I can't say enough about the people here. I went to another bike shop in Temecula TWO YEARS ago and they refused to do what I asked them to do. I needed my seat pole cut down a tiny bit to accommodate a beach cruiser seat. Even though I explained to the other shop that I don't ride my $500 bike because I can't touch the ground, they said that's how it's supposed to be and that's what is right for your knees. I explained that I am not a cyclist but would only be riding a couple miles at a time because I was trying to get fit. They refused. I told them I understand that my form would not be ideal but that I'd be cruising my neighborhood. Still refused. I was soooo discouraged and have not been on my bike since. I decided it was time to get back on so I called BW and they told me to bring it in. They actually cared when I explained and said if I wasn't comfortable, I wasn't going to ride. EXACTLY! They also fixed something with my brake/chain and were so wonderful about everything. Not pretentious and didn't try to up sell me. Two chances too many. 7 months ago had a bad experiences with customer service and said i wouldn't do business here again. But was in the market for a new bike and saw it on sale here. Against my better judgment i purchased the bike after testing it. It was late in the day close to closing. The bike wasn't tuned up. Austin (sales rep) tells me to take it for a ride and return for a tune up. They're closing so i pay it no mind. (FYI other ships won't let you take the bike until everything checks out) Last week rode diamond valley, gears are popping on the inclines. After the ride i notice the cable to the front derailleur is seriously frayed with only two threads left. I bring it in yesterday and meet with Fernando who advises me about the free 90 day service and not to use it. I tell him what Austin told me and show him the frayed cable. He says that shouldn't happen with only one ride. He also tells me that Austin is new...i suppose Austin shouldn't have told me to go ride and return for a tune up. Maybe the bike should have been tuned up prior to me leaving with it. Ya think? Then Fernando says he won't charge me...umm, my question is...charge me because of? A frayed cable that occurred after my first ride? The faulty inspection of the bike to ensure its in working order? How about if the front brake line was faulty causing me to crash and get injured...again my fault because i didn't insure it was working properly? Either way i planned on riding today and Fernando said he'd call when the bike was done. Figure this shouldn't take long since all I needed was a simple cable change and adjustments to the derailleurs. So expectations were pick up the bike later that day, or early tomorrow. Fernando calls around 3:30pm. Tells me the bike needs to go to a shop. I thought the shop was in the back with the bike stand? Then he began talking to his manager and the line was cut off. He called back and i said, "You have to send it to a shop? I could've brought it to Menifee bikes and they'd have it done in 15 minutes. " He seemed a little perturbed and said, "before we got cut off i was going to tell you we can do it here tonight. Depends on when you need the bike. My boss feels better if it was sent to the shop." I told him I'm riding tomorrow and need it done. He said okay, we'll have it done for you tomorrow and we wont charge you for the 90 day service. (again? is he doing me a favor?) This morning I'm really anxious to get riding. Fernando is busy with paperwork so I'm patient. I see my bike on a stand thinking its ready to go...Nope! Fernando tells me nothing was done. Said his boss didn't want Fernando to do any work on the bike. That his boss wanted to do it himself. Then it was close to closing time and he had to go. Yesterday the agreement was to have my bike worked on that night (change the cable and adjust). Then the bike isn't even worked on AT ALL!!! I tell him this is not acceptable. That i was screwed 7 months ago. I give these guys another shot and they fumble the ball again. Big F'n waste of time! Then Fernando says he guarantees (another one after all the promises prior???) the bike will be done by 2pm. That his boss will be the one to finish it and is get a call immediately when its complete. I shake my head not wanting to blow up in the store and cause a scene. I'm seriously contemplating just going to a REAL shop and paying for the service that should have been done in the FIRST PLACE! So I leave and just as i drive away 10 miles I receive a call from Fernando, "you're bike is done. I took decided to go ahead and finish up the front derailleur and its shifting great." So now i turn around making this a 20 mile round-trip for NOTHING!!! And waste a gallon or so of gas! I get the bike. He points out his boss adjusted the rest derailleur while he changed the cable in the front pointing out how he called the end. This was done within 30 minutes. A simple change of cable and adjustment of the derailleur. And I had to go through this run around. Yesterday when I dropped it off it wasn't busy. Could have been done there while I waited. And yes they should never use my 90 day free service, because this was work that should have been done prior to me taking the bike. I'm not going back for the "free" 90 day service, which they're not going to do anyway. It's going out to another shop. This place is strictly a retail shop posing as a a bike shop. Never coming back here and bringing my business. Don't care what kind of sale is going on. There's a quote from the team leader on their webpage, "Take care of your Guest first and success will follow". Really??? From what I've seen this business should IMPLODE! So buyers beware! Go to a place that KNOWS what customer service is about. And knows how to WORK on bikes! They may not have as large a selection or "deals". But most times you'll get quality service and a quality product! This is strike two here...and I'm DONE! read more

