnamon roll Veggie quiche Salmon lox bagel Almond milk latte Iced americano The cinnamon roll was massive and definitely plenty for sharing. I shared it with our group and we all loved it. I also got the veggie quiche and almond milk latte for myself, and my son opted for the salmon lox bagel and iced americano. What a great lplace to stop for breakfast and lunch! We stopped here during lunch, but could not resist the aroma of their great coffee and ordered yummy coffee drinks to start with. for lunch we ordered the "Avocado Tartine On Sourdough" and the "Meat and Egg". Cute place! We got a byo sandwich and the Caprese. I liked the prosciutto a lot. I saw lots of gluten free goodies like brownies which is always nice! Thai place is a non descriptive from the outside but don't let that fool you! The food here was incredible! AND they had amazing GF options which you don't always find in a bakery. I had the tartine and it came with a fried egg. Very delicious and filling. The inside is charming and warm. Back patio is also quite lovely. The cashier was very friendly, apologetic, and explained to us that she had sold out of almost everything for the day. Dropped by on our way out of flagstaff , the line was long when we came in, but the friendly service and dog friendliness of the establishment made up for it. I tried their tomato basil soup, which is the only soup they make, and house, or was the only soup they made in house that day, it was good could've used maybe a little more salt, but overall not too bad, I like the you could taste the garlic in it and it tasted homemade. It came with a side of sourdough bread. One of my friends had the bagel and cream cheese, kind of disappointing. It was more like a Starbucks, bagel and cream cheese situation. It's lovely inside, really lovely... it has tall loft ceilings and a medieval castle type feel.... I think because of the wooden door with metal clasp locking fixtures. It looks tiny from outside but it's spacious inside. Don't forget to walk to the back and check out the lovely outdoor patio. Also spacious and so cute for coffee dates with your dog! And your friend and friend's dog. I got there right at opening so myself and a few other sleepy eyed customers were wavering in to get a coffee! Two cases of flaky pastries to choose from that looked delicious..... is lovely smell of baking floats thru the air too, especially since it was just opening for the morning. Flagstaff is now lucky to have a place for delectable pastries and breakfast and lunch treats. The ambiance is amazing. You just feel so welcome here and it's a place to stop in for a quick breakfast or lunch or stop a sit a while. They offer WiFi and there's plenty of parking on the street or around the corner for no charge. The service is with a wonderful smile. I suggest you get here early and often to work your way through the menu. Everything is fresh and delicious. My wife and I stayed in Flagstaff for my 50th birthday and upon waking up early the day after our arrival, I decided to see what Flagstaff had by way of breakfast. We both enjoy breakfast burritos and I have an eternal sweet tooth and happen to see a picture of the cinnamon roll that they make here. So, I headed down to the Flagstaff Baking Company and let me tell, you I was more than impressed. The ladies taking the orders at the counter were so warm and inviting it made me feel as though I was in my own hometown. They asked me where I was from and what I was doing in town. After I informed them that the next day was going to be my birthday, in unison as if they had been practicing it, everyone, including the cook said happy birthday. They asked what I had planned on doing that day., to which I informed them I wasn't sure what me and my wife were going to do that day. Did they have any suggestions? To which one of the ladies behind the counter asked what appeared to be a regular customer what her recommendation would be. Her recommendation was amazing by the way. Back to the restaurant and the food. Their breakfast burritos are absolutely amazing and huge. I defy anyone to finish a whole one in one sitting. And the cinnamon roll, TO DIE FOR!!! if you find yourself in Flagstaff, make sure that you stop by the Flagstaff Baking Company as it truly does have a hometown feel the people there are so warm and inviting and the food is amazing! My food was out of this world. I ordered the marscapone crostini. However, my only advice is to change the gf waffle. It was actually pretty bad. Surprise find today and oh what a delight!! Finally an adorable little bakery and coffee shop. They just opened about 3 weeks ago, so they're still in decorating mode but the pastries look amazing.
