The owner became visibly irritated and began criticizing my boyfriend's current shirt, insisting the one in the store was far superior--ironically, the shirt he was wearing had been purchased from that same store previously. The entire interaction felt argumentative, dismissive, and unnecessarily condescending. Shopping should not feel like you have to justify your budget or defend your decisions as a customer. There are plenty of places that offer both quality products and respectful service. This was not one of them.
