This is my 2nd season renting through Lake RV Rental. We have been renting Class C RV's and travel trailers for my kids mountain biking season. Every rental has been 100% smooth!! I have been working with Taffy both seasons. She is extremely knowledgeable when it come to technical questions about the rentals and has help me answer any questions I have had with a quick phone call. Saved an RV online that I liked for a few days being sold by this dealer. Contacted them after garnering finances to buy, but only to find out it was sold and was told I could look for other RV's on their main website. However, the RV ad for the low priced RV was still running on the other site still not showing as "sold", and was not on the main website. This is a common unethical marketing business practice that some businesses do to drive traffic to the main website or get you to call a salesman. Some would call it "bait and switch". The low priced RV was sold and at the time of this post is still not taken down even after advising them. I will not give them my business and this was my experience and opinion of the experience. read more

As a full-time RV resident in my 2004 Alegro Bay class A, when my refrigerator stopped working I did not want to replace it with a new model rather I wanted to refurbish my existing one. I HATE it when someone does the ol' Bait and Switch on me or tries to upsell me into something I really don't need. When most people like me are buying a RV we often don't have a lot of experience in knowing all the questions to ask. You just don't know what you don't know. That's why I'm very grateful that we found Kyle and Lake RV and Storage. I would advise you in advance that if you're looking to "steal" one of his RV's you can forget about it. Kyle knows too much about what he sells to accept anything but a fair price for what he's offering. That being said it works both ways-if you want a square deal by an honest businessman you are already home. I'm old enough to know that often "deals" are very costly in the end. Please just tell me what's right and what's wrong with the item I want to purchase and let me decide where I want to go. Because my wife has a disability having something dependable is very important to us. We are certain we got that from Kyle. Lake RV and Storage is amazing! Decided to check up on these guys and noticed I never got around to leaving a review. Kyle and his crew were the best! As soon as I talked to him on the phone I could tell he wasn't in this to try and rip me off. You could tell he was an honest family man with good morals. Im very new to the whole trailer industry and he had no problems explaining to me in the fine details to help me understand the ins and outs! He agreed to meet me at the lot to go over some of the options they had and he was very matriculate and descriptive in describing the differences between the models he had. He helped explain what would be more beneficial to the vehicle I was driving and price point I was searching for. By the time I had met up with Kyle, I had already called just about every rental company in what seemed to be all of southern California. He was by far the least pushy, best priced and most knowledgeable. When it came time to make a decision, it was a no brainer! My family went with Lake RV! The owner has great communication, the staff is always friendly, and it has good security. We have not had any issues and are very pleased with the service. Currently, we are storing our trailer at this facility but they also do rentals for vacationers. They also allow late entries after hours if you communicate ahead of time with the owner. We rented the 21 ft Tango travel trailer for a total of 6 days and it was perfect for our little family! We towed with our Chevy Colorado and took the trailer to Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu and didn't encounter any issues. From scheduling, to teaching us how to set up, the staff was amazing. We had a wonderful trip to Vail Lake KOA. The entire trip was seamless and stress free, thanks to Lake RV. We rented a trailer from lake rv rentals in August 2019 and they were very friendly and helpful. Miguel was our contact person and he was great, he made the whole process really easy. The problem was when we brought it back, we got stuck in traffic and were late. Miguel was very understanding and said no problem. He said he had to leave, but gave us the code to the gate and said we could put the trailer in ourselves. We took video of where we parked it and texted Miguel. The next day, Miguel texted us and said he refunded our deposit minus $45 for not emptying the tank. We told him we did empty the tank and that we had full hookups where we camped and we emptied it before we left. So then another guy named kyle texted us back and said we must not have emptied it correctly and that if we had any evidence that we emptied it, we could email it to him. Of course we didn't have evidence that we emptied it. We never thought that we would need to video tape emptying the tank. We had full hookups and who drives long distance with a full tank. It was basically his word against ours, so we ended up paying the $45. We felt they should atleast split the $45. The trailer was expensive and they made money. It was bad customer service the way it ended. Not sure if I will rent from them again. read more
