I bought a motorhome from this location, They sold me a motor home with tires that needed to be replaced. The tires are 6 years old. Had a blow out with my family in the coach. it was not a cheap coach where they did not take the time to go through it. ac in the coach does not work, i called for months trying to get a hold of someone and always send me to someone's voice mail. Ian was the manager at the time and has never returned any of my calls, sold me a warranty that does not cover any of the issues with the coach. Worst serviced I have received. stay away from this place, going to file a small claims court against this company. read more

I met Jake Richardson at the Colton Camping World during one of the mega sales. He spent a lot of time listening to what was important to me in a trailer. I already knew I was looking for a needle in a hay stack. I couldn't find anything that suited my needs that day but he said he would text me some trailers that I might like. He was true to his word (the only salesperson I met) and would periodically reach out and send new and pre-owned additions.....but didn't harass me like I've had happen elsewhere. I still had the problem that I had very, very specific needs. I would even send him listings from different RV Sales lots or private parties and ask if he could find something similar. He would get back to me the next day with the units that Camping World carried. He even politely made suggestions that I didn't previously think about when going through 100s of trailers for sale. Unprofessional in general for two different men to say "be right back" and someone else shows. Apparently, our last guy had only been there two months and I would hope he doesn't stay long. We had more knowledge than he did. He questioned us when we said we wanted a bumper pole. Extremely unprofessional, asking for a ride in our personal vehicle back to the front of the lot. Profiling us when we told him our budget was nonexistent. Asking about our jobs instead of how he could find us a rig. Sorry... some people actually live with no budget. Had us going around the lot in circles just to tell us what we were looking for wasn't there. It's been a week later and there still has not been a follow up call after saying he would look around for us. We walked onto the yard from the car, were welcomed by 2 salesmen who were out by the parking lot. They were super nice and smiled etc. They didn't inform us on anything else because they were working with their own customers. We started walking towards the trailers (not knowing we had to sign in), and some lady from inside came out with a super negative attitude. She was directing us to sign in inside. This would have been no big deal, but we are young, and she clearly acted like she expected us to be a waste of her time. This was a bummer because it looked like there were 4, or so, intriguing trailers just viewable from the parking lot. I was in the area for only a couple of weeks and bought a travel trailer from Camping World Temecula. The sales staff, especially Brian Critton, was accommodating and quickly jumped into action when my plan to tow my newly purchased trailer back home fell apart. An independent tow was organized and I received the trailer shortly after. There was some of the usual sales pressure to buy additional equipment, services, extended warranty, etc. There was also some contention over needing insurance for a fully paid trailer. If you do make sure to read between the fine lines, we picked out our travel trailer signed all the paperwork, finance manager told us we were qualified put the down payment down, bought the insurance. Then the day before we were supposed to pick up our trailer and do the final walk-through we get a call from the finance manager, saying that we do not qualify. INSANE. They gave us our payments, loan information and slapped a sold sticker on the trailer just to pull the rug out from under us the day before we picked it up. When you sell the trailer you've purchased from Camping World and try to get refunded for any additions you were convinced of buying with the trailer, I would recommend not going to Joseline. She has no sense of urgency to get your paperwork in, and when you follow up with her, she'll claim she "resent" the paperwork. Once you hear that line, call the company who the paperwork should be sent to, and you'll find out she's lying. It was our second visit finalizing the financing and "walkthrough" of the travel trailer and our experience with "roadside assistance" we supposedly rolled off the lot with that Camping World and Good Sam get a "star." Beware of Camping World and Good Sam they are deceitful, predatory, and only see you as a sale. I have already completed my customer experience survey and written to corporate detailing all the unfair business practices. Hi all , I have been looking for a travel trailer to suit my family's needs . My wife and i looked private party and other dealers. We went to see several trailers from offer up posts and fb marketplace. We were told one thing then went yo see them and they were not in the condition we expected. We even went to other camping world locations. We either met with showroom who just wanted to sell us anything. We wanted the right one at the right price. Enter stage Jacob . He was patient heard us out and gave us what we were looking for at a point we were not ready yo commit to a price point that was above what we wanted to spend. Instead of giving up or moving on he offered many other options from same model types or manufactured to even preowned versions of the one we really