Went in for some chemicals and needed some help with my Hayward Filter clamp. Ally the assistant manager was so helpful! I have been to the store several times since I've purchased my pool home but this time the service was simply top notch. Ally tried to fix one of the pieces for me but eventually she found another solution! She told me if it didn't work to bring it back but there was no need, it worked perfectly! Most other times I'm just in and out of the store real quick and no one (who works there) usually talks to me. Ally made the 3 trips in one day visit a pleasant shopping experience! I hate dealing with all Leslie's. All the people behind the counter are trained in is up sell. Within the last two weeks I've been to lake elsinore and Murrieta stores and BOTH stores were 10 bucks more than they quoted when I get there to purchase. You will be MUCH better off to fund your answers on the TFP forum site then get your parts at an independent pool supply store. I hate being lied to by Leslie's! read more

Staff is very rude, and they are also handing out fake money. They gave us change back and we used it at the mcdonald's. The mcdonald's kept the fake money. We went back to the pool supply and they didn't do anything about it. They handled the whole situation very rudely. read more

As I had a problem with algae's that kept coming back , and coming back . My pool guy didn't really solve the problem , so I had to let him go .Paying him every month and not having a real clean pool , was very frustrating ....he said " I don't know , I can't seem to get it right " I went to Leslie's Pool Supplies in Lake Elsinore for advice . John , their Manager, knew Exactly what was wrong with it .....He wrote everything down for me what I needed to do , and gave me the chemicals I needed to use . I've been buying my pool supplies from Leslie's Pool Supplies for just over 2 years. I can't possibly say enough good things about this shop. John, is almost always there. He's incredibly knowledgeable about what is needed to keep my pool clean, crystal clear and in working order. The store hours work great for ppl who need to stop by after work to grab what they need. The store carries fun stuff for the kids to play with in their pool and even a few things for the moms who don't want to get all wet but want to relax and float on the water. I have not had one good experience here. They are always understaffed, I've waited over half an hour for a water test because there's one single inept employee ringing people up, answering questions, doing water tests, and answering the phone. This inept employee did not know the answers to any of my simple questions, regarding how to properly maintain a small above ground spa. Upon me asking a question that would seem to be one of the most common, what to use to chlorinate my spa, the employee began to answer then changed his answer a number of times, unknowing of wether bromine or chlorine is better for a spa. I then asked a question about a product he recommended, and he began to read the instructions on the box. Thank you sir but I know how to read, I'm trying to save time by asking you. These are supposed to be the experts, and I seemed to be answering my own questions for him. I received no help of any value after waiting an asinine amount of time. The next time I came in I was helped by a girl who really hadn't a clue what she was talking about. She seemed to have been thrown on the team with little to no training, she should've at least been ringing people up, not making a fool out of herself and wasting time attempting to answer the most basic of questions. With all of this said, my jacuzzi has not had ideal levels of any chemical since I've been following recommendations from this joke of a store. I would not recommend this place to anybody. read more

I purchased a pool brush about 1 to 1 1/2 months ago here. It broke at the neck so I brought it back to get it exchanged. The fella a the store said they do not have a warrenty. I was not looking for a warrenty, I was looking for my local supplier to make good on selling quality product like my local pool supplier that I use also does. I quickly learned that they do not know who I am because they change employees there so often. Lesson learned, purchase where they know you and will stand behind the products they sell. Even Leslie's knows a pool brush should last longer than 30 days. Maybe that is why they sell less quality product, so they can make another sale quickier than normal. read more

I am so pissed right now! I took the day off to have my new $1500.00 pump installed & i get a call this morning that someone in Leslies pool supply installation department called in sick... are you kidding me? A big company like Leslies can't cover that? I need this done TODAY. Pool has sat 4/5 days & we've had fires & ash & i was guaranteed a 48 hour installation- i cannot take any more time off! I purchased an Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System. I spent approx. $250. The system stopped working sometime between the 14th and 20th day after purchase. On the 20th day (my day off, a Saturday), I called Leslie and asked if I could exchange it for a working unit. I was told, since it was more than 14 days since my purchase it could not be exchanged. That was about 5 weeks ago, my unit has not been fixed, or replaced. Spoke to Leslie's about it last week, and they offered to call Intex and tell them what to do. (What is that about???) Had my navigator pool sweep rebuilt yesterday and it seems to work fine once again. The kit was $78.00 which is slightly higher than some other kits I found . But the labor and the diagnosis was free. Overall good service clean store and plenty of product to choose from. Price was the only reason it wasn't 5 stars. read more