The staff is extremely helpful here. I went to a few different bike shops in the region before purchasing my new MTB and Bicycle Warehouse's staff won me over. They have a giant selection of bikes and you can find just about anything you could want in a bike. If they dont have it at their shop, they have numerous other locations they can get the bike from. Their prices are extremely competitive and the bike I bought was actually cheaper at their store than online which is unheard of. They are very helpful when sizing your bike too as the team really helped me figure out what size bike was best. They have a wide variety of aftermarket accessories as well which was helpful. Also, free tune up on the bike within 90 days... cant beat that! Very happy with my new bicycle and with the team at Bicycle Warehouse! Just a great hobby to fall back in love with again! read more

I ordered a bike 11 weeks ago. The website said 2-3 weeks lead time. At 3 weeks I called and was told it would be here in 6-8 weeks from the time of order. I called again at 8 weeks and was told two more weeks. Now at 11 weeks out and nothing. Bike cost $1700. Not one email or call to update me on anything. I am the one that has to check. Going to call again and ask for my money back. read more

Wish I could give it no stars, but that isn't an option. Customer service is HORRIBLE! I tried to return a bike purchased within the 30 day return period. When I brought the bike back, they wanted to reduce the refund by $600.00 for an imperfection in the paint on the top of the frame. Luckily, I had a picture of the bike from the day it was picked up (in the store with the salesman Alex holding it), that showed the imperfection in the paint. When I showed the Alex the picture of him holding the bike, he said he had no recollection of me ever being there to pick up the bike. Keep in mind, it was only 3 weeks from the date of pick up. He also told me that I would have to get the taxes that I paid on the bike back from the state of California. His reasoning was because the taxes are paid to California, they are the ones who would refund the taxes. (Is that not the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard???). After trying to educate Alex on returns and taxes, I decided I would try to speak with someone more knowledgeable than him. Needless to say, I emailed Debbe (the owner) and told her my issue. Unfortunately, Debbe didn't even have the common courtesy to email me back. I was contacted by Ulysses by phone only after I reached out to my bank to put a dispute on the charges. I was told that I would be able to return the bike for full value as the pictures I sent were looked at and it was confirmed that the imperfection was on the bike at the time of pick up. I loaded the bike back up and brought it in to return it. I asked to speak directly to Ryan (who I was told was the manager). After making me wait for 15 minutes, Ryan was finally available to help me. He must have been having a bad day because he had a bad attitude from the start. After arguing for a while, he told me he would refund my money and to leave the bike but he was unable to give me any sort of receipt confirming the refund. He said that I should "take his word" that he would refund the money. Thankfully I know better than to just leave the merchandise and "take someone's word" that they would refund the $ amount that was promised. Finally after calling Ulysses (the general manager), Ryan was told how to do a refund on the cash register and how to print a receipt. Fast forward 3 1/2 weeks later and I still hadn't received my money. I went to my bank again and they told me that the transaction was never completed on the bike store's end. Another call to Ulysses, and he told me that the bank put a hold on the money because of the hight dollar amount (really, $2700 is considered a high dollar amount?? LOL) Another trip to my bank disputed that theory and the bank told me they never put holds on refund money. Ulysses also told me he had no idea there was a hold placed until I asked about the money not being refunded. So apparently, Chase took the money out of Bicycle Wearhouse's account, but never refunded it me?!? Amazingly, after I told them I was going to pursue interest on the unpaid money, they were able to get the money released and paid to me. All in all, shady business practices and very disappointed that Debbe the owner never reached out to me. If you are considering buying a new bike, please do your research and consider any other bike store...this one is just too dishonest and unethical to give your business to. read more