liked. Ultimately it took a few days but he kept searching and negotiating till we felt good about the investment. We ended up getting the new one we wanted with the right features. We added solar panel and inverter and distribution hitch and for peace of mind Joseline in financed helped us get a great finance package to be able to add extended warranties. All in we found that we were treated very well and they never hesitated to answer us . That was before the sell. It's been a few weeks since our purchase and Jacob has answered my call or text very promptly when I've had questions about a feature or issue i was having . That is beyond helpfully. Absolutely the worst experience buying a used motorhome . We were looking for a used motorhome had it narrowed down down to 3 one at a dealer and 2 privet owner. so on 3/10/25 we went and seen a 2013 Thor Daybreak with 13K at the camping world in menifee had appt at 12:00pm and we got there a little early and checked in and they were stumbling around and the unit we went to see was on there web site. so then they said it was in the shop being worked on so this vehicle had not been reconditioned yet so should have not been listed yet so we found some issues so then we went and listen to sales pitch which said they are replacing all 6 tires and replacing the 2 batteries for the coach and service the generator. All that sounded good so we made the deal and put the deposit down and was to be ready Friday at 9:00am so we made reservations for Friday through Sunday at lake skinner just to check things out. We get a call on Thursday and they said that they need to change the time to 11:00am. we get there at 11:00 and then we go to finance to sign all that paperwork so 45 minutes later still not ready so they said it was ready went and did the walk around in the rain at 1:30pm. so got the keys and went to drive out and the ABS light was on so went back and 30 minutes later tech comes out with a scanner and hour later they said that I could take to make our reservation and then drop it off Sunday and then it would go to the ford dealership So while he's doing I figured better check the light and have the running lights we out the changed at least 9light bulbs. no QC process at all. also told them steering wheel is way off center and an ear piercing noise in the brake. so a couple of weeks later got it back light is out a steering wheel is better but brake noise is still there. So about 3 weeks late went to an RV park in cherry valley and we had to jump it to start it. and then on 5/15 took it in to Riverside to have the electrical checked out and the slide out would not close all the way. Around the end of may the parts were in and should be ready by 6/9 or 6/10 which was fine because we have a trip on the 14th. So on the 9th did not get a call so on the 10rh at 11:53 called the writer said he will check with tech and call me back. by 5:05 no call so I called them and I guy answered and said sevice was closed I kinda went off and what are talking about you web site and paper work say 5pm he said don't know what to tell you they are closed. So called Wednesday and then they said was writer was off today and can send me to his voicemail and he will call you back tomorrow told her no I need an answer now this is getting closer to not making our trip so I called camping worlds complaint line and a lady called back and went over everything with her and she called the service manager and explained to him what was going on. So serviv manager called on Wednesday and said the he doesn't know what's going on with this repair which stupid a manager should know what's going on in his shop. So that tells me they don't have a production meeting in the morning. I work at a corporate body shop and have to call customers twice a week and our manager knows what's going on all the cars in the shop and we have 20 40 cars in repairs. so he did call back and said will be done on Thursday so I took 3 hrs off work to go get it so when went to writers desk he laid out 3 copies of paperwork and said sign here and you owe $200 did not go over what was done said heres your key. so walked out to coach and opened the door and the steps didnt come out so checked switch was on double checked the battery button and it was on so went back to writer he came out and looked and it for a few minutes and then said I don't know. He offered to give a stool to use so we can go on our trip. told him I had took Friday off work and fix it and call when done. So sent another message to there complaint dept she's called me Friday morning all apologetic and that they will make this right. So she called back few hours later and said she spoke with the service manager, and the manager said there was no steps on the work order when it was dropped off I explained to her yes there would not be no steps on the work they worked fine when I dropped it off so she said she'd call service manager again and apparently he said that he the steps by Wednesday but it would cost $300 and I said you don't expect me to pay this since it stopped working there. They said well it's an older motorhome things it happen on You need to fix it so going after a phone calls. I told him it's under warranty just fix it you guys had already screwed up my get it done. This motorhome has been in their shop longer than I've had it here at the house. I was only able to use it twice. Also, under the repairs, they said the coach batteries were weak that they should be replaced and I explained to them that was part of the deal when I bought it they were supposed to change the batteries then. read more