All the employees here are very knowledgeable and friendly, it's the only place I trust to do my bike repairs. Not only do they tell me what's wrong with my bike they go out of their way to show me and educate me on how they're going to fix it. I appreciate that they are taking a lot of precautions to keep everyone safe, since the pandemic started I've been visiting here at least once a week and they always remember me and my family and make us feel welcomed as if we're old friends. We are beyond grateful for the service provided by your team member Tim Grove  . When I walked in to the store I was greeted by Tim. While he was working with another customer he made us feel welcome and included. Once he is done with his customer he start working with us. I told him it has been 18 years since my last bike riding and I am not sure If I even can balance myself on a bike again!!! . He was very knowledgable and patient with me. He even customized the seat so I can feel comfortable. It was amazing how he slowly got me back to feel in control of my bike again. I told Tim  That I always want to go back to mountain biking however I do not know where to start here in California as I spent my youth in Texas. He offered to take me with him and show me how to handle the trail at Santa rose plateau. He even had me to try his bike there. It was like I am young again and was riding fearlessly. I normally have felt really out of place at bike stores and the workers tend to be kinda rude since I'm a beginner. However, at this store the employees customer service is incomparable to others. The workers are so helpful and nice in this time of Covid. The manager even brings out bottled water frequently while the customers wait outside to be let in to prevent the spread! I went in here about two weeks ago and Arturo got me set up on my first bike and got everything tuned to me. He was extremely helpful and answered my 100 questions and never did I once felt rushed. Hes patient, knowledgable and an overall great salesman To add to this, Ryan, Arturo, Adrian, and Mike are the four I have interacted with while being in the store about a handful of times within the last two weeks. Each and every one of them gave the best customer service, all of then have patience like a saint to help with any questions regarding gear, upgrades, and bikes. I just left this bike shop very disappointed. I had my 10 year old with me and I had a BMX Bike that I had purchased for his older brother several years ago. I wanted to fit the bike for him and the guy behind the counter was disinterested in helping me at all. I said my oldest son road this bike maybe 4 times and I spent over $350 and my 10 year old has ridden it like 400 times ... and that he would like a full hand brake shorter cranks... smaller peddles... and I asked him what would I be looking at for pricing? Well that would be a lot. I said alot.... he said yeah. Pause..... ..... I said well I will i guess I will see you then. Wow.. i have been going to bike shops and building and repairing bikes since I was a kid and racing BMX bikes in NJ back in the 70s. I have had 4 other bikes services and repaired ar JAX in Murrieta... I will be going there next. A guy at the front counter passed by us as we wheeled our BMX bike back out of the store and I said to him that they lost me as a customer. My 10 year old and stopped for lunch and heading to another shop. Sad thing is I thought since I had bought the bike there that would mean I was a serious customer and looking for pricing and to do the work for my son. I have 5 children and lived in town here since 2001. Sad... maybe it was my Green Bay Packers Shirt or the Vista Murrieta Ball cap? Who knows... read more

We went in today with the intention of purchasing an entry level road bike. We received some good information and I was ready to get fitted for a bike. The salesman said he needed to ring up another customer, totally understandable. I even asked if I should come back during the week because they seemed pretty busy. There was another sales person working as well and was fitting and selling another bike. He assured me he could help us today. It took really long to ring her up then walk her out to her car, over 30 minutes. Still, we waited because I liked how informative the sales person had been. He came back into the store and went to help a guy who had just come in and was looking at accessories. Still, we waited thinking it would just be a minute and he knew we were serious about buying a bike. But as he continued to walk the guy to another accessory rack he didn't acknowledge us. I decided I was done waiting. We were in the store for over an hour. I was really bummed because it seems like a good pace to purchase and I was ready to purchase. They just really need to work on the customer service. We weren't the only ones to leave unattended. We counted three other customers who left as well. Maybe it was a bad day. read more

1st time in this place only needed a tube. The only employee there was clueless. He works at a bicycle shop and doesn't know what a tube is? Really? I found what I needed after he directed me to the opposite side of the store. Got home, needed to know if they had my disc pads in stock so I don't make the drive for nothing. The phone number on my receipt from this morning, says its disconnected. They don't even know their own phone number. At the least, it was changed probably years ago but they still haven't reprogrammed the register? Really? Had to google the actual phone number, could talk to a human, got a stupid recording from "Hi, I'm Debbie - founder of bicycle warehouse", blah blah. Then no one answers. FUCK THIS PLACE! read more

This has to be the absolute best experience I've ever had buying anything! Arturo was above and beyond. Exceptional service from beginning to end. Very thorough on setting up the bike(while injured even) to explaining everything. I bought my bike and at the last minute bought my daughters bike and Brian and Arturo made sure both were ready to be picked up knowing I had a long drive to get them. I walked in the store today and the salesman was on the phone. I thought nothing of it at first figured he was talking to a customer. I start walking around to check out the mountain bikes I'm curious about taking it up as a hobby. It takes me about a min to figure out the salesman is having a personal conversation and not talking to a customer at all. I wait a couple of mins and walk out. He had zero interest in helping me today. I was ready to buy two new mountains for me and my wife. Bottom line is I have had better service at sports chalet or REI. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!! My husband who is currently in the market for a mountain bike, came into this establishment today. He was explaining to the worker what he was looking for and the guy just seemed to give him a generic response and just pointed to the row he should look at. He continues to say "I'm dealing with something right now and will get back with you." Well we stayed a good 35-40 minutes after that and not once did he ask how are we doing and if we needed more help. If this something "really important" that he was dealing with he wouldn't have been having small talk with the other co-worker about the weather and how hot it is. Service sucks, and inventory sucks (well that I saw, not sure if they had more due to lack of helpfulness). We will go to Black Mountain Bikes in SD for our purchase. They are prompt, helpful and eager to let you ride their products! read more

This evening my family and I wandered in to bicycle warehouse looking to fix my husbands bike. To our disappointment they didn't have the part we needed. But Brian helped us out by checking the prices on a few other things and was up front and honest with us as to whether we should do wheel repair or to just replace it.
